Flexible, adaptable, intelligent, diplomatic and ruthlessly efficient describes the person required. This opportunity is only for serious players. Your British Spoken and Written English skills must be excellent; there is no time for correcting spellings and pronunciations from other jurisdictions and dialects. You must be capable of being shown how to do something once and then doing it correctly, consistently and repeatedly without needing to be reminded, chased or shown again. You must be available to start immediately. British working hours must be covered, although working times will vary and may fall anywhere between 6.00 am and 9.00 pm. Weekend work will be required when workloads, urgent cases or major deadlines demand it. You will become the right-hand person to the Executive Director of Landlord Licensing & Defence. Things must be made to happen quickly, accurately and efficiently so that backlogs do not develop and deadlines are never missed. Fast and reliable broadband is essential, together with a backup internet connection for use if the main service fails because of a provider problem, natural disaster or any other disruption. This role is for someone who works hard, goes the extra mile, remains dependable and understands that clients and urgent work cannot simply be abandoned when pressure increases. The systems are relatively simple and straightforward, and anyone who listens carefully, follows instructions and learns quickly should be capable of providing the required support. Much of the work involves copying and pasting accurately, interpreting information, filling gaps, completing forms, preparing documents, maintaining systems and relentlessly following people up until the required result is achieved. The Executive Director does not have time to continue carrying out administration because previous assistants were inefficient, failed to learn and could not act properly upon short or incomplete instructions. There is nothing unnecessarily complicated about the administrative work, but it must be completed correctly, quickly and in exactly the required way. Excellent spoken and written English is compulsory. Perfect grammar, spelling, comprehension and attention to detail must be demonstrated in everything written and said throughout the application process. Being “nearly right” will not be good enough. Communication must always be written in the required house style, which means that there is no “I” or “we”, the client and subject matter remain central, opinions are not invented and every statement is based upon facts, evidence, the law and the reality of the work being undertaken. All clients are under immense pressure because enforcement action is being taken against them. Anxiety and distress must be handled quickly, calmly and diplomatically without promises being made that cannot be fulfilled and without deadlines being committed to unless delivery can be guaranteed. Incomplete instructions must be understood in the context of previous work so that documents and tasks can be prepared for checking without everything having to be explained from the beginning. Corrections must be understood, implemented immediately and applied to all future work without the same mistakes being repeated. This is not a comfortable role for someone who needs constant supervision, avoids responsibility, disappears when things become difficult or produces excuses instead of results. The Executive Director works fast, expects things to be done properly, does not suffer fools gladly and wants the bloody job done. If that sounds unreasonable, do not apply. If that sounds like the challenge you have been waiting for, apply now. Where you live does not matter, and applications are welcomed from anywhere in the world provided that the required working hours, availability, internet reliability and standard of English can be delivered without exception. ACTION: Send a short, entertaining story by DM explaining why an invitation to apply should be sent to you. Do not send a generic CV introduction, corporate waffle or something obviously produced by artificial intelligence. Show intelligence, personality, humour, perfect English and the ability to follow these instructions.

When someone new starts helping me with customer support, they need to understand my way of handling messages, my templates, my tags, and my internal rules. Right now, all that information is scattered across different documents and chats, with no clear order. I want a simple index that shows where each training topic lives and how it fits together. This is a one‑off setup job with a small, fixed deliverable. You will receive: My existing training materials (notes, docs, chat exports, template links, workflow descriptions – roughly 10–20 files or sections). A short note from me describing the main topics a new helper needs to learn (for example: inbox triage, tagging system, templates, escalation rules, response‑time targets). Your work will include: Reviewing all the materials I provide and grouping them into logical training topics (for example: “Getting Started”, “Inbox Triage”, “Tags & Labels”, “Templates & Macros”, “Escalation Rules”, “Weekly Review”). Creating a simple index (Google Doc or Sheet) with: Topic name Short description of what’s covered Link or reference to the source file/section Suggested order for learning (1, 2, 3, etc.) Ensuring the index is easy to scan so a new helper can see at a glance what they need to learn and where to find it. Adding brief instructions (half a page max) on how to use the index during onboarding. Delivering: One final training notes index file (Google Doc or Google Sheet). A short instruction note (can be on the first page of the same file). This index is only for my internal use when onboarding someone to help with customer support. It will not be shown to customers or posted on any website or external platform. If you have experience creating training indexes, onboarding docs, or similar internal resources for customer service or virtual assistant work, please send a message with: A brief description of any similar onboarding or training documentation you’ve built. How you keep training materials clear and easy to follow for someone new.

My personal assistant has been making direct appointments for me We have a target list of solicitors and they have been slowly working through the list, finding the correct contact, speaking to them and creating appointments for me. 19 days ago54 proposalsRemoteFractional Marketplace Operations Specialist
VANDALUX is an early-stage, demand-first marketplace preparing for structured pre-launch validation. We are looking for a hands-on Marketplace Operations specialist to support the founder during the validation stage on a limited, flexible freelance basis. This is an operational role — not a general consulting assignment. The work will focus on marketplace activity that requires human intervention when it cannot be resolved automatically by the platform. This may include identifying and activating relevant sellers, suppliers or partners against specific buyer demand, conducting structured outreach and follow-up, tracking responses and outcomes, handling operational exceptions, and helping turn early manual processes into clear and repeatable workflows. Relevant experience may include: • Marketplace, e-commerce or platform operations • Seller, supplier or partner activation/onboarding • Supply-side outreach and relationship management • Marketplace launch or early-stage operations • Building practical workflows and SOPs from manual processes • Working independently in an early-stage environment Luxury industry experience is welcome but not required. Strong hands-on marketplace operations experience is more important. This is NOT an Amazon/Shopify store-management, product-listing, dropshipping or generic virtual-assistant role. The initial engagement is expected to run for approximately 3–4 weeks, on a limited and flexible hourly basis. The workload during this period may be light and will depend on actual marketplace activity. If there is strong mutual fit and VANDALUX progresses through validation, the engagement may be extended and the scope may grow over time. There may be an opportunity for a substantially broader operational relationship later if VANDALUX progresses successfully and there is strong mutual fit. When applying, please answer these three questions: Please describe one specific example where you personally activated, onboarded or coordinated sellers, suppliers or partners for a marketplace, e-commerce business or platform. If a buyer requested a specific product or opportunity and the marketplace had no immediately available supply, how would you approach finding and activating relevant supply? What is your hourly/day rate, your minimum engagement requirement, and your current availability for a limited fractional engagement?
