Local Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator – Delhi, India

I'm looking for a reliable and experienced local assistant based in Delhi, India to manage and supervise the entire supply chain process for shipping children's clothing from Delhi to Jebel Ali, UAE. I'm not looking for someone who only searches for a freight forwarder. I need someone physically based in Delhi who can personally visit the supplier, inspect the goods, supervise preparation and loading, coordinate with the freight forwarder and oversee the process from the supplier until the shipment is arranged and handed over to the freight forwarder. Shipment Information Product: Children's clothing Weight: Approximately 300 kg Volume: Approximately 1 CBM Origin: Delhi, India Destination: Jebel Ali, UAE Shipping: Sea freight Terms: DDP Pickup: EXW from supplier's warehouse Frequency: Shipping and inspection will be required regularly on a monthly basis. Supplier's address: State: Delhi City: New Delhi Area: Gandhi Nagar Locality: Multani Mohalla Street: Prem Gali In the UAE, I will personally collect the shipment from the freight forwarder's warehouse. Your Responsibilities 1. Supplier Coordination Communicate directly with the supplier. Visit the supplier's warehouse when required. Verify the supplier and goods. Check quantity, condition, packaging and general quality. 2. QC / Inspection Personally inspect the goods or arrange a suitable inspection. Take photos/videos and provide a detailed inspection report. Confirm that the goods match the agreed specifications before shipment. 3. Supply Chain Supervision Supervise the process from the supplier's warehouse until handover to the freight forwarder. Arrange and supervise loading. Coordinate local transportation from the supplier to the freight forwarder. Ensure the goods are properly packed and prepared for sea freight. 4. Freight Forwarder & DDP Shipping Find and communicate with reliable freight forwarders in Delhi. Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate the best possible rate. Arrange sea freight from Delhi to Jebel Ali under DDP terms. Confirm that the DDP quotation includes destination charges, customs clearance, import duties/taxes, documentation and all other required charges. Ensure there are no hidden charges. Provide the final quotation and a clear breakdown of all costs before any payment is made. 5. Payments & Financial Responsibility I will provide the required funds through the platform before payment. You must be able to pay the freight forwarder on my behalf and provide proof of payment. Regarding the supplier, I prefer that you or the freight forwarder pay the supplier on my behalf. Whoever makes the payment must take responsibility for the transaction and provide proof of payment. I will provide the supplier's payment amount through the platform before payment. Please confirm that you can handle these payments and take responsibility for them. 6. Shipment Tracking Follow up with the freight forwarder throughout the shipment. Provide regular updates regarding shipment status and relevant information. Shipping Budget My target is approximately USD 60–117 per CBM. For the first shipment, the maximum total budget I am currently willing to consider is USD 200, including DDP sea freight and inspection, as well as the other requirements mentioned above. I need a clear final cost with no hidden or unexpected charges. Important I specifically need someone physically based in Delhi who can personally supervise the supplier and logistics process. Your role must be more than simply finding a freight forwarder. I need someone who can act as my local representative in Delhi and supervise the entire supply chain from the supplier to the freight forwarder. If the first shipment goes well, there will be regular monthly shipping and inspection. Please Include in Your Proposal Your experience with India–UAE shipments. We are a private hire and passenger transport company based in Surrey and are looking for an experienced tender/procurement specialist who is very familiar with Surrey County Council, particularly its Home-to-School, SEND and passenger transport procurement processes.
