Fractional Marketplace Operations Specialist

VANDALUX is an early-stage, demand-first marketplace preparing for structured pre-launch validation.

We are looking for a hands-on Marketplace Operations specialist to support the founder during the validation stage on a limited, flexible freelance basis.

This is an operational role — not a general consulting assignment.

The work will focus on marketplace activity that requires human intervention when it cannot be resolved automatically by the platform. This may include identifying and activating relevant sellers, suppliers or partners against specific buyer demand, conducting structured outreach and follow-up, tracking responses and outcomes, handling operational exceptions, and helping turn early manual processes into clear and repeatable workflows.

Relevant experience may include:

• Marketplace, e-commerce or platform operations
• Seller, supplier or partner activation/onboarding
• Supply-side outreach and relationship management
• Marketplace launch or early-stage operations
• Building practical workflows and SOPs from manual processes
• Working independently in an early-stage environment

Luxury industry experience is welcome but not required. Strong hands-on marketplace operations experience is more important.

This is NOT an Amazon/Shopify store-management, product-listing, dropshipping or generic virtual-assistant role.

The initial engagement is expected to run for approximately 3–4 weeks, on a limited and flexible hourly basis. The workload during this period may be light and will depend on actual marketplace activity.

If there is strong mutual fit and VANDALUX progresses through validation, the engagement may be extended and the scope may grow over time.

There may be an opportunity for a substantially broader operational relationship later if VANDALUX progresses successfully and there is strong mutual fit.
