Delivery: Live via Zoom, one-off session Session dates: April, August and December, ongoing (specific dates to be confirmed with successful applicants) Duration: 60 minutes (40-50 minutes prepared content, 10-20 minutes live Q&A) I run The DPL Atelier, a UK-based online membership platform teaching fashion design, pattern cutting, fitting and sewing to a community of hobby sewists. We host end-of-season guest expert workshops (April, August and December) for my Premium members, and I'm looking for creative professionals to host these live sessions on topics that complement what we teach but sit outside my own area of expertise. I'm open to booking more than one person across the three dates. What I need: A 60-minute Zoom session for my members, structured as: • 40-50 minutes of prepared teaching content (practical, not just theory) • 10-20 minutes of live Q&A at the end Some examples of topics/ideas (open to your suggestions too!): • Styling and outfit curation for different body types • Sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting • Pattern grading • Hand knitting • Beading and embellishment • Embroidery • Shoe design • Bag design • Any other topic genuinely complementary to fashion design, pattern cutting, fitting or sewing! What makes a good fit: Genuine expertise in your field, happy to teach at a level useful to intermediate hobby sewists (not complete beginners, not industry professionals) Comfortable presenting live and taking audience questions on the spot Some experience with webinars, workshops or online teaching preferred Able to present at a UK-friendly time (around 7PM) What you'll get: • A one-off paid booking of £100 • Exposure to an engaged, niche community who are genuinely interested in your area of expertise • The option to promote your own services, products or offer to attendees at the end, if relevant (to be approved prior to the call) Please get in touch with a short outline of the topic you'd propose, your relevant experience, and a link to any previous talks, workshops or teaching content if you have it.
