Children's Illustrator for Premium Christmas Activity/Adventure Product
We're looking for an experienced children's illustrator to create original artwork for a premium personalised Christmas adventure aimed at children aged approximately 5–8.
The product concept, story, written content and visual direction are already developed. Concept artwork will be provided to the selected illustrator as a reference for the desired aesthetic.
We're looking for a warm, magical, premium storybook style suitable for a commercial children's product. The artwork should feel festive and immersive without appearing overly childish or like generic clip-art.
The project will include illustrations such as:
Santa and elf characters
reindeer
North Pole locations/scenes
Christmas magical objects
props, clues and evidence items
supporting decorative assets
Character diversity will also be required as the project develops, so the illustrator must be comfortable creating consistent character variations while maintaining the same overall style.
Initial paid trial
We'd like to begin with a small paid trial to establish the final illustration style before commissioning the wider artwork library.
The selected illustrator will receive:
detailed creative brief
visual references
required dimensions/technical specifications
individual asset requirements
If the trial is successful, there will be a larger body of work available immediately afterwards.
Requirements
We're particularly interested in experience with children's books, games, activity products, fantasy/magical illustration or children's publishing.
Final artwork must be suitable for commercial print and ideally supplied as high-resolution transparent PNGs plus editable/layered source files where appropriate.
