Video Editor Wanted: Podcast and Social Media Content
About Me I am a property investor, developer, and business strategist based in Edinburgh. I host a video podcast called Profits and Parenting, aimed at ambitious business owners who are building wealth without sacrificing family life. I also create broader business and investment content for social media across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. What I Need I am looking for a reliable video editor to handle two types of work on an ongoing basis: Full podcast episode edits: Recorded video podcast, typically 30 to 60 minutes. Needs clean cutting, audio balancing, intro and outro, captions, and basic graphics where appropriate. Short-form social clips: Pulling the best 60 to 90 second moments from longer recordings and formatting them for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts. Vertical 9:16 format, captions burned in, punchy editing for retention. Style and Tone The content is professional but human. Think sharp and modern without being gimmicky. The target audience is business owners and investors, so the edit should feel credible and polished rather than flashy. Key things I want: - Punchy cuts and good pacing to keep attention - Clean captions, well placed and readable - Zoom cuts and punch-ins where they add energy - Consistent style across episodes so the brand looks intentional Volume and Timeline Initially 2 to 4 podcast episodes, with 4 edited for launch date. Turnaround of 5 to 7 days per episode is ideal. I am looking for an ongoing working relationship with the right person, not a one-off. What I Am Looking For - Portfolio showing video podcast or video edits specifically - Experience creating short-form clips optimised for social media - Good communicator who can work independently without handholding - Consistent and reliable on deadlines How to Apply Send a short message with a link to 2 or 3 examples of relevant past work. Please include your pricing structure for the two types of work described above. To shortlist candidates, I will be paying for a test edit using the same raw clip sent to each applicant.

WooCommerce Store Owner Needed — 1-Hour Paid Beta Test
I'm looking for ~10 WooCommerce store owners to test a new analytics plugin called Exanta AI before its public launch. What Exanta does, in one sentence: it lets you ask questions about your store in plain English (e.g. "What were my top sellers last month?" or "Which products have the highest return rate?") and instantly returns answers, charts, and the SQL behind them — no technical knowledge required. Want to see exactly what's involved before you apply? The 5-minute walkthrough is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1P_UEYaYSs What you'll do (60 minutes total): 1. Watch a 5-minute walkthrough video. 2. Register a free account at exanta.ai. 3. Download and install the plugin on your WooCommerce store (live or staging — your choice). 4. Run a one-time database structure scan (this only reads the shape of your database — table names and column names — never your actual data; details below). 5. Ask 5–10 questions about your store and review the answers. 6. Complete a short feedback questionnaire (about 10 minutes). What you get: £35 paid via PeoplePerHour on completion. Free Pro-tier access to the plugin (100 questions/month) for the full beta period. Requirements (must-haves) - You own or manage a WooCommerce store (v8 or higher). - At least 3 months of order history in the store (so the AI has something to analyse). - You can install a WordPress plugin (upload zip → activate) without help. - Reliable internet, a computer (not phone), and ~1 hour of uninterrupted time. Privacy & data — please read This is the bit that matters most, and I want to be upfront about it. The plugin connects to your WooCommerce database. During the one-time setup it generates a structural map of your database — table names, column names, and relationships. It does not copy, transmit, or store your actual customer, order, or product data during this step. When you ask a question, the question itself plus the database structure (no data) is sent to our backend, which writes a SQL query and runs it locally inside your WordPress install. The aggregated results — typically counts, totals, and averages — are then returned to you and logged on our side for product improvement. If you'd be more comfortable testing on a staging copy of your store, we strongly encourage that, but that staging store MUST have at least 3 months of data. A signed beta agreement covering this is provided when you accept. Deliverables To get paid, you need to: Successfully complete the install and run at least 5 questions through the plugin. Submit the feedback questionnaire with substantive answers (not single words). The most valuable feedback is in the open-text questions — please take the time to give thoughtful answers about what worked, what didn't, and what questions you'd want to ask if you used this every day. Report any bugs you encounter through the questionnaire or via PPH If something goes wrong during the test (an error, a step doesn't work), that's still useful — flag it in the questionnaire and you'll still get paid. I just need genuine engagement with the test, not a perfect run. A note on fees and payment The £35 fee is FIXED AND NON NEGOTIABLE. Please don't apply quoting a higher figure or planning to renegotiate after acceptance — those proposals will be skipped automatically and reported to PPH. Payment is processed exclusively through PeoplePerHour's escrow system. I will not pay via bank transfer, PayPal, crypto, or any other off-platform method, and I won't move communication off-platform either. This is for our mutual protection. How to apply In your proposal, please include: - The URL of your WooCommerce store (live or staging — staging is fine). - Your WooCommerce version and roughly how many orders per month you process. - Whether you have HPOS enabled (it's fine either way — both are supported). - A sentence or two on why you're interested. I'm prioritising applicants who give me enough information to confirm fit on the first message. Vague applications ("I'm interested, please send details") will be skipped — sorry, but with ~10 spots I need to filter quickly. Looking forward to your applications. — Mike

