Luxury Marketplace Operations & High-Value Logistics Specialist
Description VANDALUX is a pre-launch European marketplace for authenticated pre-owned luxury goods, including designer handbags, watches, jewellery and accessories. We are looking for an experienced Luxury Marketplace Operations Specialist with practical experience in luxury resale, consignment, authentication, auction operations, high-value logistics/fulfilment or a related field. This is not a general Project Manager or strategy-consulting role. VANDALUX has already developed its proposed Commercial operating model and is in discussions with specialist providers covering authentication, secure logistics/custody, insured transport and related infrastructure. We are not looking for someone to restart this work from zero. We need someone who can take the existing work forward, communicate directly with relevant providers/facilitators, close remaining operational gaps and help turn the different components into a simple, workable end-to-end transaction process. Intended Transaction Model Our proposed workflow is broadly: Seller photos/details → preliminary remote authentication → transaction → secure collection/custody → controlled authentication evidence captured independently of Seller → final authentication → insured delivery to Buyer. Where remote authentication is insufficient, an item may exceptionally require physical authentication. The final workflow is still being validated with providers. The objective is a secure but operationally simple model suitable for initially low transaction volumes. What We Need The specialist may help: coordinate directly with authentication, secure logistics, custody, insurance and other operational providers/facilitators; close outstanding practical questions with those providers; define responsibilities and handoffs between Seller, logistics/custody, authentication and Buyer; establish practical item identity, intake, condition-recording and chain-of-custody procedures; determine how controlled authentication photographs/evidence should be captured after an item leaves Seller control; coordinate additional evidence requests and exceptional physical authentication; define secure handling, dispatch, returns and failed-authentication/exception workflows; consider custody and insurance continuity across handoffs; identify and resolve genuine operational gaps without introducing unnecessary complexity or fixed costs. Longer-Term Potential We are not simply looking for a consultant to produce a report and leave. If there is a strong fit, we would like this person potentially to continue with VANDALUX at Commercial Launch on a freelance, part-time or on-demand basis, coordinating real transactions/providers and potentially supporting the controlled physical-item workflow. The specialist does not need to personally authenticate items. Authentication decisions will remain with specialist third-party providers. However, practical understanding of authentication operations, high-value item handling, evidence integrity and chain of custody is important. Relevant backgrounds include luxury resale/consignment, auction houses, authentication operations, luxury inventory/quality control and high-value logistics/fulfilment. European/cross-border experience is particularly valuable. Initial Paid Assignment The initial assignment is deliberately limited. The selected specialist will: Review a concise handover of our existing operating model and provider position. Review the proposed transaction workflow. Identify remaining practical operational gaps without repeating completed work. Communicate with relevant providers/facilitators where clarification is needed. Recommend the simplest workable Commercial transaction workflow, responsibilities and handoffs. Identify any material operational blockers. Discuss potential ongoing support at Commercial Launch. We want practical, implementation-focused input, not a lengthy theoretical consultancy report. The budget shown on this listing applies only to this initial assignment. It does not cover future Commercial Launch operations, ongoing transaction handling or a longer-term role. Any subsequent engagement will be scoped separately. When Applying Please briefly describe: Your relevant luxury resale/consignment/authentication/auction/high-value operations experience. Luxury categories you have worked with. Experience with authentication, item intake, evidence/condition recording or chain of custody. Experience coordinating logistics, authentication, custody, insurance or fulfilment providers. Your location and European market experience. Whether you could potentially provide ongoing/on-demand operational support at Commercial Launch. Please focus on directly relevant operational experience rather than general project-management experience.

KDP EBOOK and PAPERBACK FORMATTER NEEDED.
