Analyze Religion in Handmaid's Tale
I need an MLA-formatted essay on the role of religion in "The Handmaid's Tale." Key points to cover: - Focus on biblical references: exploration of their manipulation. - Specific examples from the novel: impact of scripture manipulation. - Thematic emphasis: dangers of religious extremism. Ideal skills and experience: - Strong literary analysis - Familiarity with "The Handmaid's Tale" - Proficiency in MLA formatting - Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly Do not rely on the Internet or other sources for additional information, as this is not a research essay. The exception is if you choose one of the essay options connected to Adichie’s “The Danger of a Singer Story” TED Talk. Your essay should highlight your ideas about the novel based on your close reading, careful analysis, and critical thinking. Note that there is a series and a film based on the novel, but both are radically different and will not suffice as substitutes for actively reading and thinking about the novel. Engaging, original title (not simply the title of the novel); • Clear, firm, approved thesis statement located at or near the end of your engaging/orienting introduction; • Solid essay structure: introduction, body, and conclusion; especially avoid the five-paragraph essay: write beyond this, even if you use a three-point, focused thesis statement; • Well-developed, unified, coherent body paragraphs; • Appropriate use of fiction vocabulary: plot, setting, characterization, symbolism, etc. Your essay should demonstrate your solid understanding/application of at least one fiction element: see related Elements of Fiction Lecture Notes; • Ample supporting evidence (direct quotes, examples/details, explanation/reasoning). Note: direct quotes should constitute approximately 15-20% of your essay; strive for two supporting quotes per body paragraph. Your ideas and opinions are primary; quotes should play a secondary, supporting role. Also, especially avoid unnecessary plot summary: assume your audience has already read the novel, so there is no need to retell the plot; • Demonstration that you have actively read the entire novel. This means you want to avoid focusing on just one section of the novel. You also want to make sure you include at least some discussion of the novel’s resolution. Note that the “Historical Notes” section at the end of the novel is actually part of the novel. Furthermore, you want to refer to all major characters: Offred, Luke, Nick, The Commander, and Serena Joy. • Accurate MLA documentation (signal phrases, direct quotations, and parenthetical citations) plus a properly formatted Works Cited page. The Handmaid’s Tale and possibly “The Danger of a Single Story” are the only sources you should use for this essay; • Critical Thinking: essay demonstrates original perceptions, thoughtful, interesting comments, and critical reading and thinking; • Satisfying conclusion; not unnecessarily repetitive; does not include new information; employ the framing technique by echoing or restating your engaging title; • Style: clear, persuasive language and accurate grammar, punctuation, and spelling; Nuñez and Raybould-Rodgers 1-26 • Third person viewpoint: he, she, characters’ names, etc. (avoid unnecessary 1st person “I” and omit 2nd person “you”; • Present verb tense (as is the convention when writing about literature).

Google Ads PPC Manager – Local Healthcare Service
We are looking for an experienced UK-based Google Ads specialist to manage PPC campaigns for a clinical ear wax removal service based in Glasgow. The current campaign is underperforming — zero conversions tracked over 30 days, only 7 keywords, and weak negative keyword management. We need someone to come in and fix the foundations properly. Immediate priorities: fix conversion tracking, build out the keyword list, improve ad copy, and add a comprehensive negative keyword list. We offer both microsuction AND irrigation unlike most competitors — this needs to be reflected in the campaigns. We've previously run campaigns at around £50/day so there's genuine budget to scale once the basics are right. Long term there's potential to expand to other UK locations as the business grows. UK based only — no exceptions. Please mention the word "microsuction" in your proposal so we know you've read this brief.

