Advice on Voluntary Registration & Cash Accounting Scheme
Description: I am a UK-based energy consultant. I receive commission payments from energy suppliers (B2B). My annual VAT taxable turnover is currently below the £90,000 registration threshold, but I am considering voluntary VAT registration. My business expenses include: Rent (VAT applies) Phone & internet (VAT applies) Office equipment (VAT applies) No significant stock or goods for resale I need expert advice on the following: Whether voluntary VAT registration is financially beneficial for my specific business model. Whether the VAT Cash Accounting Scheme is appropriate for me and how it interacts with my commission income (to avoid paying VAT before I am paid by energy suppliers). Any risks or downsides specific to a commission-based consultant (e.g., partial exemption, flat rate scheme suitability, or any excluded transactions under cash accounting). A clear recommendation on whether to register voluntarily now or wait. A summary of ongoing obligations if I register (VAT returns, Making Tax Digital, record-keeping). Deliverables: A short written report (or recorded video call summary) with a clear yes/no recommendation and reasoning. An explanation of cashflow impact using example figures (which I will provide). I do not require ongoing accounting or bookkeeping at this stage – this is purely for advice. Required expertise: UK VAT specialist Experience with consultants / commission-based B2B services Familiarity with HMRC Cash Accounting Scheme rules

WordPress Website Completion Required – North Theme
# WordPress Website Completion Required – North Theme Please read this advert carefully before applying. I am looking for an experienced WordPress developer to complete my website using the North Theme. This project has previously been advertised, and unfortunately I wasted a considerable amount of time with applicants who either did not read the brief properly or attempted to increase the budget after making contact. **The budget is fixed and will not be changed.** If you feel the budget is not suitable for the work involved, please do not apply. I am not interested in receiving applications from individuals who intend to provide a higher quotation after reviewing the project. All files, images, logos, content, and website assets have already been prepared and organised into clearly labelled folders. The project should therefore be straightforward for someone who is competent and experienced with WordPress. ### Website Requirements * Complete website using the North WordPress Theme * Clean, professional, modern appearance * Dark, dystopian visual style * Easy-to-use navigation throughout * Clear access to important information about Indy Sagu * Social media integration throughout the website * Fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices * Fast turnaround required ### What I Need From You Please tell me exactly what login details and access you require to begin work (WordPress Admin, Hosting, FTP, etc.). I am looking for someone who can follow instructions, communicate clearly, and complete the project efficiently without unnecessary delays or complications. If you apply, please provide examples of WordPress websites you have personally completed and confirm that you are happy to work within the fixed budget stated in this advert. "Applications that do not confirm acceptance of the fixed budget will not be considered." Thank you.

21 days ago17 proposalsRemoteNext.js Frontend Support
We’re currently expanding an existing web platform and are looking for a React / Next.js developer who enjoys improving real products rather than starting from scratch. The project is already up and running, which means you’ll be working on something tangible-refining the frontend, improving user experience, and helping shape features that are actively being used. This role is well-suited for someone who prefers clear, structured work over vague requirements. Tasks are defined in advance, expectations are realistic, and the focus is on steady, meaningful progress instead of rushed delivery. You’ll be improving UI components, enhancing responsiveness, and integrating with existing APIs, while also having the opportunity to contribute to new features as the platform evolves. We value developers who take ownership of their work, communicate clearly, and care about writing clean, maintainable code. If you’re someone who enjoys polishing details and making interfaces feel smooth and intuitive, you’ll likely find this project a good fit. Experience with Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, or performance optimization is a plus, but not a strict requirement. The engagement is expected to last around two months, with an hourly rate between $25 and $50 depending on your experience. Work is managed directly through the platform with clear task breakdowns, and there are no unpaid test assignments-just a straightforward, professional collaboration from the start.

I am looking for an established WordPress freelancer to help me with a few functionality and design changes on my website. Part 1: Elementor Pro Replacement My site is currently running on an expired Elementor Pro license. I will not be renewing this license. I need you to safely remove the Pro dependency and replace the Pro features (specifically the header, sticky menu, mobile menu, and contact form) with reliable, free plugin alternatives. You will need to rebuild or adjust these elements to ensure they function perfectly without the Pro license. Part 2: UI/UX Alterations (Please note: Additional CSS was previously used to make changes to the site.) - Header/Menu:** Create a fade or shrinking effect on the logo as users scroll. - Sticky Menu: Add a solid background effect on the menu upon scrolling (it currently blends into the header and is hard to read). - Mobile Menu: Fix the mobile menu button (currently unresponsive, likely tied to the Pro license issue). - Dynamic Tags: The headers are currently using dynamic tags, making them very difficult for me to edit. I would like this undone and replaced with a standard setup so I can easily change text myself in the future. - Image Optimization: The home page hero image is too large and slowing down page load speeds; please optimize it. - Contact Form: The form is currently broken. Please replace it with a free alternative (e.g., WPForms, Contact Form 7) and add a "Your request has been submitted" success message. Part 3: Final Security Diagnostic My website was recently compromised by a Japanese Keyword/Spam injection. I have already performed the cleanup myself (deleted unauthorized users, removed spam text) and ran diagnostics that came back with a clean bill of health. However, as part of this job, I would like you to run a final diagnostic to flag any underlying issues, broken links, or lingering vulnerabilities I may have missed.

Pattern maker and seamstress for athleisure wear
I am looking for a pattern maker who can create a sweatshirt pattern (I've got some rough ideas of having a slightly more curved and oversized sleeve), as well as a seamstress who can sew together the pattern pieces once they have been printed and dyed. (If you are both a pattern cutter and seamstress that would be amazing.) I need the final sweatshirts (5 in total) to be of high quality as I will be showing them at my postgrad degree show, my website and possibly to an independent boutique. Looking for a quick turnaround for both patterning and sewing. Many thanks Funmi
