Project Description We are looking for a graphic designer to professionally refine and develop an existing visual concept for Incessant Music, a UK music company. This is not a logo redesign or website redesign. The website, brand identity and core visual direction already exist. We need a designer who can understand the concept we have developed and elevate its execution rather than replace it with a new design direction. At the centre of the concept is a concentric-ring graphic derived from our existing brand mark. This graphic develops progressively across our five service areas, moving from one ring through to five rings. Each of the five services has its own distinct colour, creating a recognisable visual identity for that service while remaining part of one connected system. Ring Progression & Colour Hierarchy The system progresses from one ring for Service 1 through to five rings for Service 5. As additional rings are introduced, they should not all inherit the service colour or become equally prominent. In every service graphic, only the outermost ring carries the distinct colour assigned to that service. The preceding inner rings — whether there are one, two, three or four — should remain extremely subtle, low-visibility and largely neutral/ghosted. Their purpose is to create a sense of progression, depth and continuity between the five services, not to compete visually with the coloured outer ring. By Service 5, for example, the viewer should see one clearly defined coloured outer ring with four much more subdued rings sitting behind/within it. Visual Direction We want the ring system to have a sense of depth, dimension and atmosphere — almost suspended or floating within the space rather than simply sitting on a flat background. We are interested in the sophisticated use of light, transparency, reflection, depth and subtle environmental illumination to achieve this. The treatment should feel three-dimensional and atmospheric without becoming overly glossy or overpowering. The coloured outer ring should provide the principal visual energy, while the ghosted inner rings contribute depth and structure. The finished direction should feel premium, contemporary, atmospheric, editorial and rooted in the music industry. We are specifically not looking for a gaming, crypto, sci-fi or heavily neon aesthetic. We are looking for someone with a strong eye for brand identity, composition and sophisticated digital graphics, who is comfortable developing an established creative direction rather than starting again. References Supplied We will provide: Existing service-page concept — showing how the graphic system integrates with the website and demonstrating the 1–5 ring progression across the five services. We're no experts, and we know some of the videos won't be perfect, so we're not expecting you to work miracles; we just want the videos to have a basic edit so they flow well, there's some sort of graphics here and there, maybe some prices, or the odd GIF. I'll provide you with any pricing or information so you don't need to spend time on this. PLEASE QUOTE SEPARATELY FOR EACH OF THESE 1. Graphics package (one-off price) Brand refresh - Logo, colour palette, font choices and a simple style guide. We're open to your ideas, so please show us your thinking. Reusable graphics - Channel banner, editable thumbnail template, animated intro and outro, end screen and lower thirds, all in the new style. We're thinking it might be best to just use an image of us both for the thumbnail to make it more real. Files - Please confirm we receive the editable source files and full ownership. I want to be able to use these as I please. 2. Video editing (price per video) We'll have some videos, ranging from 5 minutes to 25-30 minutes each. Please give us two prices: Edit only - One finished long-form video, with pacing, music, captions and a bit of fun on the big pulls. Edit plus Shorts - The same video, plus Shorts cut from it. Please say how many Shorts are included, for example, 3. 3. Shorts (price per clip) Standalone Shorts - If you'd also edit Shorts that don't come from a long video, please quote that too. WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR PROPOSAL Examples - Two or three pieces of your work. Any niche is fine. We're looking at your design taste, pacing and sense of humour. Process note - How you work, and whether you use AI at any stage. As I said, I'm not anti AI, it's the outcome that matters. But if you're just going to use ChatGPT, please do not apply, I've tried this myself and this is the sort of outcome that doesn't resonate. Turnaround - How long you'd need per long video and per Short. Revisions - How many rounds are included in each quote. What's included - Please confirm whether each price covers music, captions and sound clean-up, so quotes are easy to compare. Ongoing work - Whether you'd be available regularly if we get on well. Don't use the budget shown as a guide. Please quote each item separately as listed above. This is vital to understand where we'd be in terms of ongoing orders.