Project Overview I manufacture illuminated light boxes with removable front plates (sign panels). I am looking for a designer to create a series of sign designs that will be placed on the front of these light boxes. The finished designs will be used on removable panels so customers can swap the design depending on the occasion. Design Size Each design must fit within: 280mm (width) x 180mm (height) Landscape orientation. Please keep important design elements away from the outer edges to allow for trimming and mounting tolerance. Possible alternative panel colours include: * Black (#000000) * Red (#C00D1E) * Blue (#00358E) * Green (#00AE42) * Grey (#A6A9AA) * Yellow (#FCE300) Colour Palette Designs should only use colours from the following palette: * Black (#000000) * White (#FFFFFF) * Grey (#A6A9AA) * Yellow (#FCE300) * Red (#C00D1E) * Green (#00AE42) * Blue (#00358E) * Teal (#0086D6) Where possible please use a limited number of colours per design. Zoho CRM Developer Needed – Improve Zoho Vendo API Integration
Summary We are looking for an experienced Zoho CRM developer with strong Deluge and API integration experience to help refine and extend an existing Zoho CRM and Paradigm Vendo integration. This is not a greenfield project. The core API integration has already been successfully implemented and tested. We need a developer who can review the existing Deluge code, refine workflow behavior, and implement Phase 2 enhancements without rebuilding the integration. The existing Deluge function and API communication are already implemented and working in production. The current system successfully creates Vendo appointments and stores the returned Vendo appointment ID inside Zoho CRM. ⸻ CURRENT SYSTEM (PHASE 1 COMPLETE) Zoho CRM currently creates Vendo sales appointments directly from a Contact record. A custom button in Zoho runs a Deluge function that: • Collects Contact and address data • Normalizes phone numbers and state abbreviations • Sends a payload to the Vendo API Endpoint currently used: POST /v2/appointment Example response from Vendo: Appointment ID returned from Vendo The returned appointment ID is stored in Zoho CRM in the custom field: Vendo_Appt_ID Duplicate protection has already been implemented so the system will not create multiple Vendo appointments for the same contact. We have also successfully tested the Vendo deeplink endpoint which returns a launch URL for the appointment. This URL launches the exact appointment directly inside the Vendo application. ⸻ PHASE 2 OBJECTIVES Phase 2 focuses on improving usability, workflow safety, and user interface behavior inside Zoho CRM. ⸻ 1. Relaunch Existing Vendo Appointment When a contact already has a Vendo appointment ID stored, we want a Relaunch Vendo button that: • Calls the Vendo deeplink endpoint using the stored appointment ID • Retrieves the returned deeplink URL • Opens the exact Vendo appointment for the CRM user Note: Zoho Deluge functions run server side, so the developer must implement the correct method to open the returned URL for the CRM user. ⸻ 2. Canvas Interface Logic We are using Zoho CRM Canvas for the contact interface. Phase 2 will include improving the Canvas layout to support a structured sales cockpit style interface for agents during remote discovery calls. This includes: • Conditional button visibility based on Vendo_Appt_ID • Clean layout for discovery fields and property information • Quick property research launch buttons based on the confirmed address Examples of research links may include: • Zillow • Realtor • Street View • County Auditor These links should dynamically use the address fields stored in the CRM record. The goal is to provide agents with fast property context while speaking with customers. ⸻ 3. Reset and Refresh Workflow Sometimes intake data changes after the appointment has been created. We need a safe workflow action called Reset Vendo Link. This action should: • Clear the stored Vendo_Appt_ID • Allow the user to recreate the appointment if needed The existing duplicate protection must remain intact. ⸻ 4. Code Review and Cleanup Review the current Deluge integration and ensure: • Clean structure • Proper error handling • Maintainable logic • Documentation of the integration behavior The goal is to keep the integration stable, understandable, and easy to extend. ⸻ REQUIRED SKILLS • Zoho CRM • Deluge scripting • REST API integrations • Zoho Canvas • Debugging and improving existing code ⸻ NICE TO HAVE • Zoho Widgets or Client Scripts • Webhook or event based integrations • Experience integrating external SaaS platforms with Zoho ⸻ IMPORTANT The appointment creation integration is already working. We are specifically looking for a developer who is comfortable reviewing and extending existing working code rather than rebuilding the integration from scratch. Phase 2 focuses only on improving the sales interface and existing integration. Production workflow automation will be addressed in a later phase. This prevents candidates from quoting production systems in the estimate. ⸻ WHEN APPLYING PLEASE INCLUDE 1. Your experience with Zoho CRM and Deluge 2. An example of an external API integration you have built using Zoho 3. Your estimated hours to complete the Phase 2 tasks described above

a month ago5 proposalsRemoteShort Form Editor
Hey. We are Bogar Tech Designs — a fast-growing automotive accessories brand that sells pre-cut, vehicle-specific film kits directly to car enthusiasts. Chrome deletes. Headlight and taillight tints. Paint protection film. Window tint. Every product is precision-cut in-house for a specific make, model, and trim. We do the hard part before the order ever ships so our customers can focus on the fun part — the transformation. We are a small, passionate team that genuinely cares about the product, the content, and each other. We move fast, we communicate openly, and we celebrate wins together. If that sounds like a place you want to work, keep reading. THE OPPORTUNITY: We are building a short form content machine and we need an editor who wants to grow with it. This starts freelance. If it clicks — and we think it will with the right person — it becomes full time. