Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
When someone new starts helping me with customer support, they need to understand my way of handling messages, my templates, my tags, and my internal rules. Right now, all that information is scattered across different documents and chats, with no clear order. I want a simple index that shows where each training topic lives and how it fits together.
This is a one‑off setup job with a small, fixed deliverable. You will receive:
My existing training materials (notes, docs, chat exports, template links, workflow descriptions – roughly 10–20 files or sections).
A short note from me describing the main topics a new helper needs to learn (for example: inbox triage, tagging system, templates, escalation rules, response‑time targets).
Your work will include:
Reviewing all the materials I provide and grouping them into logical training topics (for example: “Getting Started”, “Inbox Triage”, “Tags & Labels”, “Templates & Macros”, “Escalation Rules”, “Weekly Review”).
Creating a simple index (Google Doc or Sheet) with:
Topic name
Short description of what’s covered
Link or reference to the source file/section
Suggested order for learning (1, 2, 3, etc.)
Ensuring the index is easy to scan so a new helper can see at a glance what they need to learn and where to find it.
Adding brief instructions (half a page max) on how to use the index during onboarding.
Delivering:
One final training notes index file (Google Doc or Google Sheet).
A short instruction note (can be on the first page of the same file).
This index is only for my internal use when onboarding someone to help with customer support. It will not be shown to customers or posted on any website or external platform.
If you have experience creating training indexes, onboarding docs, or similar internal resources for customer service or virtual assistant work, please send a message with:
A brief description of any similar onboarding or training documentation you’ve built.
How you keep training materials clear and easy to follow for someone new.

Would you prefer the final index in **Google Sheets for faster scanning/filtering, or Google Docs for a more guide-like format**?
