Direct Booking Website Development for Short Term Rental
I operate a single location short term rental. It is currently listed on Airbnb and VRBO. I would like to have a website designed for direct booking in addition to those two platforms. Key features: • Ease of use for guests I'd like something simple, with lots of pictures of the home and that is easily navigable by prospective guests. The fewer pages the better - Maybe a home page, a page with photos of the home and property, a page with house rules and terms maybe and then a booking page? I'm not sure the easiest design for this and will rely on your expertise and recommendations. • Booking calendar integration or communication with the other platforms Right now VRBO and Airbnb calendars are "linked" so that I can't end up with double bookings. I also have VRBO set to request only while Airbnb is set for instant booking. Guests visiting this site need to be able to see dates that are and are not available obviously. I'm looking for someone experienced who has done this type of website build in the past. I know nothing about the process or things like collecting the sales tax, etc, so I need someone with expertise in this. PRICE IS JUST A PLACEHOLDER - I don't have any solid numbers in mind.

We are developing a psychological horror game titled "Coffee and Paranoia", set in a mundane urban world that gradually unravels into unsettling paranoia and VHS-styled distortion. The story follows an office worker whose routine morning coffee stop triggers a series of subtle, escalating anomalies centered around a mysterious barista named Elise. As the day progresses, reality becomes increasingly unstable, blending ordinary environments with brief, disturbing visual and audio glitches that hint at something far more sinister. We are seeking a designer to create a logo that captures the contrast between everyday normalcy and creeping psychological horror, ideally reflecting themes of coffee culture, surveillance-like unease, and fragmented reality.

I need a one-page website replicating on Squarespace
We're buying a business, due to complete on 1 July (therefore the absolute deadline for this task) and it comes with a website. The site isn't currently built on Squarespace but we'd like it to be, so that we can make changes to it ourselves without bothering our SEO people who would otherwise be the ones we'd ask. I can't give the domain of the site out at this stage as it's confidential until completion - but of course I will supply this to whomever I end up working with. For now, I asked Grok to summarise the site, for your information: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Word count target: Approximately 650-750 words of main body copy (excluding headings, CTAs, and testimonials). The content is straightforward, professional, and benefit-focused, with a warm, approachable tone. Number of graphics: Very low — likely 2-4 total visual elements (including logo). The site is extremely minimalistic and text-heavy. KEY STRUCTURAL FACTS - Homepage layout: Single long-scrolling page (one-page site structure). No complex multi-page navigation. - Header/Navigation: Simple top header with business name/logo and basic menu (Home, Services, About, Contact). - Clean design with no mega-menus or dropdowns. - Hero Section: Prominent headline with a subheadline and clear "Get in Touch" call-to-action button. Minimal or no background image. MAIN SECTIONS (in order) - About / Introduction - Company overview, years in business, family-run background, local focus, and range of clients from sole traders to larger companies. - Services Broken into 3-4 clear subsections with short descriptions and bullet lists: New Business Support (setup guidance, registrations) Regular / Ongoing Accounting Tasks (payroll, VAT, accounts preparation, etc.) - Additional Services (self-assessment, registered office, specialist reviews) - Testimonials Section titled "What our customers think" — 3-4 short quotes with client names / business types. Contact Includes contact form, phone numbers, full address, and privacy note. - Footer: Basic contact info plus links to Privacy and Cookies policies. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I don't know how clear the above makes it! But we don't need anything spectacular in terms of SEO or anything - and images etc can be lifted from the original site. When whoever does this job is doing it, they will be able to basically (which is what we need) copy it. For context, I (an accountant with no creativity or web design skill) would be able to do this on Squarespace in probably half a day, so hopefully what I'm asking for is nice and simple for someone who uses it anyway. As always when I post a job on here, the budget is purely to be able to submit the job - it has no relation to what I'm expecting to pay (which may be higher or lower!). Thanks

What we are looking for: • ideas for layout and flow • furniture positioning • lighting suggestions • colour/material direction • ways to make the house feel calmer, warmer and more connected • possibly some visual concepts or moodboards We would also like to keep and incorporate some of the furniture we already have, rather than replacing everything completely. What we really need is a proper flow and harmony throughout the space. Style wise, we love modern but warm interiors with personality. Natural textures, cosy luxury, interesting details and spaces that feel inviting rather than ultra minimal. Please send examples of previous work if possible. Thank you!
