Wood Carving Projects
Looking for freelance Wood Carving jobs and project work? PeoplePerHour has you covered.
Photographer needed at British Museum
I need a London-based photographer/videographer to visit the British Museum and photograph a carved hieroglyphic inscription on a specific object: EA1292, a granodiorite libation-bowl of Montuemhat, on display in Room 4 (Egyptian Sculpture Gallery), Bay 6. Museum entry is free, no special access needed. The inscription runs around both the top surface and the outer side edge of the bowl’s rim. I need: • Close-up stills of the top of the rim, in overlapping sections, all the way around • Close-up stills of the outer side edge, in overlapping sections, all the way around • Two slow videos panning around the bowl (one for the top, one for the side) • Please hold a phone flashlight at a low, angled (“raking”) angle across the stone while shooting — this makes the worn carving much more legible than straight-on lighting • Please review your photos/videos before leaving to confirm the text is legible, in focus, and fully covered with no gaps • Deliver full-resolution original files, labeled by section if possible Should take about 30–40 minutes on site. I’d love to have this done over the weekend or Monday morning if possible, but I’m flexible if that doesn’t work for your schedule. No need to wait for a reply before starting — everything you need is here. Message me on PeoplePerHour with updates; due to time difference I likely can’t take live calls.

Root & Still, a UK brand selling hand carved Buddha statues and mindful home decor. I'm looking for a freelance writer to take on 20 gift guide articles across the autumn and Christmas season, and I'd like a quote for the full set. I've attached the brief. It covers all 20 articles with the angle, structure, word count, keywords, products and internal links for each, plus how we write and a price reference for the products. Please read it before quoting, since it should tell you exactly what the work involves and how much research each piece needs. What I'd like back: 1. Your quote for all 20, and your rate per article if you'd rather price it that way 2. Two or three samples in home, interiors, lifestyle or wellness 3. How many articles a week you could take on, and your earliest start date 4. Anything in the brief you'd push back on or would want changed The schedule matters. Articles 1 to 3 are needed in August and article 5 has to be live by the second week of September, so I'm looking for someone who can start soon. We'd begin with one paid article before committing to the rest, so we can both check the voice lands.

Design - 128pp A5 trade catalogue, design and artwork
We're a UK distributor of industrial wood coatings and finishing products, and we need a designer to create our first product catalogue. 128 pages, A5 portrait, perfect bound. Roughly 100 pages of product listings — several products per page with images, descriptions and spec tables — plus around 20 pages of technical and advisory content at the front. Product data will be supplied as a spreadsheet, images as files, and we have brand guidelines and a logo. We're after a clean, dense, practical reference document rather than a glossy brochure. Think trade catalogue. You'd be responsible for the grid and layout design, the product page templates, the cover, and building out all 128 pages. Files must be print-ready for a UK litho printer: PDF/X-4, 3mm bleed, crops, CMYK, 300dpi. Please send examples of catalogue, directory or magazine work you've designed, along with your rate and an estimate of the time involved. We'd like to start with a paid trial — cover plus one 8-page section — before committing to the full project. The budget I have shown is not our budget I have just added something to get the advert up and running - please give your realistic budget.

