Freelance Videographer for Social Media Content

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a freelance videographer to create high-energy, social-first video content for The Big Bakes — the UK’s leading immersive baking experience brand.

We run fast-paced, competitive baking events across London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool, and need someone who can capture that atmosphere and turn it into engaging, scroll-stopping content.

This is a production-focused freelance role, starting with a 3-month engagement, with regular work (approx. 2–3 days per week).

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Shoot and edit short-form social content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Capture guest reactions and live event energy
Create campaign, promotional and influencer content
Deliver multiple edits/cut-downs for testing

STYLE & EXPECTATIONS
Social-first editing with strong hooks and pacing
Confident use of captions, music and trends
High-quality finish (colour grading, clean audio)
Ability to contribute creative ideas aligned to performance and growth

LOCATION
Mainly London (Haggerston)
Some UK travel required
You’ll plan and run your own shoot days

YOU’LL NEED
Strong portfolio of social video work
Experience in live events / hospitality (preferred)
Understanding of engagement, watch time and retention
Ability to work independently and hit deadlines
Your own professional filming and editing equipment

DETAILS
Approx. 2–3 days per week
Initial 3-month engagement (extendable)
Rate: £14.40 per hour (fixed budget)
All content produced will be owned by The Big Bakes with full usage rights
This is a consistent, ongoing freelance opportunity with regular weekly work and clear briefs provided.