I am self-publishing a professional book about my own acting technique through Amazon KDP and am looking for an experienced book formatter/typesetter to prepare the finished manuscript for both ebook and paperback publication. This is not a request for editing or rewriting. The manuscript is my own work. I need an experienced book formatter who can take the completed manuscript and turn it into a professional, polished, consistent book suitable for Amazon KDP. It contains: Multiple chapters Practical exercises Exercise instructions Headings and subheadings Lists and structured material Illustrations QR codes linking readers to accompanying exercise videos Front matter and back matter Author information and supporting material The current manuscript is approximately 42 pages of content, but I expect it to grow to approximately 60 pages once the remaining material, illustrations and supporting sections are added. The final page count is therefore not yet fixed. WHAT I NEED I need the book professionally formatted for: 1. Amazon Kindle ebook and 2. Amazon KDP paperback I would like the ebook formatting established first so that we have a consistent professional typographic and visual system, which can then be adapted appropriately for the fixed-layout paperback. PAPERBACK FORMATTING The paperback needs to be genuinely KDP-ready, not simply a Word document converted to PDF. You will need to deal professionally with: Page size and margins Typography Chapter openings Heading hierarchy Exercise headings Subheadings Page breaks Page numbering Headers/footers where appropriate Illustrations Captions where required Lists and instructional material QR codes Front matter Back matter Table of Contents Consistency throughout the book The final paperback should look like a professionally published specialist book, not a self-published document. QR CODES & VIDEO LINKS The book contains QR codes linking readers to animated exercise videos. For the paperback, these will be presented as QR codes that readers can scan with a phone. For the ebook, I would like the corresponding video destinations handled as clickable links/buttons where supported, rather than relying on QR codes alone. Please explain how you would handle this. EBOOK Please tell me exactly which ebook format(s) you can supply and whether you prepare the file specifically for Amazon Kindle/KDP. I want the ebook to reflow properly rather than simply being a PDF of the paperback. The typography, headings, illustrations and links should work properly across different Kindle screen sizes. IMPORTANT – THIS IS NOT AN EDITING JOB I am not hiring an editor to rewrite the book. The content and wording are mine. ILLUSTRATIONS I am currently finalising the interior illustrations. The formatter will need to be comfortable positioning illustrations professionally within the text and ensuring they reproduce correctly in both the ebook and paperback. The illustration style and number of illustrations are still being finalised, which is why I need someone experienced enough to make sensible layout decisions. FIXED FEE £175 fixed fee for: ebook + paperback/KDP interior formatting I am looking for a fixed project price rather than a price that continually increases according to page count, provided the final book remains within this approximate range and the agreed scope. Please state clearly what is included in your £175 quotation. I would also like the quotation to include at least two rounds of reasonable revisions/corrections. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF... I am particularly interested in seeing examples of: KDP paperback interiors Kindle/ebook formatting Non-fiction books Educational/instructional books Books containing illustrations Books with QR codes or hyperlinks Please don't send me examples of websites, logos, social media graphics or general Canva work. PLEASE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS How many KDP books have you formatted? Can you format both Kindle ebook and KDP paperback? What software do you use? Can you provide the final KDP-ready files? How would you handle the QR codes for paperback and clickable links for ebook? How do you handle illustrations in both formats? Please show me 2–3 examples of actual book interiors you have formatted. Does your £175 quotation include both formats and two rounds of revisions? How long would you expect the completed formatting to take once I supply the final manuscript? FINAL NOTE This is a project I care about enormously and I want the finished book to look professional, coherent and genuinely publishable. I am looking for someone who understands book design and KDP production, rather than someone who simply knows how to make a document look attractive in Word or Canva. If you have the right experience, please send examples of your actual book-formatting work and a fixed quotation. Thank you.