Shopify Designer & Developer
We are launching a premium clothing brand, with graphic T-shirts priced at approximately €90, and are looking for an exceptional Shopify designer/developer to build our store. The creative direction combines Mediterranean old-money elegance with bold, unexpected illustrations. We need someone with strong fashion taste, excellent typography skills and the ability to turn campaign imagery into a distinctive shopping experience. VISUAL DIRECTION Imagine a Riviera weekend: historic seaside hotels, yacht decks, cream linen, dark wood, evening dinners and confident, understated styling. Our T-shirts bring the attitude through original graphics. The website brings the sophistication through art direction, photography, typography and layout. References to explore: • Casablanca — expressive fashion and luxury leisure. • Aimé Leon Dore — cohesive lifestyle storytelling. • Tom Ford — confidence and sensuality. • Oakâme — warm neutrals and striking editorial scale. • Farfetch — clear product browsing and shopping functionality. These references describe different aspects of the direction. We want an original identity. THE EXPERIENCE • Full-width campaign imagery with immediate visual impact. • Warm ivory, espresso brown and deep navy as a starting palette. • Beautiful typography, generous spacing and considered layouts. • Editorial storytelling alongside clear product presentation. • Subtle animation and smooth transitions. • Fast, polished mobile browsing. • An intuitive purchase journey. The product should remain the focal point throughout. PROJECT SCOPE Design: • Initial visual direction and homepage concept. • Desktop and mobile design approval before development. • Homepage, collection page and product page designs. Shopify build: • Complete responsive store setup and development. • Initial upload of up to 10 products with size/colour variants. • Product galleries, size guide and detailed product information. • Cart and checkout configuration within the selected Shopify plan. • About, contact, FAQ, shipping, returns and supplied policy pages. • Email signup and a basic welcome email. • Payment and shipping configuration. • Social links, Meta Pixel and GA4 with appropriate consent controls. • Basic SEO, image optimisation and performance checks. • Full purchase journey testing. • Launch support and a short handover video. FULFILMENT We plan to launch using POD/made-to-order fulfilment. The supplier is still being selected. Please include integration with one compatible supplier in your proposal, stating your assumptions. Any custom integration requirements must be identified and priced before development. WHAT WE PROVIDE • Brand name and existing clothing designs after shortlisting. • Product information and garment specifications. • Campaign imagery and product assets. • Feedback and direction throughout the project. • Policy content. Please specify whether copy refinement or any additional asset creation is included in your quote. BUILD APPROACH We are open to a professionally customised Shopify theme or a custom approach, provided the result achieves the required quality and remains easy for us to manage. Please identify the proposed theme and any paid apps. List licence fees and recurring costs separately. Licences must be legitimate and purchased through our account. TO APPLY, PLEASE SEND: Three to five relevant live fashion or premium ecommerce websites you personally worked on. Your exact contribution to each: design, development, or both. A brief description of the visual direction you would propose for this project. Your recommended Shopify build approach. Your fixed project price, including clear exclusions. Your timeline, milestones and included revision rounds. Your experience with POD/made-to-order integrations. Your included post-launch support. An existing portfolio and a short written approach are sufficient for this stage; an unpaid custom design is not required. Please begin your proposal with “RIVIERA” and place your strongest relevant fashion project first. We will shortlist based on visual quality, relevant experience and a clear understanding of the brief.

I am looking for someone who can do two things: 1. Listen to my product idea and sketch it out clearly. 2. Physically build a rough basic model of it, using simple materials if possible. I do not want CAD files, 3D renders, digital images, UX design, branding, or a polished prototype. I need someone who can actually make a simple physical version so I can see whether the idea works in real life. The model does not need to look beautiful. It does not need to be factory-ready. It can be rough, basic, handmade, and made from wood, plastic, card, foam board, 3D printed parts, brackets, hinges, magnets, or whatever simple materials make sense. The important thing is that you can think practically, sketch the idea, and then build a physical proof-of-concept model yourself. I am based in London and would prefer someone I can meet in person first, but I am open to discussing options. I would prefer someone based in London and or near London. I know some designers are like "any designer who is worthwhile makes cad drawings and renders". Back 200 years ago, there were no computers, yet people made things, inventions were still created. I need an 'old school' mindset because I just purely want a person who can and does make things in their home. Also, someone who has a great understanding on how things work and when things won't work. Please quote for an hourly rate, as I would like to find someone I can meet on a regular basis for various product ideas, not just x1. Also, before any work commences I would ask you to sign a simple NDA for idea protection. Thank you. **Important note: Important clarification about CAD and digital work: I am not preventing anyone from using CAD, digital modelling, computer renders or any other tools they feel are useful in producing the physical model. Use whatever methods you need or want to use behind the scenes. However, I do not want excessive time spent perfecting polished digital renders, and I do not want to be charged for hours of digital work that I have expressly said I do not require. Any digital work should be kept to the minimum in what is genuinely needed to create the physical prototype accurately. The work I am commissioning and paying for is the physical rough prototype, not a beautiful computer render. Also as I said I am not looking for perfection I am looking for a rough physical model that won't win any awards on beauty.

