Hi Nicola, "very large ongoing graphic design project" isn't enough information to bid.
What do you expect the graphic designer to do?
Is it graphic design for print, online, social etc?
What are you supplying to the designer - copy, images etc?
If you can't supply even this basic information then every attempt is going to be a disaster I'm afraid.Nicolas S.02 Feb 2026Hi Colin
Myi initial announcement served the purpose of arousing your interest. This is what the project entails.
PART 1
1) Inventing 50 new lead generaton ideas for B2B
2) Creating an explainer video per idea
3) Writing 5 articles per idea for social media / LinkedIn
4) Designing a book and website featuring all 50 ideas
PART 2
5) Publicising the book / ideas
6) Handling the spin-off design work that the book / website will generate
I admit that this is a "battleship" sized project which has FLUMMOXED most creatives.
Happy to send more details.Colin D.02 Feb 2026Hi Nicola, I can see why you’re having problems.
Most of the things in your list isn’t what a graphic designer does.
There are 5-6 separate skill sets in your list - one person would never be able to do them well, or even do them at all.
1) Inventing 50 new lead generaton ideas for B2B - that’s marketing sales
2) Creating an explainer video per idea - that’s a motion graphics designer
3) Writing 5 articles per idea for social media / LinkedIn - that’s a copywriter
4) Designing a book and website featuring all 50 ideas - that’s a graphic designer who can also code a website
5) Publicising the book / ideas - that a PR and publicist
6) Handling the spin-off design work that the book / website will generate - too vague a description but covers graphic design, web design & coding
You’re better off approaching a physical design agency, or split up your request into separate jobs.
Hope that’s of help, I think you need to rethink your strategy completely to have any chance of success. -

Before I suggest the right designer profile and rewrite the announcement, can you clarify what kind of work will make up most of this ongoing project — is it more brand-led design (identity, layouts, marketing assets) or fast-turnaround production work?
Also, is your main challenge attracting experienced designers, or filtering out applicants who aren’t the right fit once they apply?Nicolas S.29 Jan 2026Hi Joanna
I am looking to SHARE future client design work generated via interest in 50+ never-been-seen-before B2B lead generation ideas which will be promoted by up to 17,000 commission agents and printers. The launch of the first lead gen idea was sponsored by two international postal authorities and attracted 1,000 design enquiries.
Here"s what happened next:
1) I was FIRED as agency Creative Director for having attracted these design enquiries. Yes, it's true!
2) The first freelance designer I hired didn't see why he should ever SHARE any of his client copywriting work with me.
3) Subsequent hiring discussions have collapsed because designers could not agree on a COLLABORATIVE working relationship. It's paying work, so what"s the problem?
Do you think you can advise how to find a designer and crack this one? -

We need far more information about what type of project it is.
-

Can you clarify if you are looking for a volunteer designer, or a freelance (paid) designer? And could you describe the project a bit more please