21 days ago33 proposalsRemoteSenior Full-Stack Developer for Premium Marketplace Platform
We are developing the Pre-Launch MVP of a new digital marketplace for pre-owned and high-value goods and are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Full-Stack Developer / Technical Lead to review the existing specification and potentially build the MVP. This is not a standard e-commerce website or simple listings marketplace. The product includes custom buyer/seller workflows, structured buyer demand, seller inventory and supply connectivity, matching, private inventory, progressive item readiness, communications, notifications and administration. The scope is the Pre-Launch MVP — NOT the complete future Commercial Launch platform. The MVP will operate with real users, buyer demand, sellers and real supply to validate the marketplace before commercial transactions are activated. Pre-Launch MVP The MVP will include: • Buyer and seller onboarding • Structured and persistent buyer search/demand workflows • Seller inventory and supply connectivity • Manual and bulk inventory ingestion • Private/hidden inventory • Configurable, category-specific item information • Progressive item-data completion • Demand-to-supply matching • Seller activation/confirmation when relevant demand exists • Buyer-visible relevant opportunities • Item condition information, photos/evidence • Communications and meaningful notifications • Buyer/seller account areas • Admin and operational controls Detailed workflows and business rules are already documented and will be shared with shortlisted candidates. Technical Direction Preferred stack: Next.js / React / TypeScript Supabase / PostgreSQL API-based third-party integrations We need strong experience in complex marketplace/web applications, database architecture, authentication/permissions, Row Level Security, state-driven workflows, matching/inventory systems, asynchronous processes/webhooks, APIs, concurrency/data integrity, admin tooling, security, performance and maintainable architecture. Commercial Launch — Later Stage The complete transactional platform is not part of the immediate MVP build. Live payments/payouts, full transaction execution, independent authentication, high-value logistics, shipment insurance, refunds/disputes and related provider integrations belong to a later Commercial Launch development stage. However, the MVP must be designed modularly so these capabilities can later be added without rebuilding the core marketplace. Premium UI A professional Brand Identity and Design System will be created separately by a specialist designer. The developer is not responsible for creating the Brand Identity, but must implement the supplied Design System across the MVP to a premium production standard, including responsive desktop/tablet/mobile UI, reusable components, polished interactions and performance-conscious front-end development. Please provide examples of premium interfaces you personally implemented. First Step — Technical Review / Gap Analysis Before full MVP development is awarded, the shortlisted developer will review our detailed documentation and: • assess the architecture and requirements; • identify technical gaps, risks and dependencies; • recommend the implementation approach; • distinguish what must be built now from what only needs architectural preparation for later; • propose milestones and timeline; • provide a fixed-price quotation for the Pre-Launch MVP. We are not requesting a quotation for the complete future platform at this stage. We prefer an individual senior developer / hands-on technical lead, not someone providing only high-level advice. Please include: Relevant marketplace/workflow-heavy applications you personally built. Next.js/React/TypeScript experience. Supabase/PostgreSQL experience. Relevant matching, inventory, permissions or API experience. Premium UI examples. Whether you personally develop the project or work through a team/agency. Your approach to the initial technical review. Current availability. Confirmation that initial assessment and communication can be handled in writing through the platform. Detailed documentation will be provided only to shortlisted candidates.
11 days ago70 proposalsRemoteFreelance Motion Designer — Abstract Animation
1-minute sample, followed by 8 videos of approximately 5 minutes each About the project We’re looking for an experienced motion designer to create a series of highly abstract, visually sophisticated animated videos, built around supplied voiceovers. The project starts with a one-minute sample to establish the visual direction and animation quality. Once the sample is approved, you will produce eight full-length videos, approximately five minutes each. We’re looking for the precision, restraint, and polish associated with premium Apple or Meta motion design—but with an original visual language. Creative direction Very abstract. Minimal. Crisp. Beautifully animated. Rather than showing literal objects or illustrating the narration word for word, use movement, shape, light, texture, and composition to communicate ideas. The visuals might include flowing ribbons, transforming geometric forms, translucent layers, shifting patterns, fluid connections, or carefully controlled particles. These are starting points, not a prescribed style—we’re looking for someone who can bring a distinctive creative approach. Do not use