WordPress, Webflow, or another widely supported CMS is fine; just make sure I can edit pages, swap images, and roll the content forward each year without touching code. Please outline: • Your proposed tech stack or theme - we have our main website rqys.com.au which we can utilise • How you will make updates straightforward (custom fields, templates, or page builder) • Estimated timeline from kickoff to launch Once delivered, I’ll review the build, request any tweaks, then migrate it to our host and go live. Wix website & wix space app
I already have wix account and paid plan. Project Brief: Wix Website & Spaces App Development Project Overview: To develop a new website on the Wix platform (paid plan) and configure its companion Wix Spaces app. The primary goal is to centralize bookings, events, online courses, and a community hub, all within one seamless ecosystem. Designer/Developer Note (Branding): • Aesthetic: The site's visual design should be professional, mystical, spooky, and have a psychic/ethereal feel. • Tone of Voice: All customer-facing text (the website copy) should be written in a friendly, engaging, and "fun Scottish" style. Phase 1: Core Features (Must-Haves) These are the primary functionalities required for launch. 1. Homepage: • A clean, professional, and dynamic homepage. • Must include clear navigation and sections that direct users to the main areas (Bookings, Events, Courses, Groups). 2. Booking System (Wix Bookings): • Implement Wix Bookings to manage all client appointments. • Requirements: • Must support both "In-Person" and "Online" (via Google Meet integration) appointment types. • Must integrate with the Wix Member's Area and Spaces app so clients can see their upcoming bookings. • Note: The client currently uses Acuity (https://JohnSpratt.as.me/). • Migrate all services and availability from Acuity to the native Wix Bookings app for seamless integration. 3. Event Management (Wix Events): • Utilize the Wix Events app. • Requirements: • Allow the client to create and display upcoming events (e.g., workshops, live shows). • Include functionality for users to purchase tickets directly on the site. • Integrate with the Member's Area/Spaces app so users can see events they have registered for. 4. Online Courses (Wix Online Programs): • Set up the Wix Online Programs app. • Requirements: • Allow the client to create and sell multi-step online courses. • Users must be able to purchase, access, and track their progress through the courses. 5. Community Hub (Wix Groups): • Install and configure the Wix Groups app. • Requirements: • Allow the client to create various topic-based groups. • Allow members to join these groups, create posts, comment, and interact with other members. • This feature must be a primary component of the Wix Spaces app experience. 6. Homepage Announcements: • Create a section on the homepage that the client can easily update daily (e.g., "Daily Message"). • This could be a simple, styled text box or a dedicated database collection (Wix Content Manager) feeding into a repeater. 7. Unified Member's Area: • Create a custom Wix Member's Area that integrates all features. • Requirements: • When logged in (on site or via Spaces app), a member must be able to see: • Their upcoming appointments (from Wix Bookings). • Their purchased event tickets (from Wix Events). • Their enrolled courses (from Wix Online Programs). • Any notifications sent by the site admin. 8. Live Streaming & Notifications: • Embed the client's YouTube Live stream onto a dedicated page. • Crucial Requirement: Implement a system to send a push notification via the Wix Spaces app every time the client goes live on YouTube. • Developer Note: This may require a custom Velo solution or a workaround (e.g., client creates a 'Live Now' blog post which triggers the app notification). 9. "Quick Reply" Credit System (Custom Feature): • This is a custom-build requirement. • Functional Flow: • Store: Use Wix Stores to sell "Credit Packages" (e.g., "3 Credits for £10"). 1 Credit = 1 Mini-Reading. • Database: Use Wix Content Manager (Database) to create a collection that links to each member and tracks their current credit balance. • Messaging Portal: Create a private portal/form in the Member's Area where a user can "spend" a credit. When they send a message/question: • The system must check if their credit balance is > 0. • It must debit 1 credit from their balance. • The message is sent to the site admin (e.g., into a database collection, not Wix Chat). • Admin Reply: The client needs an admin-side dashboard to view these messages and send a reply, which is then visible to the member. Phase 2: Future Enhancements (Extras) These features are desired but can be implemented after the core site is live. 1. Daily Horoscopes: • Investigate and integrate a 3rd-party widget or API that automatically pulls in and displays free daily horoscopes. 2. Daily Tarot Card: • Similar to horoscopes, integrate a 3rd-party widget or API that allows a user to "draw" a daily tarot card. 3. AI Chatbot: • Integrate an AI chatbot (e.g., native Wix AI Bot or a 3rd-party service). • Requirement: The chatbot must be for "fun/entertainment only" and needs to be customizable to reply in a witty, direct, Scottish tone.

