Colour banding fix, posterisation fix, masking for short film

Objectives * The objective of this project is to tidy-up some of the scenes in a short film. Deliverables * To remove or reduce banding in some shots. To remove or reduce posterisation in other shots. And to mask a small object in a couple of other shots. If anything else is spotted during the ‘clean-up’ then we can take a view as to whether it is distracting enough to warrant a tidy up. This may include some colour grading to match existing shots once banding issues etc have been resolved. Timescale * To begin as soon as possible. This should hopefully not be a long process, but it would be important to ‘walk through’ the video with a view to picking up on any other spurious challenges. Much of the video is fine, but when it’s not fine, it is quite noticeable - particularly (as you might imagine) on larger screens. Hopefully everything should be easily completed within a week after the ‘walkthrough’. Spec * Editing to be done in Final Cut Pro if possible. That’s not absolutely essential. However any rendered file would need to be able to be imported and also edited in Final Cut Pro. Files should be rendered in 4k, highest bit rate possible. The file to be edited has already had some grading done. It’s not pro res footage. Context * This is a short zero budget Indie Film. Music, soundscape and pro audio have yet to be added. I’d like to do that after this work is done. The film itself is mystery/spooky/metaphorical and would probably be rated as no more than PG if it were in such a classification system. N.B. Re the aforementioned ‘walkthrough’, I would really like to talk through the film (which is circa 10 mins long) whilst pointing out what is specifically required. To that end, someone based in the Central Belt of Scotland would be preferred. Not absolutely essential but I think things would be smoother, easier, more straightforward that way. Yes that might mean meeting in a cafe and going over it. I’ll buy the coffee. And of course more details are available if required. Thank you

I am looking for someone to edit our weekly podcasts. They need to have the following skills: 1. Good story telling - we will provide the podcast content on a weekly basis, they then need to pick out the best moments and create 3 - 5 teasers lasting 30 - 50 seconds. They need to select appropriate sound effects or music dependent on what has been said by the guest. Eg if something is sad, then sad music, if funny then funny sound effects or music to suit. Also on occasion include images that reference what is being said by guest. Along with the teaser, the final podcast in full. Currently our podcasts are plain and straightforward, with an intro and outro, no further sound effects or graphics, which we now want to introduce to make our podcasts more engaging. Videographer for charity awards dinner in Glasgow

We are holding a charity awards dinner for military veterans on 28 January in Glasgow and would like a videographer to attend the event to capture various parts of the evening and then edit them into a short highlights video. Ambience images needed for online shop. Item: Crucifixes

We have a small online shop in Germany. We have new items and need some atmospheric photos to go with them. The items are marble crucifixes. There are six models that can be hung on a wall and six models that can be stood up. We would like to have two different images of each model showing the cross in a domestic setting. For example, above the door or next to the bed on the nightstand. That makes 12 images: 6 of the hanging models and 6 of the standing models. All crucifixes also come in four different sizes. The hanging model is available in heights of 14, 20, 26 and 35 cm. The standing model is available in heights of 10.5, 16, 22 and 28 cm. The sizes of the crosses should therefore be taken into account in the ambient images on a roughly true-to-scale basis. This means there are 2 different ambient images per model x 12 different models (6 of which are standing, 6 of which are hanging) x 4 sizes per cross model. This involves a significant amount of copy and paste work. All files should come as jpg in 2000x2000 resolution. We look forward to receiving your offers.
