Shopify CMS Connector – Order Synchronization Integration

We are looking for an experienced developer to build a *Shopify connector* for our existing CMS/backend system.

## Project Scope

We already have an existing CMS and codebase. We need a connector that integrates our system with Shopify and synchronizes order information between Shopify and our CMS.

The integration should cover:

- Connect our existing CMS/backend with Shopify
- Retrieve new Shopify orders
- Synchronize order details into our CMS
- Sync customer and delivery information
- Sync purchased products, SKU, quantity, pricing, discounts, and totals
- Sync payment and fulfillment status
- Handle order updates and cancellations
- Avoid duplicate orders during synchronization
- Implement proper error handling and logging
- Support automatic/background synchronization
- Use Shopify APIs and webhooks where appropriate

## Order Data

Typical information we need to synchronize includes:

- Shopify Order ID / Order Number
- Order date and time
- Customer name and contact information
- Billing and shipping address
- Product name
- SKU / Variant
- Quantity
- Unit price
- Discounts
- Shipping charges
- Tax
- Order total
- Payment status
- Fulfillment / delivery status
- Tracking information
- Order notes

## Existing System

The CMS is already operational. The main requirement is to develop the integration layer/connector rather than building a new CMS.

We will provide access to the relevant existing source code and explain our current database structure and order workflow.

## Developer Requirements

We are looking for someone with experience in:

- Shopify API integration
- Shopify webhooks
- Backend/API development
- Existing CMS or ERP integrations
- Database integration and data mapping
- Order synchronization
- Error handling, retry mechanisms, and logging

Experience building Shopify connectors for ERP, POS, WMS, or custom CMS systems would be an advantage.
