Press PR and Arts Marketing - Photography Exhibition

Looking at short notice for Press and PR and marketing support for a South London Exhibition.

Background

Working Lives is an exhibition of archive black and white photos depicting life of ordinary people going about their daily business in the Lower Marsh area of London which were mainly taken in the 1960s and 1970s.

The exhibition opens on 29 August and runs until 22 September.
There is also an accompanying schools workshop programme.
We have a poster and have commissioned postcards which we intend to distribute through a third party.

What we need

Our marketing needs a boost. We have an initial press release which ahs been distributed to a limited number of publications. This needs a boost and needs to reach a much larger number including generalist local, regional and national press and radio and more specialist publications, blogs and similar. We will then need further press releases as the exhibition progresses.
