Description
Experience Level: Expert
I run a growing UK driving school and driving instructor training business.
We are looking for a reliable, professional sales person to help manage and convert enquiries from people interested in becoming driving instructors.
This is not a hard-sell role. We need someone who can follow up quickly, ask good questions, explain the opportunity clearly, build trust, and help suitable candidates move to the next stage.
Main responsibilities
Respond to new instructor training enquiries
Follow up by phone, email and WhatsApp
Explain our driving instructor training pathway clearly
Qualify candidates using a simple checklist
Send information packs
Book suitable candidates into a call
Keep clear notes on every enquiry
Follow up with leads who have gone quiet
Help improve scripts, messages and follow-up processes
Work with our CRM/project management system once trained
You should be good at
Speaking confidently on the phone
Building rapport quickly
Following a clear sales process
Asking questions without sounding scripted
Handling objections calmly
Keeping accurate notes
Following up consistently
Working independently
Communicating clearly with the business owner
Experience that would help
Sales calls
Lead follow-up
Appointment setting
Recruitment sales
Training/course sales
Education sales
Franchise or self-employment opportunity sales
CRM or pipeline management
Experience in the driving industry is not required. We can train you on the offer.
What we are selling
We train people to become driving instructors.
Many people like the idea of becoming an instructor, but they are unsure about the process, the costs, the earning potential and whether it is right for them.
Your job is to help them understand the opportunity and move suitable candidates to the next stage.
Hours and pay
Starting at 5–10 hours per week
£25–£40 per hour depending on experience
Remote role
UK-based preferred
Initial paid trial before ongoing work
Possible bonus structure once the role is working well
Trial task
Before offering ongoing work, we would like to run a short paid trial.
The trial may include:
Reviewing our current enquiry follow-up process
Making a small number of follow-up calls
Sending follow-up messages
Keeping notes on each lead
Suggesting improvements to the sales process
To apply, please send
Your hourly rate
Your sales experience
Any experience with lead follow-up or appointment setting
What CRM or sales systems you have used
An example of a sales process you have worked in
Whether you are comfortable making phone calls
Your availability each week
Whether you are happy to complete a paid trial task
The right person
The right person will be calm, organised, professional and consistent.
We do not want someone who is pushy or overly aggressive.
We want someone who can represent the business well, follow up properly, and help suitable people take the next step.
