I am looking for a partner who I can share 50% of the revenue with. I need someone who can use my graphics to create a 2D tower defence and make my idea come to life. I can provide art for the “towers” (they will be mythical creatures based on Heroes Of Might and Magic 3, in a pixel art style). And I can provide a title screen and possibly a world map + different stages. Game would be roguelike, with after each node you get to choose a new “tower” to join your arsenal. Towers upgrade into a new form at lvl 3, which is chosen between 2 different upgrades with different visuals (i can provide those). Towers gain xp whenever they inflict dmg or status effects on the enemies (like freezing, burning,…) You have an UI and a drag and drop system for the towers + a money cost system. I can provide icons if needed / for lower cost. Towers will be ranked, for example a tier1 tower is much weaker than a tier7, but much cheaper. One dragon guards the castle as a last resort, this dragon attacks slowly. After a win, you can spend a special resource earned after a victory to buy either one of 3 random towers, or upgrade the dragon guarding your castle, or buy one of 3 random artifacts. Towers you buy are unlocked to use during the current run. There’s also a “bestiary” button on the title screen which leads to an overview of all unlocked towers, with some Info on the towers that I’ll provide. I can provide the enemy designs. What I need: - someone to program the above 2D pixel art game - i need sound effects and some animations for when a tower hits or an enemy is moving to the castle. - I do have a few theme’s to use at my disposal, so this may not be very urgent - Someone who is willing to team up, create a game and sell it with me under a shared license, to 50/50 profits contract possibly (to be determined) - maybe more stuff that I’m forgetting. - I am willing to work with students, newer people, however I will only pay if the result is good enough. - Budget is to be determined with the mentioned Contract.
