Logo design and branding
THE ADELINE PROPERTY GROUP — LOGO DESIGN BRIEF The Business The Adeline Property Group is a premium residential property management and development company operating across London, the South East, and the South Coast. Two divisions: block management for RTM and RMC-led developments, and a property development arm operating a buy-refurbish-refinance model. The company is raising investment capital and positioning for significant growth as an institutional-grade property group. What The Brand Needs To Communicate Trust and competence above everything. Our clients are residential leaseholders who have volunteered to run their own management company — they are handing over control of their service charge budget, contractors, insurance, and compliance. They have almost always been let down before. The brand must reduce perceived risk before a single word is read. The positioning: big enough to deliver, small enough to care. Not a faceless national. Not a one-man band. The specific zone in between — boutique in service, institutional in standard. The secondary audience is property investors, who need to see a platform, not a lifestyle business. The same mark must work across both contexts. Brand Personality If Adeline were a person: a well-dressed, calm professional in his mid-thirties to mid-forties. Speaks clearly, doesn't oversell, follows up when he says he will, knows his subject inside out. Not flashy, not boring, not corporate, not casual. The person in the room everyone defers to — not because he demanded it, but because he earned it. The name Adeline is classical without being archaic, elegant without being decorative. The visual identity should carry the same qualities. Reserved. Precise. Quietly authoritative. Reference Points Cadogan Estate, Savills, Lee Baron. The common thread is restraint — marks that communicate authority through precision and proportion, not decoration or noise. The brand should feel at home in that company without imitating any of them. Logo Structure A combination mark: a standalone geometric "A" icon paired with a wordmark, plus an APG monogram as a third asset. The full system must work across formal document headers, building signage, digital platforms, email signatures, and investor materials — from 14px favicon to full site-board scale. The Icon A geometric "A" form. Architectural in character — precise, structural, balanced. Construction approach is open, but it must feel like it was drawn with purpose, not assembled from a font. It should carry weight without heaviness, read as considered at every scale, and look like none of the following: a tech company, a construction firm, a developer, an estate agent. The Wordmark "THE ADELINE PROPERTY GROUP." ADELINE is the anchor — it should carry the most visual presence. Open to a high-quality serif or geometric sans. The typeface must hold its own alongside the icon without competing with it. What To Avoid House outlines, rooflines, keys, or literal property imagery. Tech or fintech aesthetics. Ornamental flourishes. Thin weights that collapse at small sizes. Templates or logo generators. Gradients or effects that won't survive single-colour reproduction. The mark must work in black and white first. Deliverables Primary lockup (icon + full wordmark), icon only (A), APG monogram only, wordmark only, icon + APG lockup, APG + full wordmark lockup, horizontal and stacked variants where relevant. All in unlocked vector format, ready for colour application. No colour direction is being provided — present the mark in black and white first.

Rebuild WordPress – Clean Code - SEO/ No Shortcode Dependencies
Project Overview I have an existing WordPress site (inenergyltd.com) that has been experiencing ongoing issues with a page builder plugin that keeps deactivating. I need a complete rebuild using modern, clean development practices. The content should be migrated, but the technical foundation must be free from shortcode‑dependent page builders and built for performance, SEO, and long‑term stability. 1. Scope of Work Theme & Page Builder Use a lightweight, SEO‑friendly theme such as GeneratePress, Kadence, or Astra. Build pages with the native WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) and a lightweight block plugin like GenerateBlocks or Kadence Blocks. Do not use WPBakery, Elementor, or any other shortcode‑based page builder. 2. Content Migration Migrate all existing content (text, images, pages) from my current site into the new build. Ensure no legacy shortcodes remain. Preserve important URLs or set up 301 redirects to maintain SEO value and backlinks. 3. Plugins & Licensing List all plugins you will install. For any premium plugins, clearly state whether I will need to purchase my own license after launch and what the annual renewal costs are. I want to avoid any situation where the site breaks because a bundled license expires. 4. SEO & Performance Install and configure Rank Math SEO (or Yoast). Set up titles, meta descriptions, and schema markup (LocalBusiness, FAQ where applicable). Optimise images (WebP, lazy loading). Enable LiteSpeed Cache (my hosting uses LiteSpeed) with appropriate minification and optimisation. Aim for 80+ mobile score on Google PageSpeed Insights. 5. Testing & Handover Build on a staging site (my host, A2 Hosting, provides staging). Provide a full backup before launch. After launch, give me a list of all plugins used, their license status, and a brief guide for basic content updates. Include 30 days of post‑launch support for any issues. What to Include in Your Proposal Fixed price for the full scope (including content migration, SEO setup, and staging). Estimated timeline from start to launch. List of plugins you plan to use, noting any with ongoing license fees. Brief description of your approach to ensure the new site is fast, secure, and easy for me to update. About My Site Current site: inenergyltd.com (energy procurement consultancy) Content: Approximately 12 pages that includes a blog section (to be added later). Hosting: A2 Hosting with LiteSpeed Cache. Important Note I’ve had a poor experience with unstable page builders and plugins that deactivated themselves. I’m looking for a developer who values clean code, transparency about ongoing costs, and a reliable final product.

