Build a custom connector for Power BI to a SQLite DB

I would like to use a PowerQuery to get data into Power BI from a number of SQLite database files. I already have an ODBC connection set up which works, however I can only import the table into Power BI, as Power BI does not support Powerqueries to SQLite. I believe a custom Connector is needed for PowerQuery to allow for a queries to be made with an SQLite database. I would like a custom connector to be made for our SQLite DB files. I am also open to other proposals to achieve the same result, however need to maintain the SQLite DB's.

So a search bar to find businesses, ie. a 'painter' or 'electrician' and then it brings up all those in the directory who have those key words in their profile.
