Civil Claim

I am a secure tenant of a registered social housing provider, at a property in , Kent, where I have lived since November 2010. In May 2024, a previous County Court claim afor housing disrepair was settled by way of a Tomlin Order, without admission of liability. That settlement covered issues up to May 2024 only. Since the settlement, further disrepair has occurred, along with what I believe is a breach of the settlement's own terms. I have also experienced a pattern of inconsistent and harassing treatment — including situations where the landlord has taken swift, formal legal action against me over minor issues while leaving comparable problems caused by their own contractors, or by other residents, unaddressed for extended periods. One example: I was left without a working fridge freezer for over 14 months (October 2024 to January 2026), despite more than 30 emails and escalation to director level, before it was finally replaced. I am also affected by ongoing personal injury and psychiatric injury arising from the prolonged disrepair and its impact on my health and my household, which includes a disabled child. What action I would like to take: I want to bring a civil claim covering the breach of the 2024 Tomlin Order, the disrepair and harassment since that settlement, and the related personal injury and psychiatric injury. I would like to understand the strength of this claim before deciding how to proceed with issuing proceedings.

We have a software project that is almost complete, but unfortunately the original developer has become unresponsive, leaving us unable to launch. The project is based around the board game **Backgammon**, which is also played online. Serious players analyse their matches using software called **Extreme Gammon (XG)**. Currently, every move from a match must be entered manually into XG, which is extremely time-consuming. Our platform, 'BackgammonAnalyst.com', aims to automate this process. Users upload a completed match, the software reads and reconstructs the game, and generates an output that can be imported into XG for analysis, dramatically reducing the time and effort required. From our assessment, there are relatively few changes remaining on the desktop version, with a little more work required on the mobile web version. However, we have not yet seen the software fully working, either via a live demonstration or a comprehensive video. We have our own server infrastructure and a dedicated server administrator. The first task would be to assess whether all source code has been deployed correctly, review the current state of the project, and thoroughly test the application to identify any remaining issues before completing the outstanding work. The product was scheduled to launch this coming Friday/Saturday.