Past "Wood-carving" Projects
Corner Pillar Flower Design for Wood CNC
I have attached two images of a wooden furniture piece. I need the decorative corner pillar carvings extracted and recreated as 3D STL files. In one of the images, I have marked the specific areas I need. There are three separate design elements, and I require each of them to be delivered as an individual STL file (3 STL files in total). Important requirements: Only the carved decorative elements are needed. Do not include any surrounding surface, panel, or background geometry. The designs will be mounted onto a round pillar, so each model should be created with an appropriate curved back surface to match a cylindrical form. The STL files must be suitable for CNC carving and machining. Experience with 4-axis CNC wood carving and creating relief models for curved surfaces is highly preferred, as this project requires an understanding of how ornamentation is applied to round columns. Please review the attached images carefully and let me know if you have any questions before starting. Thank you.
CHILDRENS STORY PICTUREBOOK
Hello, I’m looking for an exceptional illustrator to become a long-term creative partner on an exciting children’s picture book series currently in development. The project is called Forever Wood, a collection of beautifully illustrated stories centred around Moss, the gentle woodland caretaker, and his small companion Iggy. Together with the real woodland animals who live in Forever Wood, they quietly solve problems, help others, and create adventures filled with kindness, friendship, discovery, and gentle humour. For me, the illustrations are every bit as important as the words—perhaps even more so. I believe children fall in love with characters through the artwork first, and I want Forever Wood to have an instantly recognisable visual identity that children remember for years. I’ve attached a selection of AI-generated concept images. These are intended purely to communicate the atmosphere, composition, and overall direction I’m aiming for—they are not the finished style. I’m looking for an illustrator who can take these ideas and transform them into something truly original, distinctive, and full of personality. The ideal illustration style should be: * Warm, timeless, and emotionally engaging. * Rich in woodland atmosphere and natural detail. * Instantly recognisable and unique. * Expressive, with memorable characters full of personality. * Consistent and scalable across an entire series. The first book will contain approximately 25 illustrated pages, but this is intended to become a series of around 20 books. Beyond the books themselves, I’d love the artwork to expand into: * Classroom teaching resources. * Colouring books and activity books. * Character guides and collectables. * Pop-up books and interactive editions. * Merchandise and licensing opportunities in the future. This isn’t simply a commission for a single book. I’m hoping to find someone who wants to help build an entire world and grow alongside the project over the coming years. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, I’d love to see examples of your work—particularly children’s books, woodland scenes, expressive animal characters, or projects with a strong storytelling style. I’m especially interested in artists who are excited to collaborate creatively, contribute ideas, and help shape the visual identity of Forever Wood from the very beginning. I look forward to hearing from you.

Project GHGTC-22B2
August 29, 2026 Project GHGTC-22B2 is a six-story building with (32) units and it is a version of Project GHGTC-22B1. Level 1 is the Garage. Level 2 has sixteen studios and all the balconies are enclosed with photovoltaic glass how they are in Project GHGTC-22B1. Level 3 has eight units--one bedroom, one bathroom--exactly how they are in Project GHGTC-22B1. Level 4 and Level 5 has eight (duplex) units--three bedrooms, three bathrooms. Level 4 is similar to Level 3 in Project GHGTC-22B1. Level 5 has a second entrance door to the hallway which is making this level different from Level 4 in Project GHGTC-22B1. Level 6 is the attic (the Electrical Room). The North side and the South side of the hallways, the elevators, and the Furnace & A/C Compressor Room are finished with photovoltaic glass from Level 2 to Level 6. The roof is covered with solar shingles and has (8) FX-200000 vertical axis wind turbines. All the balconies are enclosed with photovoltaic glass how they are in Project GHGTC-22B1. The structure of this project (vertical steel columns and horizontal prefabricated wood girders which are connected to the columns with elastic connections) is designed based on engineering calculations to stand up to a 220 mile per hour wind and strong earthquakes. The power plant of this project is designed to function as a micro-grid for the entire building if the grid collapses. Also, the power plant of this project is designed to function as a flexible power plant with the grid in order to make money for the owners of this building based on how big the battery storage will be (the money talks). Please find attached Level 2, the North Elevation, and the Aerial View of the Roof. I'd like to have this project executed in 3D electronic support. I offer $500 for the 3D electronic support and $150 for the 3D photorealistic renders how they are in Project GHGTC-22B1. NOTE: I'd like to have this project done and paid at the latest September 15, 2026.