paintings, framed artworks, photographs, characters, literal scenes, or stock-footage montages. Avoid generic explainer icons, dashboard-style interfaces, and template-driven animation. The animation should feel intentional and cohesive, with sharp details, considered lighting, smooth transitions, and confident use of negative space. Typography can be used sparingly, but the piece should be driven primarily by abstract motion rather than text on screen. Abstract should not mean random: changes in rhythm, form, scale, and connection should support the ideas and emotional progression of the voiceover. Project structure Phase 1: One-minute sample Create a fully animated 60-second sample, using supplied narration. This is not just a storyboard, a set of still images, or a slideshow. It should demonstrate the proposed visual language, animation quality, pacing, transitions, and synchronization with the voiceover. We will agree on a concept and a small selection of style frames before you animate the sample. The approved sample will establish the design and quality standard for the full series. Phase 2: Eight five-minute videos Following sample approval, produce eight videos of approximately five minutes each—around 40 minutes of finished animation in total. The series should feel visually consistent while introducing enough variation to keep each video engaging. We need someone who can sustain a strong abstract visual language across longer sequences, rather than repeating a short loop or stretching a few ideas. Audio and materials We will provide the scripts, voiceovers, and available reference material. Keep the supplied voiceovers unchanged. Do not rewrite, rerecord, replace, speed up, or retime the narration. Build the visual pacing around the existing delivery. Any additional music or sound design should be agreed upon before use. Deliverables Provide the completed one-minute sample and, following approval, all eight full-length videos. Final delivery should include high-quality 16:9 MP4 exports at a minimum of 1920 × 1080, plus organized, editable project files and associated assets. Please identify any third-party assets, licensing requirements, or generative tools used. Final work must be suitable for commercial use. Who we’re looking for You should have a strong portfolio in abstract motion design, experimental animation, premium technology films, or design-led 2D/3D work. Excellent composition, timing, transitions, and attention to detail are essential. We’re particularly interested in designers who can develop an original visual system and carry it through a substantial series. After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, Houdini, or an equivalent professional workflow are welcome. To apply Please send 2–3 relevant examples of abstract animation, clearly stating your role in each, and a brief description of your proposed approach. Include separate pricing for the one-minute sample and the eight five-minute videos, along with your availability, estimated production schedule, revision allowance, and source-file handover details. We’re looking for a creative partner for the full series—not just a one-off sample.

3D Human Avatar Animation & Motion Capture. 20 exercise videos
20 SHORT 3D HUMAN AVATAR EXERCISE VIDEOS. PAID TRIAL Experienced 3D Animator / Motion Capture Specialist Wanted I am creating a book and QR-linked video library for my own acting technique. I have already filmed professional actors performing 20 acting exercises and now need an experienced 3D animator/motion-capture specialist to transform those performances into convincing human-like animated characters while preserving as much of the actors' physical performance as possible. This is NOT a simple AI video/filter job. I need someone experienced in video-to-motion capture, 3D human character animation, motion retargeting and professional video editing. THE PROJECT 20 separate exercise videos, divided into five chapters of four exercises. Each finished video will be approximately 40 seconds–1 minute 20 seconds. For each exercise I have: • Complete wide-shot actor footage • Corresponding close-up footage • Synchronised footage using a clap • Actor stating the exercise name/number at the beginning • Actor performing in time with the VO • One professionally recorded VO file per exercise • Music will be supplied I can provide timing/timecode information. WHAT YOU WILL DO For each video: • Process the actor footage using an appropriate professional video-to-motion/motion-capture workflow • Retarget the movement onto a suitable 3D human avatar • Preserve the actor's physical performance as accurately as possible • Create natural human movement, weight, rhythm and timing • Preserve visible breathing, which is particularly important • Reproduce facial expression/performance as closely as technically possible • Edit wide and close-up footage appropriately • Synchronise animation with my professional VO • Add supplied music • Maintain a consistent visual style across all 20 videos • Export high-quality finished videos suitable for QR-linked online viewing VISUAL STYLE I want human-like 3D animated characters, NOT cartoon animals, generic AI animation or a simple filter over the original footage. The purpose is to protect the identity of the real actors while retaining the qualities of their performances. I envisage approximately three consistent character identities/styles - female, male and gender-neutral but the avatars have not yet been created. I am open to your professional recommendation. SOFTWARE / WORKFLOW I am aware of DeepMotion Animate 3D, but I am NOT requiring DeepMotion and do not currently have an account. I am open to DeepMotion, Rokoko, Reallusion/Character Creator/iClone or another suitable professional workflow. Please recommend the workflow you believe will produce the best result within the budget. PAID TRIAL — REQUIRED I have previously advertised this project and received applicants who claimed they could do the work but could not produce the required result. Therefore, I will not award the project based on claims alone. I will shortlist approximately 3 applicants based on their portfolio and experience. Each shortlisted applicant will be offered a £20 PAID TRIAL using a small section of one actual exercise. The trial will assess: • Motion capture/retargeting • Natural human movement • Breathing/body rhythm • Facial performance where possible • Avatar quality • Wide/close-up editing • VO synchronisation • Overall finish The trial is paid work, not a free sample. ACTOR FOOTAGE — STRICT CONFIDENTIALITY The footage contains identifiable professional actors who have agreed to this specific project on the understanding that their identities are protected. FIXED BUDGET £300 FIXED PRICE FOR ALL 20 FINISHED VIDEOS. The £20 trial is separate. No additional hourly charges or unexpected costs. WHAT I PROVIDE Wide and close-up actor footage, synchronisation references, exercise information, professional VO, music and timing/timecode information. No filming is required. PLEASE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS 1. What exact software, AI/motion-capture platform and avatar/character system would you use for this project, and why? 2. Show your strongest example of realistic human 3D character animation. 3. Show an example of human movement captured from video, if available. 4. Do you have facial animation experience? Please show an example. 5. How would you preserve breathing, natural rhythm and physical intention from the actor? 6. What avatar/character system would you recommend? 7. Can you complete all 20 videos for the fixed £300 budget? 8. Will you complete the £20 paid trial if shortlisted? 9. Will you comply with the actor-footage confidentiality requirements? 10. If your workflow uses a third-party AI/motion-capture platform, which one and what happens to uploaded footage? Please do not send a generic application. I am looking for someone who can demonstrate genuine ability to produce convincing human animation, not simply someone who says they can do it. The goal is to create 20 believable, human-looking animated demonstrations while protecting the identity of the real actors whose performances created them.

We are looking for an experienced videographer, filmmaker or AI video creator to produce a powerful 60-second social-awareness video highlighting the racism and discrimination experienced by migrant home-care workers in Ireland. The video should show how an act of racism does not only affect the care worker. It can also prevent them from reaching an older or vulnerable person who is relying on their care. Campaign concept The main character is a female migrant home-care worker travelling by bicycle to visit an elderly client. During her journey, she experiences a racist incident in which a young man steals or damages her bicycle and verbally abuses her. The video then cuts between the distressed care worker and the elderly client waiting at home. The client has prepared two mugs at the kitchen table and repeatedly checks the clock and looks towards the front door. The final message should communicate that when a care worker is targeted, somebody else is left waiting. Suggested structure The care worker gets ready for work, clips on her ID badge and unlocks her bicycle. She cycles through an ordinary Irish suburb on a damp, overcast morning. An elderly client waits at home with two mugs, a newspaper and a medication organiser. The care worker is subjected to a racist incident and is unable to continue her journey. Time passes as the elderly client continues waiting and becomes concerned. The video ends with a strong but sensitive campaign message. Which parts of the existing application you would keep or rebuild. 5. Any technical problems or risks you would expect. 6. Recommended backend/cloud architecture. 7. Your experience with React/TypeScript, mobile apps, AI APIs, OCR and PDF generation. 8. Whether your quotation includes App Store and Google Play submission. 9. Examples of similar business applications you have completed. Important I am not looking for a complete rebuild unless there is a strong technical reason for doing so. The objective is to use the existing application and codebase wherever practical and bring it to production standard. The application will initially be tested by real construction Site Managers before wider commercial release. Please base your proposal on completing and improving an existing working application, rather than estimating the cost of developing the entire product from scratch. I am happy to provide additional information, screenshots and access to the existing codebase to shortlisted developers after initial discussions. Please explain briefly how you would approach the project rather than sending a generic proposal.

