Architecture Review Request
Please evaluate and provide recommendations for:
Option 1
Continue with WordPress, BuddyBoss, and LearnDash as the primary platform.
Option 2
Use WordPress/BuddyBoss/LearnDash as the backend with a custom frontend experience.
Option 3
Rebuild the platform entirely using a modern custom stack.
Option 4
Any alternative architecture you would recommend.
Questions To Answer
Please provide:
Which architecture would you recommend and why?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of each option?
Estimated development cost for each option.
Estimated timeline for each option.
Long-term maintenance considerations.
Scalability considerations.
SEO considerations.
Any risks or concerns you see with the project.
Primary Goal
The goal is to create the leading professional ecosystem for sexuality facilitators, combining community, education, visibility, and client discovery within a single platform.
The priority is making the right long-term architectural decision before committing further development resources.
I have attached a site map
I have built a prototype of the site on replit and that can be found here:

A few quick questions after reviewing the handbook and architecture document:
1. Is the platform currently pre-launch, or do you already have active facilitators and members using BuddyBoss/LearnDash?
2. For the initial launch, is your primary goal validating the facilitator directory and community, or do you consider booking and payment functionality essential for the MVP?
3. Do you expect The Coven to remain primarily focused on one market initially, or should the architecture be designed from day one for multiple countries, currencies, and languages?
These answers will help me recommend the most appropriate architecture, timeline, and scaling strategy. -

Questions:
How much of the BuddyBoss/LearnDash setup is already configured and populated versus still planned?
Is the Replit prototype purely a UI/UX prototype, or does it already contain working business logic and user flows?
How many facilitators and seekers do you expect during the first 12–24 months?
Is directory search expected to support geolocation/radius search or only city/modality filtering initially?
Are bookings and payments considered Phase 2, or do you expect architecture decisions today to fully accommodate them from launch?
Do you require native mobile apps in the future, or is the roadmap web-only?
Will facilitator profiles be manually reviewed by administrators before publication in all cases?
Do you already have preferred payment providers for future subscriptions, bookings, and marketplace transactions?
Is multilingual support planned?
Would you like the architecture review to include projected infrastructure and operational costs for years 1–3, alongside development estimates?
