18 days ago112 proposalsRemoteFull-Stack Developer for UK Pub Rating & Review Platform
## The Pub Index – UK Pub Rating & Review Platform I am looking for a full-stack web developer to build the first version of **The Pub Index**, a new UK pub discovery and rating platform. I currently have my own database of pubs that I have personally visited and rated in Excel. I now want to develop this into a scalable website where people can discover pubs, view my official Pub Index ratings and reviews, create accounts and submit their own ratings. The website will initially focus on England but should be built so it can eventually expand throughout the UK. ### Two Separate Rating Systems A key requirement is keeping these completely separate: **1. The Pub Index Rating** My own editorial rating for pubs I have personally visited and reviewed. This includes an overall score, category scores and written review. **2. Community Rating** Ratings submitted by registered website users. For pubs I haven't personally reviewed, the page could show: **Pub Index Rating: Not Yet Rated** **Community Rating: 7.8/10 (42 ratings)** ### England-Wide Pub Database I do not want to manually create thousands of individual pub pages. I need a scalable database containing pubs throughout England. I am open to recommendations regarding the most appropriate legally usable pub/location data source or API. Each pub should ideally have its own automatically generated page containing information such as name, town/city, county and postcode. I also need the ability to manually add or edit pubs. ### Website Features Version 1 should ideally include: * Homepage * Searchable/browsable pub database * Individual pub pages * Official Pub Index ratings and reviews * Separate community ratings * User registration/login * Ability for registered users to rate pubs * Automatic community rating calculation * Rankings (Best Overall, Beer Garden, Service, Value etc.) * Search/filtering by pub/location * Mobile-friendly design * About/How We Rate section Users should eventually be able to browse geographically, e.g.: **England → Surrey → Reigate → Pub** ### Admin System This is very important. I am not a web developer, so I need a simple admin area where I can: * Add/edit pubs * Enter my official ratings * Add/edit reviews * Update pub information * Manage community content/users * Mark pubs as officially reviewed My existing ratings are stored in Excel, so I would also like to initially import this data from Excel/CSV if practical. ### Scalability The website should be database-driven rather than manually creating individual pages. It should be capable of eventually supporting thousands of pubs and leave room for future features such as photos, favourites, pub-owner profiles, achievements, personalised recommendations, social features and potentially a mobile app. These additional features **do not need to be built in Version 1**. ### Ownership I need to retain ownership/control of the website, source code, database, domain and associated accounts. Third-party hosting/database/API accounts should ideally be created under my ownership so I am not permanently dependent on one developer. ### Your Proposal Please explain: 1. What technology you would recommend and why. 2. How you would create/source the England-wide pub database. 3. How the user account and community rating system would work. 4. How I would manage pubs and ratings myself after launch. 5. Your estimated development time. 6. Expected ongoing hosting/API costs. 7. Any additional costs I should be aware of. **Please also provide examples of previous directory, review, marketplace or database-driven websites you have developed.** My priority is building a strong, scalable Version 1 rather than trying to include every possible feature immediately.

About T3 T3 is an award-winning AI implementation partner for high-risk industries. We support the adoption of trustworthy AI across the entire lifecycle. We design and engineer bespoke AI controls, conduct adversarial red teaming on models and AI systems, and implement end-to-end AI governance operating models, aligned to standards we helped write such as the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI RMF. About the Role We are building a new tool: a platform connecting AI safety, security and governance talent with organisations that need them, alongside a flow for organisations to request AI safety evaluations from T3. Figma designs and user flows are complete and approved. We need an experienced full-stack developer to implement those designs as a working, production-ready product: front end, back end and a simple database. Please still quote your day rate so we can assess value. Technical approach Our current website runs on WordPress. We are open on how the new tool is built: a headless or custom stack (React / Next.js), WordPress with appropriate plugins, Webflow, or another approach you can justify. What matters is that it is genuinely functional, maintainable by others after handover, and not fragile. Tell us what you would use and why, including hosting and database. 22 days ago60 proposalsRemoteUK Construction Business Development Specialist