Zendesk AI Customer Support Expert Needed
We are looking for an experienced AI / Zendesk / Customer Support Automation specialist to help us turn our historical support data into a comprehensive knowledge base and AI-powered customer service system. Phase 1 – Analyse Zendesk History We have thousands of historical customer conversations in Zendesk. We want these analysed to identify and categorise: - Common customer questions - Technical support & PC troubleshooting - Order and delivery enquiries - Returns, collections & refunds - Warranty enquiries - Cancellations - Damaged/missing items - Marketplace enquiries - Common responses from our team - Complaints & escalations - Situations requiring human intervention The objective is to extract the valuable knowledge contained within years of real customer conversations and convert it into structured, reusable company knowledge. Phase 2 – Build Our Knowledge Base We want a properly structured internal knowledge base covering our products, policies, procedures, troubleshooting and customer service processes. We DO NOT simply want thousands of previous responses copied into a database. Information should be reviewed, consolidated and structured so AI can reliably understand: Customer Question → Relevant Company Knowledge → Correct Recommended Response Where historical answers conflict or company policy is unclear, these should be flagged for our team to review rather than AI making assumptions. This knowledge base should become the central source of truth for both our staff and AI. Phase 3 – AI-Assisted Zendesk Responses We then want AI integrated into our Zendesk workflow. Initially, AI should draft responses rather than automatically send them: Customer Email → AI Analyses Ticket → Searches Knowledge Base → Reviews Relevant Context → Drafts Response → Agent Reviews/Edits → Send AI should also learn our preferred customer service tone/style from approved examples. Accuracy is extremely important. AI must be grounded in approved company knowledge and must not invent policies, warranty information, technical instructions or promises to customers. Clear rules should determine when AI can confidently assist and when a ticket requires human escalation. Phase 4 – Further AI & Automation We also want you to identify other opportunities to automate our customer service operation, including: - Automatic ticket classification/tagging - Intent & priority detection - Complaint/sentiment detection - Suggested macros/responses - Ticket summarisation - Chargeback/dispute detection - Urgent order/delivery detection - Technical support routing - Repeat-contact identification - Automatically requesting missing information - AI troubleshooting assistance - Suggested follow-up questions - Quality checking agent responses - Reporting on common contact reasons - Identifying recurring product faults/issues We would eventually like to investigate extending the system to assist with Amazon, eBay and Temu customer messages, subject to available APIs/integrations. Important We are NOT looking for someone to simply connect ChatGPT to Zendesk. We want someone capable of understanding our business, analysing historical data and designing a reliable, scalable AI customer service infrastructure. We are open to Zendesk's native AI capabilities, OpenAI/LLMs, RAG, vector databases, APIs and third-party automation platforms. We want the successful applicant to recommend the best architecture rather than us dictating the technology. Experience We're Looking For Ideally you will have experience with: - Zendesk & Zendesk APIs - OpenAI / LLM integrations - RAG & AI knowledge bases - Vector databases / semantic search - Customer support automation - E-commerce customer service - API/workflow automation - Prompt engineering & AI evaluation - GDPR/data privacy Previous experience building AI customer service systems from historical ticket data is highly desirable. When Applying Please explain: 1. Your Zendesk experience. 2. Similar AI customer service systems you have built. 3. How you would analyse thousands of historical tickets. 4. How you would structure our knowledge base. 5. How you would integrate AI-generated drafts into Zendesk. 6. How you would minimise hallucinations/incorrect responses. 7. Your recommended technology/architecture. 8. Any Amazon/eBay/marketplace integration experience. 9. Estimated timeframe and approach. Please provide examples of similar projects where possible. Our Goal We want to create an AI customer service co-pilot that helps our team respond faster and more consistently while maintaining human oversight. The system should reduce repetitive work, preserve our accumulated company knowledge and allow customer service to scale with our sales volume. If successful, there will likely be ongoing work maintaining, improving and expanding the system.