Arc GIS training for 2 members of our team
Hi, we are looking for someone who is expert in Arc GIS to help us with some internal training for 2 or 3 members of our team, online training is fine, and we would record the session for future reference back. We do a limited number of things in ArcGIS which creates the mapping for LVIAs as follows: - we create Site Context Plans of the project site we are looking at and a defined radius for residential developments, from 10 to 4,000 homes. We include datasets of designations, from government and local council websites. - we create topography plans for the same study area as above - we create landscape character plans which uses downloadable datasets and sometimes we have to draw the data if it is not available for the same study area as above - we create ZTVs and viewpoint location plans, using GPS points we have taken on site. So its training for creating the mapping, creating the sheets, downloading and importing the data, importing OS mapping, Its not complicated stuff, and some of it is already templated. but it is about helping the team to be confident with using GIS and giving them a good grounding into GIS. So I think perhaps training split into a couple of hours each session, over a course of sessions is probably the best way to train. We need good communicators who are experienced at training and explaining basics through to more complex ideas. I have included an example of mapping to give you a feel for what we produce for projects.

We are building a branded microsite that embeds Adobe Express to allow users to customize a predefined template and export their design. The experience will be used in a kiosk-style environment (iPad + browser), so the UI must be simple, controlled, and resilient. We are looking for a developer to implement a working MVP, with potential to extend into a production-ready deployment. Core Experience (What We’re Building) User flow: User lands on branded microsite Clicks “Start” → launches Adobe Express editor with a predefined template Edits design inside embedded Express experience A visible countdown timer runs during the session User clicks “Finish” System prompts for file name only (single input) File is exported and automatically uploaded to Dropbox System resets for next user Technical Requirements Frontend Build a responsive microsite (desktop + iPad Safari) Implement Adobe Express Embed SDK (v4) Launch a specific template directly (not template browser) Embed Express using inline container Create a branded wrapper UI Implement countdown timer (top corner) start / reset flow filename input modal (minimal UI) Handle SDK callbacks: onLoad onPublish onCancel onError Backend Create endpoint to: receive exported asset from frontend process file (likely base64/blob) upload to Dropbox Dropbox Integration One of the following approaches (you can recommend): Option A (Preferred): Direct upload to our Dropbox via API (OAuth + server-side upload) Option B: Use Dropbox Saver if appropriate Kiosk Behavior Auto-reset after submission or timeout Prevent user getting “stuck” in flow Clean UX for repeated use Must work reliably on iPad in browser (Safari) Deliverables Working microsite (frontend) Backend API (Node / serverless preferred) Adobe Express integration fully functional Dropbox upload working end-to-end Clean, minimal UI Basic error handling (network / export failures) Setup instructions + environment variables documented Tech Preferences Frontend: React, Next.js, or simple JS (open to recommendation) Backend: Node.js (Express / serverless functions) Hosting: Vercel / AWS / similar Clean, readable code (this may be extended later) Experience with: Adobe Express Embed SDK iframe-based app embedding kiosk / event experiences iPad testing experience Dropbox API familiarity Timeline MVP target: Fast turnaround preferred Budget Open to: Fixed price (preferred if scoped clearly) Hourly (with estimate) To Apply Please include: Relevant experience with: embedded SDKs or iframe apps file upload / export workflows Example projects (especially anything interactive or kiosk-style) Your proposed stack Estimated timeline and cost Any questions or suggested improvements to the architecture Notes This is not a generic website build — requires integration thinking We value clean UX and reliability over visual complexity Opportunity for follow-on work (admin controls, analytics, multi-template support)

AI Visual Inspection App for Cleaning & Property Setup