Sphere Construction Partnership is seeking an experienced, UK-based business development and lead-generation specialist to establish and maintain a consistent pipeline of suitable construction opportunities. We are an established construction company operating across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and surrounding areas. Our work includes domestic extensions, conversions, renovations and new builds, together with commercial, industrial and property-maintenance projects. This is not simply a list-building or data-entry assignment. We require someone who can research genuine opportunities, identify and contact decision-makers, develop relationships, qualify enquiries and arrange meetings, surveys or tender opportunities. Key responsibilities will include: • Identifying suitable live construction projects, planning applications and tender opportunities • Contacting architects, quantity surveyors, building surveyors, developers and property professionals • Approaching landlords, letting agents, property managers and organisations with property portfolios • Developing relationships with commercial clients and professional referrers • Identifying subcontract, framework and overflow opportunities from larger contractors • Contacting prospective clients by telephone and personalised email • Following up previous quotations and dormant enquiries • Qualifying each opportunity by scope, location, budget, timescale and decision-making authority • Maintaining an accurate CRM or shared pipeline • Providing a concise weekly activity and results report The successful freelancer must: • Be based in the United Kingdom • Have proven business-development, outbound-sales or appointment-setting experience • Ideally have experience within construction, property, building materials, facilities management or a related sector • Be confident making professional telephone calls to UK businesses • Have excellent written and spoken English • Be commercially aware and able to distinguish genuine opportunities from unsuitable or speculative enquiries • Be organised, persistent and comfortable working to measurable targets Applicants should explain: Their relevant construction, property or B2B sales experience How they would generate opportunities for Sphere during the first four weeks Which organisations and decision-makers they would target Examples of opportunities or appointments they have previously generated Their hourly rate and weekly availability Whether they are personally carrying out the work or using a team We propose an initial four-week trial of approximately 15 hours per week. If the trial produces a credible, properly qualified pipeline, this can develop into a substantial ongoing role and potentially a permanent position. Success will be measured by meaningful decision-maker conversations, qualified opportunities, meetings, surveys and tender invitations—not merely the number of names collected or emails sent. Please do not apply if your service consists solely of selling pre-existing lead lists, scraping generic contact details or sending high-volume automated emails.
19 days ago10 proposalsRemoteReact / Next.js Front End Developer — Remote
We're building the new web version of our product and are looking for an experienced front-end developer to lead and support the rollout. You'll work primarily in React and Next.js, building the interfaces our customers use every day. The frontend integrates with a SQL Server database via a C# API — you won't be modifying the API or database directly, but you'll need to understand relational data and work comfortably against existing APIs. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build and maintain UI features in React / Next.js - Consume and integrate with an existing C# REST API - Translate designs and requirements into performant, accessible, responsive interfaces - Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code review - Collaborate with the wider team (and any backend/API developers) to flag issues, edge cases, or data needs WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 3-5+ years of professional front-end development experience - Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js (App Router / SSR / routing/data fetching patterns) - Solid JavaScript fundamentals; TypeScript experience strongly preferred - Strong HTML5 and modern CSS skills - Comfortable working with relational databases conceptually (you won't write SQL day-to-day, but should understand schemas, joins, and how data is structured) - Experience consuming REST APIs built by another team (ideally including .NET/C# APIs, but not essential) - Good communication skills — able to work async/remote and flag blockers early NICE TO HAVE - Experience with a component library/design system - Automated testing experience (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress) - Familiarity with CI/CD and Git-based workflows - Experience in construction, CRM, or B2B SaaS products LOGISTICS - Fully remote HOW TO APPLY When you apply, lead with relevant experience; tell me how you've shipped React or Next.js apps that tracked complex regional data and how you kept performance sharp. Links to repos or live products speak louder than a polished proposal.
24 days ago93 proposalsRemoteIntegrate Automated Quoting to our Framer Website
We are looking for a developer to complete a one-off project (with the possibility of a few follow-up refinements) to automate our website quotation process. Currently, customers submit a quote request, which is then reviewed manually and priced by our team. We would like this process to be automated so that customers receive an instant estimate based on the information they provide. The system should: - Capture all relevant property and contact information so we can follow up with the customer. Automatically generate and display an estimated fee immediately after the form is completed. - Include a "Proceed with Estimate" button, allowing the customer to confirm they would like to proceed with the quoted estimate. - Notify us once the customer has submitted the request an estimate, and also once they have accepted the estimate so we can carry out a final review. In most cases, we expect to honour the estimated price, although we would like the ability to make adjustments if the information provided requires it. This should be a relatively straightforward project for an experienced web developer. Thanks.