Extract blood test data from PDF documents that have been OCR'd
The objective is to build a structured blood test database that allows pathology results to be viewed, edited, filtered, and exported to Excel via a web-based HTML interface. The system stores results in a clean, standardised format so trends can be analysed accurately over time. Using AI-assisted OCR, I have built a local Python extraction pipeline that converts PDF pathology reports into machine-readable text and inserts structured data into a SQLite database. The majority of blood tests extract correctly, including canonical test name, result value, unit, and reference range. However, I have reached a specific technical issue with three markers: • CRP (C-reactive protein) • ESR • GLU (Glucose) The OCR output clearly contains the correct lines, and debug logs confirm they are processed. Yet no rows are inserted for these markers. The failure appears to occur between canonical matching, numeric extraction, or validation logic. Current System Architecture The system runs locally and consists of: • extraction_core_2.py (main engine) • Supporting modules for OCR preprocessing, lab dictionary building, regex matching, and validation • SQLite backend • Schema-driven canonical lab dictionary • Controlled fuzzy fallback logic • HTML viewer for results display and Excel export Pipeline flow: Convert PDF to image (pdf2image) Preprocess Run Tesseract OCR Clean and normalise text Match against canonical lab dictionary Extract: canonical test name numeric result unit reference range Validate Insert into SQLite The engine is deterministic and rule-based. The Specific Problem Example OCR line: CRP H 5.2 mg/L 0-5 OCR text is correct. NUMBER_PATTERN matches. The canonical dictionary contains the test. Yet: Inserted 0 rows from 0126251OrderReport_23B00006604_CRP.pdf Likely failure points include: • Canonical containment match failing due to normalisation • Flag tokens (“H”, “L”) interfering with numeric capture • Numeric extraction anchored incorrectly • Validation rejecting due to strict range formatting • Unit pattern mismatch (e.g. mmol/L) • Dictionary indexing issue • Match overridden by another lab name • Guard conditions too strict If validation fails, the row is rejected silently. All other panels extract correctly. The issue appears isolated. What Is Required This is not a rebuild. We do not want: • Re-architecture • Experimental AI guessing logic • Large-scale changes • Expanded fuzzy matching We need: 1. Precise Diagnosis Identify exactly where CRP, ESR, and GLU are failing insertion and which rule is causing rejection. 2. Minimal Safe Fix Implement a targeted correction that: • Adjusts canonical matching if required • Anchors numeric extraction correctly • Allows flag tokens without blocking capture • Relaxes only necessary validation checks • Preserves deterministic behaviour 3. Zero Regression • No impact to currently working panels • No performance degradation • No uncontrolled fuzzy expansion 4. Modular Implementation If appropriate: • Implement as small isolated module or • Cleanly adjust matching block The existing architecture should remain intact. Constraints The system is designed to be: • Deterministic • Schema-driven • Reproducible • Forensic-grade We cannot introduce probabilistic or unpredictable behaviour. Longer-Term Goal After stabilising extraction: • Migrate to web deployment • Enable structured uploads • Add trend analysis • Later incorporate AI-assisted interpretation Immediate priority: Stabilise deterministic extraction for CRP, ESR, and GLU without breaking the existing engine. Materials Provided Uploaded: • Full extraction_core_2.py (text format) • Screenshot of HTML viewer • Sample PDF files • Export showing required output Additional materials available on request: • Sample OCR blocks • Canonical dictionary entries • Regex patterns • Validation logic • Database schema • Debug logs This is a focused debugging and refinement request. I have spent many hours attempting to isolate the issue and now require an experienced developer to identify the blocking condition and implement a practical fix. I have been advised this should take 1–2 hours for a senior developer. Looking for a swift turnaround.
