Background Working Lives is an exhibition of archive black and white photos depicting life of ordinary people going about their daily business in the Lower Marsh area of London which were mainly taken in the 1960s and 1970s. The exhibition opens on 29 August and runs until 22 September. There is also an accompanying schools workshop programme. We have a poster and have commissioned postcards which we intend to distribute through a third party. What we need Our marketing needs a boost. We have an initial press release which ahs been distributed to a limited number of publications. This needs a boost and needs to reach a much larger number including generalist local, regional and national press and radio and more specialist publications, blogs and similar. I need someone to build a press and media list of 150 titles / programmes / stations etc to email with a press release for a South London Exhibition end of August beginning of September. Key components We're very behind so looking for someone who can do this very quickly. 150 - 200 includes all the obvious - Time Out Radio 4 programmes local radio South London Press etc Aspects of the exhibition are a) local history, b) community participation, working people, street life in South London 1950 - 1980. c) Working life etc in Ukraine in the Soviey era and by extension the London Ukrainian community d) working lives in 20th century theatres. South London life. e) Visual art and especially photography. Niche periodicals, media, online journals etc for all of the above. You may have a good selection of the above already on your spreadsheet. For the rest of it is largely a google internet trawl.
