KDP EBOOK and PAPERBACK FORMATTER NEEDED.

I am self-publishing a professional book about my own acting technique through Amazon KDP and am looking for an experienced book formatter/typesetter to prepare the finished manuscript for both ebook and paperback publication.

This is not a request for editing or rewriting.

The manuscript is my own work. I need an experienced book formatter who can take the completed manuscript and turn it into a professional, polished, consistent book suitable for Amazon KDP.

It contains:

Multiple chapters
Practical exercises
Exercise instructions
Headings and subheadings
Lists and structured material
Illustrations
QR codes linking readers to accompanying exercise videos
Front matter and back matter
Author information and supporting material

The current manuscript is approximately 42 pages of content, but I expect it to grow to approximately 60 pages once the remaining material, illustrations and supporting sections are added.

The final page count is therefore not yet fixed.

WHAT I NEED

I need the book professionally formatted for:

1. Amazon Kindle ebook

and

2. Amazon KDP paperback

I would like the ebook formatting established first so that we have a consistent professional typographic and visual system, which can then be adapted appropriately for the fixed-layout paperback.

PAPERBACK FORMATTING

The paperback needs to be genuinely KDP-ready, not simply a Word document converted to PDF.

You will need to deal professionally with:

Page size and margins
Typography
Chapter openings
Heading hierarchy
Exercise headings
Subheadings
Page breaks
Page numbering
Headers/footers where appropriate
Illustrations
Captions where required
Lists and instructional material
QR codes

Consistency throughout the book

The final paperback should look like a professionally published specialist book, not a self-published document.

QR CODES & VIDEO LINKS

The book contains QR codes linking readers to animated exercise videos.

For the paperback, these will be presented as QR codes that readers can scan with a phone.

For the ebook, I would like the corresponding video destinations handled as clickable links/buttons where supported, rather than relying on QR codes alone.

Please explain how you would handle this.

Please tell me exactly which ebook format(s) you can supply and whether you prepare the file specifically for Amazon Kindle/KDP.

I want the ebook to reflow properly rather than simply being a PDF of the paperback.

The typography, headings, illustrations and links should work properly across different Kindle screen sizes.

IMPORTANT – THIS IS NOT AN EDITING JOB

I am not hiring an editor to rewrite the book.

The content and wording are mine.

ILLUSTRATIONS

I am currently finalising the interior illustrations.

The formatter will need to be comfortable positioning illustrations professionally within the text and ensuring they reproduce correctly in both the ebook and paperback.

The illustration style and number of illustrations are still being finalised, which is why I need someone experienced enough to make sensible layout decisions.

FIXED FEE
£175 fixed fee

for:

ebook + paperback/KDP interior formatting

I am looking for a fixed project price rather than a price that continually increases according to page count, provided the final book remains within this approximate range and the agreed scope.

Please state clearly what is included in your £175 quotation.

I would also like the quotation to include at least two rounds of reasonable revisions/corrections.

This is a project I care about enormously and I want the finished book to look professional, coherent and genuinely publishable.

I am looking for someone who understands book design and KDP production, rather than someone who simply knows how to make a document look attractive in Word or Canva.
