Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for an experienced SolidWorks engineer to review an existing 3D part model and 2D drawing for reasonable engineering and manufacturing requirements.
The review will cover:
Dimensions, tolerances, and critical geometry
Material specifications
Surface finish, passivation, and coating requirements
Consistency between the model and drawing
Title block, revision, and drawing information
Any missing or unclear engineering details
The first task is to review one part and its associated drawing, identify issues, and make necessary updates. Additional parts may follow based on the quality of the initial work.
Requirement: Commercial SolidWorks license with the ability to edit and save files.

-

Do you have a specific manufacturing process (CNC, sheet metal, casting) in mind that the tolerances should be validated against?
-

Are the drawings intended to follow ASME Y14.5 or ISO GPS conventions, and do you already have company standards for general tolerances, surface finish, passivation, and coating callouts?
