Social Media Support - French Speaker
Hi! We're looking for someone to assist us with delivering all aspects of social media for one of our clients. It's a B2C client setting up a self-storage business in the south of France. We need someone who is fluent in French, who can primarily assist our social media manager (who will oversee all work) with providing community management as well as a translation service and posting content - mostly this will be Facebook and Instagram but we might also use LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter (I just cannot yet call it X...!), Threads... We also need to think about promotions, polls, etc. but we are unlikely to wish to invest in social advertising as this is such a niche need. We will ask you to find ambassadors/influencers if possible, and we will also want you to look at what the competitors are doing, and follow their followers, that sort of thing, just be a bit disruptive and get the word out as much as possible. The company will be talking about mental health related issues too in all probability, perhaps financially supporting local charities and causes operating in this area. I don't mind where you are located, but it would probably be better if you are located in France. If not in France, then in a similar time zone to the UK/France +/- 2 hours or so. I see this as being a really important position as I think the right person could make a huge difference to the success of social media in driving sales and raising awareness. This individual will be leading the charge in connecting with our audience and creating a positive impact in the wellness and nutrition space. ● Working alongside the Media Managers, you will be part of the team that plans and maps out content for GOE Wellness branded social media channels. ● Engage in timely, on-brand conversation with our online audiences in real time ● Monitor and drive user generated content (UGC) ● Provide community management throughout the week across branded social media pages. ● Manage our Email Marketing using Get Response - would be helpful if you have knowledge of building landing pages. ● Provide the social media team with updates on content performance and conversation within the community in our daily team meetings. ● Manage our Facebook group communities - Forthcoming wellness facebook group ● Apply appropriate tone of voice while ensuring the brand values are reflected in communication and interaction with customers via all channels ● Contribute creative ideas and community insight to the wider team to inform the planning upcoming moments on social media ● Spotting, categorising and managing a list of potential influences/key fans ● Continually monitor trends on social media platforms and bring ideas and recommendations to the social media team and wider content teams where appropriate. ● Follow the Crisis Management Process and in a timely manner highlight complaints to Senior Social Media Manager and relevant teams. ● Passing specific customer complaints to the relevant teams in the business Requirements: ● At least 3-4 years experience managing a large online community ● 1-2 years of experience in email marketing ● Solid experience using Sprout Social Management tools ● Solid knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Tiktok ● Solid understanding of platform backends inc. Facebook business manager, twitter studio etc ● A good knowledge of nutrition, wellness and fitness ● Excellent written/communication skills ● Great organisational skills as there are multiple platforms to manage ● Understanding and knowledge of what types of content create conversations, and what content works best on what channels. Social Media Manager Required - Instagram
I am looking for someone to manage my pre-launch fashion brand Instagram account. There are a few challenges relating to this project: 1) I dont yet have any content of my own since we are pre launch 2) I want our tone of voice to be quite muted, subtle and understated so as to support what we hope is a luxury/premium brand.... What this means is we dont want lots of captions begging for followers or likes I think really at this point the only way really to be posting on a regular basis is to kind of use Instagram as a moodboard, so we source and post images online that fit our aesthetic using some hashtagging (in the comments rather than the caption) and build slowly from there. We are looking for daily posting (2/3times a day) and a platform whereby we can authorise the posts and any captions before they are published.
Short term cover for Digital Communications role
WasteAid is a UK based international charity (www.wasteaid.org). We support developing and middle income countries to set up waste management systems. WasteAid is looking for UK based freelancer who can provide short term cover from now until end of May/June for the Circular Economy Network project. The role will be homebased. We estimate we would need someone for the equivalent of 10-16 hours a week. The remuneration will be in line with a full time position of £32k per year (depending on experience). Specifically we need someone to; - Support the digital communications (website, twitter and LinkedIn) in the run up to, during and post three one day live events (Vietnam, India and South Africa) - In conjunction with the project team create and maintain content for @circeconnetwork, LinkedIn and website (circulareconomynetwork.co, monthly newsletter (mailchimp) until end of June - In conjunction with the project team, edit short video clips and create video content for twitter. We are ideally looking for someone with an interest/experience in writing on/experience in environmental issues.
