UI/Web Designer Wanted – 5 Stunning, Modern Radio Website Themes

We’re a UK-based company developing a website and digital platform specifically for radio stations, and we're looking for a talented web/UI designer to create five completely original, modern website themes for the platform. This project is design only – no development/coding is required. We want to create a collection of genuinely impressive website themes that radio stations can choose from and fully customise within our platform. We don't want five variations of the same template. Each theme should have its own distinctive visual identity, layout and style, while still being practical enough to work as a real radio station website. Our platform allows customers to customise colours, typography, imagery and content, so the designs need to work as flexible design systems rather than completely fixed websites. We're specifically looking for a designer who can bring their own creative ideas to the project. The five designs should be visibly and structurally different, rather than simply changing colours, fonts and imagery. For example, one could take a clean editorial approach, another could be bold and entertainment-led, another highly visual and contemporary, and another particularly suited to local/community broadcasting. These are examples rather than prescribed creative directions – we'd like to see what you can come up with. We'd ideally like designs supplied in Figma, including desktop and mobile layouts, reusable components, typography and colour systems, consistent spacing/grids, relevant interaction states, and any useful implementation notes for our developers. The designs will be implemented separately by our own development team. We're primarily interested in the quality of your portfolio and your ability to produce original UI design. Experience with media, entertainment, music, editorial or SaaS products would be useful, although previous radio industry experience isn't essential. I am looking for someone who can do two things: 1.⁠ ⁠Listen to my product idea and sketch it out clearly. 2.⁠ ⁠Physically build a rough basic model of it, using simple materials if possible. I do not want CAD files, 3D renders, digital images, UX design, branding, or a polished prototype. I need someone who can actually make a simple physical version so I can see whether the idea works in real life. The model does not need to look beautiful. It does not need to be factory-ready. It can be rough, basic, handmade, and made from wood, plastic, card, foam board, 3D printed parts, brackets, hinges, magnets, or whatever simple materials make sense. As the organisation continues to grow and become increasingly busy, we are looking for additional support with our governance function. This is a newly established need within the business. Previously, governance responsibilities were managed by our People Director, but as the organisation has evolved, we now require dedicated support to ensure these activities are managed effectively and consistently. We are therefore looking for someone to undertake the Governance & Board Coordinator role, supporting the effective functioning of B Lab UK’s governance structures through reliable administrative, coordination and compliance support across a range of governance activities. The role will help maintain strong governance standards by ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of governance processes, well-organised information management and effective risk management. This will contribute to transparent, accountable and well-informed decision-making across the organisation. The role will work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, who is also the Company Secretary, to ensure that governance processes, Board activities, documentation, risk management and compliance requirements are well organised, coordinated and delivered effectively.
