Typical activities will include: • Calling businesses from our existing database • Speaking with owners, directors, production managers and purchasing managers • Understanding what work they currently outsource • Introducing our CNC, cut & edge and related services • Identifying problems with their existing suppliers where appropriate • Encouraging interested companies to send us drawings or cutting lists for quotation • Following up interested prospects • Maintaining accurate notes in our CRM/database • Developing promising prospects into longer-term accounts We are looking for someone who: • Speaks excellent/native-level English • Has significant UK B2B telephone sales experience • Sounds natural and confident rather than scripted • Is comfortable speaking with business owners and manufacturing/trade customers • Has strong follow-up skills • Understands relationship-based selling • Can work independently and provide clear reporting Experience in manufacturing, joinery, construction, interiors, kitchens, furniture, building products or other B2B trade environments would be particularly valuable. We would initially like to run a paid trial of approximately 10–20 hours. If successful, this could develop into an ongoing role.
