Hi,
We’re looking for an experienced SEO / organic growth specialist to improve real search visibility and inbound enquiries for an established events and catering business operating across multiple UK locations.
This is not a social media role and not paid social advertising. Those channels are already covered.
This role is focused on:
- Organic search visibility
- Google search performance
- High-intent service + location keywords
- Commercial outcomes (leads, enquiries, bookings)
If your work is primarily reports, dashboards, or “ongoing optimisation” without tangible results, this won’t be a fit.
Scope of work
You would be responsible for:
- Keyword research focused on high-intent service and location searches
- Defining a clear keyword set and baseline rankings
- On-page SEO improvements (service pages, location pages, structure)
- Technical SEO fixes (crawlability, internal linking, sitemap, errors)
- Authority building / link acquisition (clean, legitimate methods only)
- Supporting content only where it directly contributes to rankings
- Tracking rankings, visibility, and lead impact
We’re interested in movement, not noise.
How payment works (important)
We are happy to pay upfront, but we require skin in the game.
The structure will be:
- An agreed base fee (slightly reduced)
- Performance bonuses paid on top when agreed targets are achieved
Targets will be defined upfront and may include:
- Moving agreed keywords from outside the top 30 into the top 20
- Top 20 into top 10
- Top 10 into top 3
- Rankings sustained for an agreed period (e.g. 30 days)
Bonuses are paid once targets are hit and verified via agreed tools (e.g. Google Search Console or rank tracking software).
If you’re confident in your ability to rank sites, this structure should work in your favour.
What we need from you
Please include:
1. Examples of sites you’ve ranked (ideally service-based or local SEO)
2. Your actual approach for the first 30 / 60 / 90 days
3. How you measure success (no vanity metrics)
4. Confirmation you’re comfortable working with clear targets and performance incentives
Generic proposals will be ignored.
Ideal fit
- Proven SEO experience (delivery, not theory)
- Comfortable being measured on outcomes
- Clear communicator
- No black-hat or spam tactics
- Strong understanding of commercial intent
We’re not looking for a long-term retainer based purely on activity.
We’re looking for someone who wants to win alongside us.