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of what we are building. WHAT WE MAKE Our content lives on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. We run multiple content types simultaneously and each one has its own personality. You will not be editing the same style of video on repeat. Here is what the mix looks like: • Founder videos — Juan (Owner) on camera. Scripted, direct-to-consumer, conversion-focused. Confident and conversational, not corporate. • UGC installs — real installs shot on iPhone. Natural, raw, satisfying to watch. The kind of content that makes someone think, "I could do that." • Challenge and entertainment-style content — think high-energy car builds. Fun, built to be rewatched and shared. • Transformation montages — this is where you get to flex. Full blackout builds shot cinematically. Before and after reveals. Split screens. Component callouts. These videos need to make a viewer stop mid-scroll and think, "I need my car to look like that right now." Tracked, sound-synced edits that feel like a flex every time they play. • Customer UGC — real customers filming their own installs. Light polish, add a lower third, format for platform. Quick turnaround. Brands we look to for inspiration: Carpe, Dr. Squatch, Dollar Shave Club, Overnight Oats. Study them if you have not already. We are building something in that lane for the automotive world. THE ROLE You will work directly with our Creative Director. You will receive raw footage, a direction brief, and any scripts or on-screen text. You return publish-ready files. The relationship is collaborative — you are not just executing, you are contributing. If you see a better way to open a video, say so. If a brief is missing something, flag it. We want your editing voice in this content, not just your hands on the timeline. THE VOLUME The target is 100 to 150 videos per week at full capacity — roughly 30 per day, structured however works best across the week. We know that is a big number. It is also very achievable with the right batching system and clear briefs, which we provide. We are building the infrastructure to make your job as smooth as possible. THE ONE THING WE WILL NEVER STOP TALKING ABOUT Hooks. The first two seconds of every video is everything. It is the reason someone keeps watching or keeps scrolling. We need an editor who treats the opening frame with the same obsession a cinematographer treats lighting. It has to be intentional. It has to stop the scroll. For transformation content especially, a great hook is visual before it is anything else. Show the problem first and the viewer is already invested before the install starts. If you are the kind of editor who gets the first cut perfect before moving on to anything else, you will fit right in here. WHAT YOU BRING The Essentials: • Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve — fast and comfortable • After Effects required — motion graphics, split screen compositing, rotoscoping, masking, color isolation, camera tracking (2D and 3D) • Strong instinct for short form pacing • Music selection and audio sync • Clean on-screen text and title work • Organized file management • Deep understanding of hooks • Ability to work across multiple content styles What will make you stand out: • Experience with automotive, lifestyle, or product content • You study strong DTC brands and understand why their content works • You contribute creatively, not just technically • Experience editing at volume • Cinematic transformation edits • Ability to adapt editing voice across formats
10 days ago22 proposalsRemoteSEMrush SEO Audit & Roadmap
I need a specialist who can dive into SEMrush, run a full site crawl, and hand back a clear-to-follow report that focuses on on-page SEO. The priority is understanding where my current pages fall short—be it thin copy, weak headings, cannibalised keywords, or missing schema—and then laying out a practical sequence of fixes I can implement (or have you implement later). Keyword research must be woven into the audit. Pull fresh data straight from SEMrush, map each page to the best-fit terms, and highlight any gaps where new content should be created. If you uncover off-page or technical issues during the crawl, feel free to flag them, but the bulk of your analysis should stay on-page. Deliverables • PDF or Google Doc audit generated from SEMrush, annotated with your insights • Excel/Sheets keyword map aligning target terms to existing and recommended pages • Action plan prioritised by impact vs. effort, with clear next steps, page IDs, and suggested copy/meta improvements • 30-minute hand-over call or Loom walkthrough so I’m crystal-clear on what to tackle first I will grant read-only access to Search Console and SEMrush as soon as we start. Please share a sample audit you’ve produced recently so I can gauge depth and style.

Linguistics Review Article Writing
I am putting together a series of scholarly review articles in linguistics and need support from someone who can take a draft idea all the way to a polished, publication-ready manuscript. The job blends focused literature research, clear academic writing, and meticulous proofreading. Scope of topics The reviews will span Phonetics and Phonology, Syntax and Semantics, Sociolinguistics, and Second Language Acquisition. Within Phonetics and Phonology I want articulation, acoustic properties, and phonological processes examined, always tying findings back to second-language contexts where relevant. What you will handle You will search current journals, synthesize key debates, write an engaging yet rigorous narrative, and refine every sentence for clarity and consistency with the appropriate style guide (APA or another standard we agree on). I will supply rough outlines or notes; you expand them, incorporate up-to-date sources, and return a clean draft free of mechanical errors. Deliverables • One fully researched, 100 % proofread review article for each designated sub-area • Reference list formatted correctly and checked for accuracy • A brief summary of any critical gaps or future research directions identified during your review Acceptance criteria The articles must demonstrate comprehensive coverage of the chosen literature, integrate citations smoothly, and read fluently to both specialists and advanced students. A final spell-check and plagiarism scan should accompany the submission. If you are comfortable working across these linguistic domains and can turn drafts into compelling, cogent scholarship, I would like to collaborate.
