Description
Experience Level: Expert
Type: Freelance / trial basis to start (a few hours per week) Location: Remote Budget: Open – please submit your proposal and rate
About the role
I've developed specialist software for a very niche B2B market: school and nursery photography. The system works on a shared, multi-tenant model (similar in concept to Shopify) — photographers and studios use it to sell their photos online to parents.
There are only a handful of companies worldwide offering software built specifically for this market, and the target list in the UK is small and well-defined (roughly 600–800 photographers and studios, ranging from sole traders to multi-photographer companies). This isn't a mass cold-calling job — it's a focused, relationship-led campaign into a tight, identifiable market.
What I'm looking for
I need an experienced telemarketer to help book demo meetings with prospective clients (studio owners/decision-makers). You'll be calling from a defined, relatively short list rather than working through huge volumes, so quality of conversation matters more than call count.
To start, I'd like to run a small batch of test calls so we can both see how the approach lands and refine the pitch before scaling up.
What I'd like included in your proposal
Your experience with B2B/SaaS software telemarketing or appointment-setting
How you'd approach a niche, low-volume prospect list (vs. high-volume cold calling)
Your suggested process: research/warm-up, opening pitch, objection handling, and booking the demo
How you'd handle common objections (e.g. "we already use a competitor," "not looking to switch software," or "too busy right now / it's our busy season" — we offer full setup support to make switching low-effort, so overcoming this one matters)
Your proposed rate/structure (hourly, per meeting booked, or a fixed fee for an initial test batch)
Availability for a short call so I can walk you through the product, its USPs, and likely objections before you start
About the product (for context)
Built from 20+ years of hands-on experience in the school/nursery photography market
Sales performance comparable to one of the leading competitor products
Key differentiator: significant time savings — one existing studio is already saving 20% on staff time using the software, alongside a range of additional features competitors don't offer
We provide full setup support to get new studios onboarded, which helps overcome the "too busy to switch" objection common during their busy season
Ideal candidate
Proven experience selling or booking meetings for software/SaaS products, ideally B2B
Comfortable handling technical/feature-based objections after a short briefing
Organised and comfortable working from a defined prospect list rather than a script-and-dial-fast approach
Available for a trial run of a few hours a week to start, with scope to grow if it works well
If this sounds like a good fit, please get in touch with your relevant experience and how you'd approach this campaign.

Carl, good afternoon..
Ticking off all the boxes.
Ideally when do you need or want to launch the project?
Thanks.
PaulCarl A.38 minutes agoEssentially as soon as possible. Certainly within a week or 2. But I cannot wait months.
