** A few quick questions:
1. Has the new website brand system already been finalized (fonts, colors, UI direction), or will brochure styling help define some of those standards as well?
2. Approximately how many pages are expected for the corporate brochure and the larger technical brochure variants?Tim P.4:05amYes, the styling for the website has been decided, I will forward the branding guidelines prior to the commencement of the project.
I have included estimated page counts for all the brochures in the overview document, the estimates are: Corporate brochure 20 - 24 pages, and the O-ring Technical Brochure 24 - 28.
Anuradha G.4:50amPerfect, thank you for the clarification.
The page ranges sound very well structured, and having the branding guidelines before kickoff will definitely help align the brochure designs with the new website direction seamlessly.
I believe it would be great to schedule a short meeting before we begin so we can discuss the visual direction, content hierarchy, expectations, and overall creative approach in detail. That will help ensure we are fully aligned from the start and allow the project to move smoothly and efficiently.

Do you need this in Adobe InDesign, or would Adobe Illustrator also work?
Tim P.3:43amWe could accept either, however, our preference would be Adobe Indesign
-

For the first brochure phase (Corporate, O-Rings and Gaskets), would you like the visual system and template framework approved first before full rollout, or should the first brochure be treated as the master design benchmark that the remaining brochure families will follow?
Tim P.3:39amI think it would be best to produce a master example first and use that as the benchmark for the remaining brochure families.
Gabriel A.5 hours agoThanks, Tim.
That makes sense. I’ll treat the first brochure as the master benchmark and use it to define the visual system, layout structure, and overall design direction for the remaining brochure families.
I’ll prepare the first brochure accordingly and share it for review before applying that framework across the rest. -

1. For the sister company variants, do you anticipate needing a "Global Styles" setup in InDesign where a single click swaps the primary brand colours and logos across the entire suite?
2. For the technical O-ring brochures, will the engineering tables be provided as clean Excel/CSV data for me to style natively, or are they existing complex graphics?
3. Beyond print-ready files, should the digital PDFs include interactive elements like "Call to Action" buttons that link directly to product SKUs on your new website?
4. Since these icons will also live on the website, should the aesthetic lean toward minimalist line-art for web clarity, or technical/isometric styles for part identification?
Please answer the following questions and hire me. I am ready to start working on it.Tim P.3:35am
Yes for the sister company variants, we do anticipate a Global style, with just a change of colours and logo.
We would provide the data in and Excel/CSV data for you to style.
I think including CTA’s in the digital brochures is a great idea, therefore something we should absolutely consider.
Yes, the icons would lean towards minimalist line art, so they can be replicated on the website.

Hi Tim, could you confirm which brochure should act as the first approved style reference for the marketing-led direction, Corporate, O-rings or Gaskets, and whether the first approval is expected on sample page layouts before full artwork production, or only once complete print-ready brochure files are supplied?
Tim P.Thu 11:52amHi
We would envisage agreeing the design concept prior to full artwork production, so the initial approval would be based on sample page layouts and the overall marketing-led direction rather than waiting for complete print-ready brochure files.
I would suggest that the O-rings brochure would be the first for design approval.
Thanks
TimEight Veer LtdThu 12:28pmThanks Tim, that sounds right.
We’ll start with the O-rings brochure as the first design approval piece, focused on sample page layouts and the overall marketing-led direction before full artwork production.
When would you ideally like to start this? -

What is your timeframe for this project?? Would you like if I can complete it within a couple of days ?
Tim P.Thu 11:47amThe timeframe is included on the brief, and is staggered.
Jahan Z.Thu 12:50pmThat's perfectly align, before proceeding, would you mind if we can have a discussion on entire project ??
-

Should the brochures lean more toward a clean, marketing-led feel that simplifies decisions, or a more detailed technical layout that engineers can deeply rely on?
Tim P.Thu 10:49amThe brochures are to be marketing led.
Azqaa DesignsThu 11:26amFrom your brief, I understand this is not just brochure design but building a scalable editorial system across multiple product lines including both marketing and technical variations.
