Hey, I'm looking for someone to help me out with general personal life admin, online shopping, organising contractors, email/task triage, bills, calendar organisation, etc. I am an AI researcher at a startup and an amateur pianist and am looking to reclaim some time for my work, hobby and social/personal life. German Translator for US Tea Brand

Cascade Leaf Tea Co., a specialty tea company based in Portland, Oregon, is preparing to sell into the German market and needs our customer-facing content translated from English into German. Machine translation with light editing will not work here: tea terminology is specific, and clumsy wording on a product page reads as amateurish to exactly the customers we are trying to reach. The work covers around one hundred and eighty product descriptions of forty to ninety words each, navigation and category labels, and a set of service emails covering orders, shipping and returns. As you go, we would like you to build a short bilingual glossary of recurring terms — tea types, brewing vocabulary, flavor descriptors — so our wording stays consistent and we can reuse it later. Two points on the content. Product names and specific blend names stay in English and are not translated. And where a description touches on the character of a tea, keep it faithful to the source and do not introduce health or wellness claims that are not in the original; these are regulated and we do not make them. We will provide the finalized English source and product photographs for context, and a contact who can answer questions about the products. To be considered, please confirm you are a native German speaker, share relevant translation samples, ideally in food, drink or consumer product content, and confirm your rate per word or a fixed project price along with your availability. We are looking to build an active and engaged social media presence across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook from the ground up and are looking for a talented video editor to be a key part of that growth from day one. We are not sharing the brand name at this stage — shortlisted candidates will receive full brand details, guidelines and briefing materials before work commences. **The opportunity:** This is not just an editing role. We are looking for someone who understands how to build a following on short-form video platforms — someone who knows what makes content stop the scroll, what formats are gaining traction right now and how to grow an audience from a standing start. If you have helped a brand grow its social presence and can demonstrate that with real examples we want to hear from you. **What we will provide:** We will supply raw video footage of our products, recipes, serving suggestions and behind-the-scenes content. Footage will be provided one week in advance so you have sufficient time to plan, edit and schedule content without working under daily pressure. You will receive this footage and turn it into polished, platform-ready short-form videos ready for posting. **What we need you to do:** Edit raw footage into short-form social media videos optimised for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook. We require one finished video posted to each of the three platforms every day — three posts per day in total. Each video should be formatted correctly for the specific platform including aspect ratio, length and technical specifications. Write or suggest caption copy, hashtags and messaging to accompany each video — warm, bold, joyful and food-focused in tone. React, Node Postgress Developer

We have a software project that is almost complete, but unfortunately the original developer has become unresponsive, leaving us unable to launch. The project is based around the board game **Backgammon**, which is also played online. Serious players analyse their matches using software called **Extreme Gammon (XG)**. Currently, every move from a match must be entered manually into XG, which is extremely time-consuming. Our platform, 'BackgammonAnalyst.com', aims to automate this process. Users upload a completed match, the software reads and reconstructs the game, and generates an output that can be imported into XG for analysis, dramatically reducing the time and effort required. From our assessment, there are relatively few changes remaining on the desktop version, with a little more work required on the mobile web version. However, we have not yet seen the software fully working, either via a live demonstration or a comprehensive video. We have our own server infrastructure and a dedicated server administrator. The first task would be to assess whether all source code has been deployed correctly, review the current state of the project, and thoroughly test the application to identify any remaining issues before completing the outstanding work. The product was scheduled to launch this coming Friday/Saturday. We appreciate this is ambitious, but if the remaining work is genuinely limited, there may still be an opportunity to meet, or come very close to, that target.
