Key Requirements: Create a minimum of five original granny square designs that are unique and do not resemble existing patterns on the market, ensuring no copyright infringement. Design themes may include fruits, berries, other types of food, animals, accessories, flowers, mandalas, patterns inspired by nature (like the moon, stars, or sun), or any other creative textures and motifs. Provide a written pattern in US terminology with clear, step-by-step instructions. Include high-quality images to accompany each step in the pattern. Bonus: Ability to create a video tutorial for the granny square design (optional, with a higher budget available). Compensation: The price is set per pattern but is open for discussion depending on the complexity and quality of the work. Pattern Drafter

I am seeking a skilled pattern Drafter to draft me a close fitting corset block pattern and a basic bodice block pattern. Both should have princess seams and the basic bodice block should have a dart on the back panel. These patterns are for occasion wear close fitting bodices. Initially I would need one size, and eventually will need grading upwards for a complete set of sizes.

Seamstress Needed – 50-Piece Sewing Project (Upcycled Trousers)

We’re a small, independent clothing label based in North London, looking for a reliable and experienced seamstress to help us complete a batch of 50 pairs of trousers. ⸻ What we’re looking for: • Location: Ideally based in North London and able to pick up/drop off from our studio in Haringey (N22). If you’re based elsewhere in the UK, we can post garments back and forth – though please note this adds to project costs and isn’t our first choice. • Equipment: You must have access to a straight-stitch industrial machine and a reliable iron. ⸻ About the project: This is a one-time project to complete 50 pairs of upcycled trousers. The trousers are made by combining two vintage pairs, so all details (zips, waistbands, pockets, hems) are already done for you. Each piece will be cut and overlocked by us in preparation for you. Your role will be to: • Sew 4 seams to join the front and back leg panels (these run through the centre of each leg – see images) • Press the garment • Topstitch 4 waistband seams – our seams go through the waistband when the trousers are joined. These need to be topstitched open only at the waistband to ensure they lay flat and avoid bulk. • Occasionally topstitch patches that we’ve already glued in place Once prepped (by us), each pair takes approximately 15 minutes to sew and press – often less for experienced machinists. ⸻ Payment: We’ll pay a per-piece rate, to be agreed based on your experience and speed. Please include your proposed rate per completed pair when applying. ⸻ Getting started: We’d love to meet for a morning – either at our studio or yours – the first time we work together. That way, we can walk you through the process and make sure we’re both aligned before the work begins. The trousers are simple, but as they’re upcycled, there are a few quirks to the construction that we’d like to explain in person.

Dressmaker wanted for regular small project

I am looking for someone to make four bodycon dresses per month. Two will have a sweetheart neckline and two will have a Bardot neckline. I will also require the odd order of some mini skirts, leggings and nightwear but primarily the work is for bodycon dresses. I have been let down twice by people on PPH so please only apply if you are reliable. I am happy to send you both dresses so as you can make up a template. I will then buy and send the material to your address. Your job is to make up the dresses and send them to me. I will pay for your time at £25 per dress along with postage, This is a job that would suit someone who loves dressmaker.

I am looking for a pattern maker who can create a sweatshirt pattern (I've got some rough ideas of having a slightly more curved and oversized sleeve), as well as a seamstress who can sew together the pattern pieces once they have been printed and dyed.
