Your mission You’ll join our UI Engineering team and take ownership of full-stack projects that power our adtech ecosystem. This isn’t just about coding – it’s about collaboration, technical ownership, and making an impact. Here’s what your day might look like: Build and maintain modern React frontends and Node.js APIs with TypeScript. Design and implement REST or GraphQL APIs that scale efficiently. Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product owners to translate requirements into elegant solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code – with automated tests as a natural part of your workflow. Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices – we value opinions backed by experience. Your skills 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack JavaScript development. Deep knowledge of Node.js (framework e.g. Koa, Express or Fastify), TypeScript, React and modern web architectures. Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL or SQL Server), including database design, SQL querying, and REST API development (GraphQL is a plus). A strong sense of code quality with mandatory hands-on experience in testing, including frameworks such as e. g. Jest, Vitest, or Node’s built-in testing framework – Clean design and automated tests are not optional. Bonus points for experience with: AWS, Jenkins, Grafana, Graylog, Confluence, Jira, Shell scripting

Logo Design for new Dog Walking & Pet Service Business

Hi there. This is for my mother's new business project. She's look for a logo design that can be used on: new website, local business cards and larger Vinyl for her Van. The company is called 'Not Just Dog Walking'. The service she will offer is dog walking as well as other pet services. However for the logo she would just like 'Home Visits' and 'Pets to Vets' called out. We ran simple idea through AI, but this is not what she is after, so please don't use for basis - i.e. she does not want a block background... but she was just trying to throw whats in her head at it. However it is useful for colour pallet, as would like Darker Green and Dark Grey (note the Van is Silver, have added a pic for reference) so would want to look good against that, and the wording is what she wants included. Just some other context, she lives quite remote countryside of Sussex. Although dogs will be the bread and butter of the business, she will offer pet servies for dogs, cats, birds, parrots, rabbits, etc. Hopefully you can help with some more modern design but in-keeping with the type of business. She's not looking for too much going on or pics of dogs, etc. Something a bit slicker.

Brand identity for Axenara, web studio for hosts and creators

We're Axenara, a web studio that works across hosting, design, development, and consultancy. We host websites, build websites and apps, advise on web services, and manage them once they're live. We also do work for streamers and content creators, and we're heading toward releasing our own web apps too. Our clients range from individuals and creators to small businesses and larger companies. We're rebranding from scratch, alongside rebuilding our web services, and looking for a designer to shape the whole identity with us. The core idea is that Axenara takes the hard parts of the internet off our clients' hands, so they can focus on what they do best. We want a brand that feels warm but capable, modern but not trend-chasing, confident without shouting. The closest reference point is Monzo. They took a category (banking) that everyone assumed had to be cold and corporate, and made it feel human and likeable. The hosting and web services category has the same problem, full of identical blue-and-grey companies, and we want to do for it what Monzo did for banking. Stripe, Linear, and Notion all live in the same neighbourhood as what we're after. One of the things we care about most is that the identity can stretch. We do a lot of different things, and we're about to do more of them. The same brand needs to feel right on an enterprise hosting invoice, on a streamer's overlay, on the home screen icon for one of our own SaaS apps, and on a business card we hand to a small business owner. We're not looking for one fixed logo so much as a system that has a clear core but knows how to flex, whether that's through variants, sub-marks, colour, or something we haven't thought of. We'd love to work with someone who finds that kind of system challenge interesting rather than tedious. A few hard constraints. No blue (the whole category defaults to it and we want out). No generic tech imagery, clouds, servers, globes, swooshes, circuit lines. Beyond that we're genuinely open, and we'd rather see something unexpected than something safe. We're looking for the full identity package: logo and its variants, colour, typography, and enough guidance for us to apply it consistently going forward.