Architectural Floor Plan — Two-Storey Residential House,
BUDGET: Open to reasonable offers. Please quote your price and turnaround time. PREFERENCE: Strong preference for a Ghanaian architect or draftsman, or someone with direct experience designing residential homes in Ghana or West Africa. Knowledge of local masonry construction, compound-style layouts, and generous room sizing conventions is essential. --- PROJECT OVERVIEW I need a clean, labeled, dimensioned 2D floor plan (ground floor and upper floor) for a two-storey residential family home to be built in Nalerigu, East Mamprusi Municipality, North East Region, Ghana. A draft floor plan has already been produced by another service (which I can share as a reference), but I am seeking a revised and improved version that addresses several shortcomings in that draft. You are not being asked to copy the existing plan — you are being asked to design a better one using the brief below. --- PLOT DETAILS - Location: Nalerigu, East Mamprusi Municipality, North East Region, Ghana - Plot size: Approximately 140 ft wide x 85 ft deep (one quarter of a 1.25-acre plot) - Construction: Solid masonry — brick, mortar, and concrete block. NO timber frame or wood stud. - Foundation: Concrete slab at ground level - Climate: Hot dry savanna — no insulation cavities, vapor barriers, or heating systems required - Roof: Reinforced concrete flat roof or steel-framed pitched roof with metal sheeting --- GROUND FLOOR ROOMS REQUIRED 1. Large open-plan family living room with island kitchen (island as the central feature, counter seating) 2. Formal guest reception room — separate from the family living room, positioned near the main entrance so guests can be received without entering the family's private space. Slightly smaller than the main living room. 3. Large kids play area (adjacent to or visible from the living room, separated enough to contain noise) 4. Kids TV room (enclosed, separate from the main living room) 5. Kids reading room / library (quiet, enclosed, wall space for bookshelves) 6. Large private home office (enclosed, quiet, away from kids areas) 7. One ground floor bedroom with ensuite toilet, shower/bath, and closet 8. Food pantry (small room, directly adjacent to the kitchen) 9. Storage room 10. Laundry room with a dedicated ironing area within the same room 11. One visitor's WC (accessible from the living area without passing through private spaces) 12. Entry corridor / hallway connecting the front entrance to the main living spaces 13. Staircase to upper floor (positioned centrally or near the main entrance) UPPER FLOOR ROOMS REQUIRED 1. Very large master bedroom suite — must comfortably contain within the bedroom itself: a small private sitting area, a dedicated dresser and vanity area for the wife, and a TV viewing area. Ensuite: toilet, large shower/bath, and generous wardrobe/closet. 2. Bedroom 2 — ensuite toilet, shower/bath, closet 3. Bedroom 3 — ensuite toilet, shower/bath, closet 4. Bedroom 4 — ensuite toilet, shower/bath, closet 5. Small storage room (off the central landing) 6. Central landing / hallway connecting all bedrooms and staircase --- DESIGN REQUIREMENTS - All rooms must be generously sized — this is a family home built to African scale, not European or American compact sizing - Clear separation on the ground floor between: (a) social/family zone and (b) private/quiet zone - Upper floor is exclusively sleeping and private - Natural light maximized — windows on all exterior walls where possible - Wall thicknesses must reflect solid masonry construction (typically 6–9 inches) - Target total floor area: 3,500–4,500 sq ft across both floors - Deliverable: Clean labeled 2D floor plan for both floors with all room names and approximate dimensions, in PDF or PNG format --- REFERENCE MATERIAL I have an existing draft floor plan from another service that I can share with the selected candidate. This is for reference only — to show what has already been attempted and what needs to be improved. You are free to redesign the layout entirely if your professional judgment suggests a better arrangement. If you have experience with residential construction in Ghana or West Africa, please mention this in your application. Knowledge of local building conventions, room proportions, and the cultural importance of separate guest reception spaces will be a significant advantage. Please include examples of previous residential floor plan work with your application.