Título recomendado para la oferta: AI Visual Inspection App for Cleaning & Property Setup (iPhone + Android) Y el texto en inglés: We are looking for a programmer or small development team to create a very simple mobile app/web app for cleaning control and vacation rental property setup. The MOST IMPORTANT part of this project is AI image comparison. The main idea is that every room or area of the property has a “reference photo” showing exactly how it should look. After cleaning or setup, the staff takes a new photo with the phone, and the AI compares both images automatically to detect visual differences. Examples of what the AI should detect: * bed not properly made, * cushions/pillows not correctly positioned, * missing decorative objects, * missing items inside the fridge, * sunbeds not positioned correctly, * objects out of place, * messy areas, * visible missing items, * cleaning or presentation issues. The app should clearly show the detected differences, ideally highlighting them visually on the image or describing what is wrong. Basic workflow: 1. The administrator creates areas/zones of the property: kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, terrace, pool area, fridge, wardrobes, etc. 2. A reference photo is uploaded for each area. 3. Cleaning staff opens the app from their phone. 4. They go through each area step by step. 5. They take a new photo after finishing. 6. The AI compares the new image with the reference image. 7. The app indicates whether everything is correct or shows the detected differences. 8. A supervisor can review everything from another phone or computer. The app must work on both iPhone and Android, preferably as a web app or hybrid app. Very important: * Extremely easy to use. * Very visual interface. * Fast mobile experience. * Designed for non-technical cleaning staff. The first version can be simple and “homemade.” We mainly want to test the concept this summer in a real vacation rental property. If it works well, we plan to improve it later and potentially commercialize it. We are specifically looking for someone with experience in: * AI visual analysis, * image comparison, * computer vision, * object detection, * or similar technologies. Please include: * your relevant AI/image analysis experience, * recommended technologies, * estimated cost for a first working version, * estimated timeline, * and examples of similar projects if available.

Power Apps UX/UI Specialist – Matrix Interface
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Power Apps UX/UI specialist to assist with designing and developing a custom registration matrix interface within a Microsoft Power Platform solution. The platform is used to manage fund registrations across multiple jurisdictions and currently operates using Dataverse and model-driven apps. We require a more scalable and user-friendly matrix-style interface for operational users. The existing standard model-driven grid functionality has limitations with horizontal and vertical scrolling, freeze pane/fixed column behaviour, usability for large matrices, dynamic hiding/showing of columns, and overall UX when working with high-volume registration data. We are exploring a custom Canvas App, Custom Page, or PCF-style approach and are looking for someone with strong experience designing advanced Power Apps interfaces and data-driven matrix/grid layouts. Scope of Work The successful contractor will assist with designing a scalable matrix-style UI within Power Apps, creating a responsive scrolling interface, implementing fixed identifier columns (freeze-pane style behaviour), dynamically hiding columns where no data exists, improving usability for large datasets, advising on the best technical approach (Canvas App vs PCF vs Custom Page), working with Dataverse tables and relationships, supporting UX optimisation for operational users, and potentially implementing proof-of-concept components. The solution will need to support Funds, Sub-Funds, Share Classes, jurisdiction/registration locations, and registration statuses and dates. Technical Environment Current technology stack includes Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps, Power Apps Grid Control, JavaScript, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365. Experience with PCF Controls, React/TypeScript, advanced Canvas App design, responsive Power Apps layouts, complex Dataverse-driven interfaces, and grid or matrix-style UI implementations would be highly advantageous. Deliverables Initial engagement would focus on UX/UI review and recommendations, proposed technical approach, wireframe or mock-up design, working prototype/proof of concept, and recommendations for scalable implementation. There is potential for follow-on implementation work depending on outcome. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with strong experience in Power Apps UX/UI design who has built advanced/custom interfaces beyond standard model-driven forms, understands Dataverse architecture, can advise pragmatically on platform limitations, has experience building matrix/grid-style interfaces, and can demonstrate similar previous work. Additional Information This is a professional/legal services environment, so usability, scalability, and maintainability are important. We are not looking for a basic form redesign; the requirement is for a more sophisticated operational interface for managing large volumes of registration data efficiently.
