Audiobook Proof Listening
I am looking for Audiobook Proof Listeners (preferably UK Based or +1 -1hrs for timezone & efficiency reasons) as long as English is the 1st language I pay £15 per finished hour (based on the finished length of the title) which is fairly typical, its a case of listening to the audio, catching errors and obvious noises and noting them down with a timing within the chapter, a description of error and the page and line from top / fb number, usually fiction, there are occasions for another proof however I would usually want a fresh pair of ears for a 2nd run, accuracy is very important narrator, producer & editor will also have ears on the audio, but the fresh ears of a an audiobook proof listener is very important, especially for fiction reads, there is an element of swings and roundabouts with it, sometimes its a nice easy job with few errors, sometimes harder ones but typically balances out, typically our regular narrators are professional and many are audiofile magazine golden voices (now Kirkus) I am looking for people with experience, and reliable at meeting deadlines as work is flowing as usual, and can hit the ground running, work is regular but flexible and a good fit if you have an interest in books and have extra hours to fill in a day I have editors at the moment, so unfortunately I have no extra capacity in that respect

❗️We are no longer taking new proposals❗️as we had too much interest and currently reviewing responses. Bluebird Spaces is a residential construction company in South West London specialising in loft conversions, house extensions, and full house/flat interior renovations. We’re looking for a digital marketing freelancer to take on our SEO, Google Ads, and ongoing website edits as a long-term engagement. The work involves setting up and managing two separate Google Ads campaigns — one for loft conversions and extensions, the other for full interior renovations — targeting SW London postcodes, with dedicated landing pages, conversion tracking, and regular performance reporting. Alongside that, we need ongoing SEO covering on-page optimisation, local SEO (Google Business Profile, citations, local schema), content strategy and blog articles for organic traffic, and a technical audit with fixes. We also need someone comfortable making ongoing edits to our website, which is built on Lovable — copy updates, new pages, and small design changes, while keeping the editorial style clean, human, and structured around client questions rather than corporate. This is our first time working with a marketing freelancer, so clear communication and a structured approach matter to us. Ideal candidates will have UK experience running Google Ads for residential service businesses or trades, with familiarity in Lovable or similar no-code platforms. Examples of relevant work are welcome but not essential. In your proposal, please share your monthly retainer fee broken down by service, your reporting cadence, and a few questions you’d ask us before starting. Generic templated responses will be ignored.

*Looking for UK registered companies only* About StockMyShop StockMyShop Ltd (Company No. 17160242) is a UK-based consumer technology company developing a smart home pantry management system. The product is a retail-ready hardware-software bundle consisting of a dedicated kiosk tablet, a wireless barcode scanner, and a mobile companion app. The StockMyShop application is already fully built and operational. Data, integrations, compliance Capture all existing form data in a structured database: company details, trading/registered addresses, VAT, contacts, services required, anticipated spend/volume, agency flags, payment terms and methods. Role-based access control and full audit trail (submissions, approvals, comments, document versions). GDPR-compliant data handling, encryption in transit and at rest, aligned to UK data standards.