FInal render of Sketchup model produced
I am looking for someone who can produce a final render of a bathroom design I have created. I have drawn all units and created all the texture maps into the design. It is important particular attention is paid to the following: The large mirror is uplit with LEDS from the copper splashback feature. The glass top under the basin has LED's behind the back edge, so when on the edge of the glass can be illuminated. The etched copper in the design is the main feature. The Dark Oak worktop will be oiled, thus the sheen may need adding. The texture maps I have added are visually correct, but I do not have PBR textures, and as such, textures may need to be added. Texture would likely need to be added to: The door frontals with a vertical wood grain The worktop wood grain The flooring woodgrain Glass worktop would need reflective qualities as would the sanitaryware. The taps are matt black I have included images of the design for reference. I need a quick turnaround on this, the person must know that these are for final client presentation, and realism is important.

Interior Design for House Floor (approx. 80 sqm)
Hello, I am looking for a talented interior designer to create a cohesive interior design concept for the entrance and the entire "ground" floor of a house. The house has an upper floor, but that is not part of this project. Project Scope: • Entrance (~5 sqm): Currently in a raw state. Needs a functional design (wardrobe/storage, lighting). • Ground Floor (~75 sqm): Open-plan living space (kitchen + dining + living room), corridor, bathroom and master bedroom with connected bathroom (only shower and washing cabinet) that will be divided with sliding glass. The bathroom has tiles on the walls. Design Style & Aesthetics: • Overall Style: Cohesive, warm, leaning towards Warm Scandinavian. It should feel bright, cozy, and sophisticated. Our objective is to move in as soon as possible thus; the bedroom and majority of furniture should be from IKEA (mid to higher price end) with bed 180 cm wide. Except for the dining table as we need a dining table with an approx. size 230x100 cm so it will be custom made. The colours shoud be around wood, off-white and in a minority (10% or less) shades of blue. • Flooring: The entire ground floor and entrance will feature wood-look porcelain tiles (120x20 cm) in a neutral oak tone. The stairs that came in the house are of oak but are not mounted during renovation. • Wall & Ceiling Colors: o Most areas: Off-white/Creamy white (my idea is JUB Jasmine as it is available here). o Master Bedroom: A paint colour (coming from the tiles in the bathroom, see picture) that should cover walls and the ceiling including the ceiling of the connected bathroom. Fixed Elements (Open-Plan Living Area): The kitchen and living room are combined, so the design needs to tie them together using these existing elements: 1. Kitchen Layout: Already planned (IKEA Sinarp – dark oak finish). I will attach the kitchen planning files. 2. Kitchen Backsplash: Calacatta tile pattern (warm veins). 3. Kitchen Countertop: Off-white white or a bright grey. 4. Living Room: We are keeping an existing, well-preserved white L-shaped sofa (medium size). I would like to have a place to hide the iRoomba somewhere in the living room. 5. Bathrooms: Layout is fixed, tiles are already installed, and bathroom furniture is ordered (dark oak, modern style Ideagroup blob 80 cm wide plus large mirror). Thus, they are not meant for design. I am describing also this part of the floor for the purpose of cohesiveness. Attached Files for Reference: • Architect's floor plan (general layout). • IKEA Sinarp kitchen design files. • Photo of the mirror to be used in the entrance. Current site photos (showing screed floors, windows, and finished bathroom tiling) will be provided in a later phase. Deliverables Required: I am attaching a layout (2D) that my husband draw for the electricity and plumbing. However, furniture layouts in living room, entrance and bedroom are not fixed. Thus, I will need help in furniture layout/color/material, proposed wall colour, lights, and 3D photorealistic visualisation, and a basic furniture/material shopping list (mostly from IKEA). How to Apply: Please share your portfolio with similar warm Scandinavian or similar residential projects, your estimated timeline, and a fixed price for this scope of work. Please also state how many revision rounds are included in your quote. Looking forward to your proposals!

Book Marketer for Dystopian Sci-Fi Novel – Strategy + Execution
Hi, I’m Mikhail, I’m looking for a book marketer who can build and [IMPORTANT] execute a promotional strategy for my debut novel. I’m open to any approach that makes sense for the book. What I need is someone who understands the book’s positioning and can recommend the right channels, not just run one playbook. The book is ‘Android Against Moscow’, published on Amazon (Kindle, paperback, hardcover). It’s set in a near-future authoritarian Russia and follows an elderly theatre scholar and his domestic android as they steal classified evidence of state-sponsored historical falsification and try to escape the country. The genre is dystopian science fiction with political themes. Written by a Russian émigré living in Germany. What didn’t work: I previously ran an email outreach campaign that sent roughly 5500 emails to a broad list (poorly targeted?). The open rate was above 40%, but no purchases or reviews followed. Several contacts turned out to be genre mismatches – horror reviewers, psychological thriller bloggers – people who were never going to connect with this book. I don’t want to repeat that approach. What I already have: A published book. Some audiobook chapters. A prologue video on my YouTube channel. Graphics. What I need is someone who knows what to do with all this stuff. https://www.amazon.com/Android-Against-Moscow-T-Woods/dp/B0GYYZFBQ5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh45nAewfjU About the book’s audience: I’m not an expert, but this is probably not mainstream commercial fiction. AI says that the readers who’d love this book are people who read Zamyatin, Orwell, Huxley, Philip K. Dick, Kazuo Ishiguro’s ‘Never Let Me Go’. They care about surveillance, AI consciousness, authoritarianism, and what happens to individuals caught inside political machinery. The marketing needs to find those readers specifically, not cast a wide net and hope. One more thing: the androids are inspired by the game ‘Detroit: Become Human’. I changed the shape of those LEDs, but the Detroit fans will immediately recognise them. But Kara’s story is totally different from Dasha’s. In your proposal, please tell me: What strategy would you recommend for a book with this profile, and why? What channels would you prioritise? Whether you’ve marketed books outside mainstream American commercial fiction, particularly anything with international, European or Russian themes. How you handle reporting and communication. How you structure your pricing. Budget is negotiable. I’d rather invest in a focused strategy that reaches the right readers than pay for volume that reaches no one. I realise that you don’t have time to read all the works. Feel free to ask for a review copy. You may feed it to AI (Claude and Gemini are the most practical helpers in this regard), and I’ll tell you what the machine got right.

Concept Masterplan for a Rural Sicilian Property
I own a rural property near Santa Margherita di Belice, Sicily, surrounded by countryside and olive trees. The plot is approximately 3,900 sqm and includes: an existing small house of about 60 sqm; a registered collapsed/rural building/ruin; olive trees and open land; old rectangular tuff quarry cuts below ground level; an existing access on one side; a possible new main entrance/gate from a lower road. At this stage I am not looking for technical drawings for permits and I am not looking for an architect to deal with Italian planning regulations. Later, when the concept is clear, I will work with a local Italian architect, engineer and surveyor for permissions, structure and execution. For now, I need a creative architect, landscape architect or architectural designer to help me develop a preliminary vision / concept masterplan for the property. What I would like to create The general idea is to transform the place into a beautiful, private rural Sicilian retreat, keeping the character of the land, the tuff stone, the olive trees and the existing buildings. The project should explore: a new main gate and access from the lower road; privacy, fencing and boundaries; restoration/reuse of the existing small house; possible reuse of the existing ruin/collapsed building; landscape design with olive trees, stone paths, shaded areas and outdoor dining; use of the old tuff quarry cuts as sunken gardens, patios, storage, wine/cellar spaces, outdoor rooms or possible future guest spaces; a swimming pool as an important feature of the concept; possible pool locations and styles; Mediterranean/Sicilian rural atmosphere, using stone, tuff, lime plaster, wood, pergolas, natural materials and simple elegant details. The style should be authentic and rural, not fake luxury. I am looking for something elegant, warm, Mediterranean and integrated with the landscape. Pool concept The swimming pool is important and should be included in the masterplan. Please explore different options, for example: a simple rectangular pool near the existing house; a pool integrated with the tuff/stone landscape; a smaller plunge pool as a first-phase option; a more scenic pool connected to the sunken quarry areas. The pool should feel private, natural and well integrated with the Sicilian countryside. Deliverables I would like to receive: Conceptual site plan / masterplan 2 or 3 design options showing different possible layouts Zoning diagram: house, ruin, pool, access, parking, garden, quarry areas, outdoor spaces Suggested pool positions and types Moodboard with materials, atmosphere and references Simple 3D views, sketches or visualisations Suggested development phases, from simple/realistic first works to more ambitious future ideas The work does not need to be technically perfect. I need clear ideas, atmosphere, layout and vision. Important note This is only a concept design project. The final project, permissions, structural checks, building regulations, seismic requirements, pool permits, drainage, engineering and all Italian legal matters will be checked later by local professionals in Sicily. The concept should help me and my wife understand the potential of the property before we invest in a full technical project. Files I can provide I can provide: satellite image with approximate boundaries marked; photos and videos of the land; photos of the existing house and ruin; photos of the tuff quarry cuts; approximate position of the current access; approximate position of the possible new gate; basic measurements if needed. Ideal freelancer I am looking for someone with experience in: rural architecture; Mediterranean design; landscape design; small retreats / boutique hospitality concepts; adaptive reuse of ruins; pool integration in natural landscapes; concept masterplans and visual storytelling. Creativity is more important than technical precision at this stage.

Premium Heritage Logo Finalisation NorthStone Studio
LOGO DESIGN BRIEF — NORTHSTONE STUDIO Business: NorthStone Studio Industry: Premium natural stone and tile installation Location: Northamptonshire, UK Website: northstonestudio.co.uk Tagline: Designing Spaces. Installing Dreams. Brand Description NorthStone Studio is a premium natural stone and tile installation company specialising in architect-led residential interiors, boutique hospitality spaces, and high-end renovations across Northamptonshire. The identity should feel timeless, handcrafted, architectural, and quietly luxurious — inspired by heritage masonry, navigation instruments, and monolithic stone carving. Avoid generic construction branding, overly medieval aesthetics, Viking imagery, AI-looking gradients, chrome effects, or overly ornate luxury styling. The visual language should communicate trust, permanence, precision, and artisan skill. The Brief I need a finalised, professional version of an existing compass star logo mark. The concept is already developed — I need a skilled designer to execute it properly in the correct file formats. The Logo Mark A four-pointed compass star carved from a single monolithic piece of weathered architectural stone with warm brass and gold mineral tones. The star must look like it has been chiselled from one continuous piece of stone — no segments, no joints, no assembled sections. Proportions: North point approximately 20% longer than the other three points. East, west and south points equal in length. Centre intersection point positioned slightly below middle so the star feels grounded rather than top heavy. Subtle engraved compass cross lines running through the centre — clean, precise and architectural, like a traditional navigation compass rose engraved into the stone surface. Texture and finish: Raw, aged, handcrafted — not smooth or laser cut. Natural surface variation across the whole form. Weathered stone texture with character and depth. Deep shadow and light contrast giving genuine dimension. Gold/architectural brass colour — warm, not yellow. The texture should be stone-inspired, not hyper-detailed — it must work at small scale on van vinyl, embroidery and print. Background: Dark slate/charcoal stone for the primary hero version. Typography Business name: NORTHSTONE STUDIO. Tagline: Designing Spaces. Installing Dreams. Direction: Small caps serif with generous letter spacing. Preferred fonts: Canela, Austin, Noe Display or Cinzel. Free alternatives: Cormorant Garamond SemiBold, EB Garamond. Style: Refined, carved, architectural, timeless — NOT wedding venue, perfume brand or vineyard. Layout: NORTHSTONE STUDIO spaced generously, tagline smaller underneath. Brand Positioning 70% Architectural Luxury — clean geometry, sharp engraving, premium modern heritage. 30% Rustic Heritage — handcrafted soul, natural warmth, artisan character. Colour Palette Architectural Brass: #B89A4A. Warm Limestone: #F3EEE5. Dark Slate: #1C1C1C. Walnut Brown: #4A3A2C. Deliverables Required Priority: Primary logo with full business name and tagline. Stacked version. Icon only. Reversed version for light backgrounds. Monochrome black and white versions. Transparent background PNG all versions. SVG and EPS vector files all versions. Additional once approved: Colour palette document. Typography system. Clear space and minimum size rules. Favicon set. Mockups — stone plaque, business card, van signage, website header. Reference images available on request. Budget: £150-£300 Turnaround: Initial concepts within 5-7 days
