WordPress Website Revamp – Personal Portfolio Website
Project Overview I am looking for an experienced WordPress developer to revamp my existing personal portfolio website. The website is currently built on WordPress and is live. The objective is to create a modern, clean, responsive website that reflects my professional portfolio and is easy to maintain and update over time. I already have a wireframe, page structure, content direction, and key design elements in mind. The final design is not fixed, and I welcome practical suggestions to improve the overall look and user experience without significantly changing the original direction. Scope of Work • Revamp the existing WordPress website based on the agreed direction. • Back up the existing website before making any changes. • Reuse selected portfolio items, downloadable resources, images, and content where appropriate. • Remove outdated content and pages. • Create a responsive website that works well across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. • Configure a secure contact form with spam protection. • Apply basic on-page SEO best practices. • Create a portfolio section that makes it easy to add, edit, and manage new portfolio projects in the future while maintaining consistent image quality and presentation. • Create a resources/downloads section that is equally easy to maintain and expand over time. • The website will consist of a small number of core pages (e.g., Home, About, Portfolio, Resources, Contact). Portfolio projects and downloadable resources should be implemented using reusable templates or a dynamic structure where appropriate and should not be treated or priced as individual pages. • Keep the implementation clean, lightweight, and easy to maintain so I can independently update portfolio items, images, downloadable resources, and website content without requiring developer assistance. Development Approach • Build the new website in a development/staging environment while keeping the existing website live. • Share progress periodically for review. • Incorporate feedback and revisions where necessary to achieve the expected outcome. • Publish the new website only after final approval. Hosting The website is currently hosted on WordPress hosting. Hosting migration is not part of the current scope. If you believe changing hosting would provide significant benefits, you are welcome to mention it separately. Deliverables • Fully functional WordPress website. • Backup of the existing website. • Production-ready website after approval. • Step-by-step guide (PDF or Word) explaining how to: ◦ Add and manage portfolio items. ◦ Update images. ◦ Edit text and pages. ◦ Upload downloadable resources. • One knowledge transfer session (video call) to explain website administration and answer questions. • Administrator credentials and a list of plugins used. Proposal Requirements Please include: • Examples of similar portfolio or personal branding websites you have developed. • Live website references (where available). • Your recommended approach for this project. • Estimated timeline. • Fixed-price quote. • Number of revision rounds included. • Your working hours and time zone. • Whether you will personally complete the work or work with a team. Please confirm that you have read the complete project description before submitting your proposal.

About the project VisitHalo is a new UK software platform that keeps customers, families and businesses informed around home and property visits — before, during and after an engineer, tradesperson or professional attends. Think reassurance, protection and clear communication, especially for elderly and vulnerable customers and their families. The name meaning: Visit — any trusted professional attending a home or property Halo — a protective, trusted circle around the customer and the visit Tagline: "Every visit. Everyone informed." — see deliverable 5; the icon and main wordmark must work without it. What I need (fixed-price package) Primary logo — wordmark "VisitHalo" plus an icon/symbol Icon-only version — must work as an app icon and favicon at small sizes Mini brand identity: Colour palette (primary + secondary, with hex codes) Font choices (heading + body, licensed or free-to-use fonts) One-page brand sheet showing correct usage File deliverables: vector source files (AI or SVG), plus PNG (transparent) and JPG in light and dark versions Tagline lockup version — the primary logo with the tagline "Every visit. Everyone informed." beneath it, as a separate variant (for website, pitch deck and print use). The main logo must still work standalone without it. Design direction A ring / halo / circle motif is the natural direction — a protective circle around the visit. Open to your interpretation; avoid religious or angel imagery. Style: clean, modern, trustworthy software brand — closer to a fintech or health-tech feel than a tradesman logo. No clip-art houses, spanners, or hard hats. Accessibility is core to this product. The logo must work in high contrast, at small sizes, and be legible for older users. Nothing thin, faint or fussy. Must look credible to two audiences at once: a family member on a phone, and a housing association procurement team in a boardroom. Colour direction Core feel: trust, calm and protection — think teal/deep blue territory (health-tech and care brands live here for a reason), with one warm accent colour (soft gold/amber works naturally with the halo idea) for highlights and calls-to-action. Avoid: red as a primary (reads as alarm/emergency), cold corporate grey as the lead, and anything neon or garish. All colour pairings must meet WCAG AA contrast standards — this product serves elderly and visually impaired users, so accessible contrast is a requirement, not a preference. Open to the designer's palette proposals within this feel — surprise us, but keep it calm and credible. Practical requirements Fixed price only, agreed before start 2–3 initial concepts, then up to 3 revision rounds on the chosen concept Timescale: express — first concepts within 2–3 days of starting, final files within 5–7 days. Please only apply if you can genuinely meet this. Full commercial rights and copyright assigned to the client on final payment — confirmed in writing. Source files included. No stock elements with licensing restrictions. Please include 2–3 relevant portfolio examples (software/tech brands preferred) in your proposal Communication rules All communication must stay on the PeoplePerHour platform. Do not contact me by email or any off-platform channel. Any attempt to take contact or payment off-platform will result in the proposal being declined and reported to PeoplePerHour. Proposals only through the official PPH proposal system. What to include in your proposal Your fixed price for the full package above Timescale confirmation — that you can meet the express schedule above Portfolio links (tech/software brands especially) Confirmation you agree to full rights transfer and source-file delivery Thank you — looking forward to seeing your work.

Beta Tester - Optagen Portal & Integrations What you’re testing The Optagen portal lets you manage multiple stores by bringing together data from your commerce, analytics, accounting, inventory, and CRM systems. It creates a single ranked action list, with each recommendation labeled for trust and checked against real results. We need beta testers to use the portal with real store data and identify what breaks, what’s slow, what’s missing, and what doesn’t match reality. Integration coverage required You will test syncing and data accuracy across these integrations: Commerce platforms: Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Search Console Shipping/3PL: ShipBob, ShipStation, Easyship Inventory systems: Cin7, Katana Accounting: QuickBooks, Xero Marketing/CRM: Klaviyo You don’t need to use every integration—just test the ones you already use. We’re aiming for each tester to cover at least 3 or 4 integrations from different categories. What we’re asking 1. Sync completeness: Check if all the expected fields from each integration show up in the portal. Are SKU, pricing, margin, sales, traffic, inventory, and competitor data there? 2. Refresh latency: See how long it takes for changes in your source system (like a price update in Shopify or a GA4 event) to show up in the ranked plan. 3. Data accuracy: Choose 5 to 10 data points you can check in both your source system and Optagen. Do they match? 4. Signal read accuracy: The portal calculates metrics such as AI visibility, SKU margins, demand signals, returns concentration, pricing elasticity, and competitor share of voice. Check these against your store. Do they make sense? Can you find the data sources if you look for them? 5. Ranked plan stability: Run the same store scan twice in one week. Does the ranked plan update based on new data, or does it stay the same? Are the revenue-impact numbers realistic? What we’re not asking * Testing the governed execution agent (scheduled to ship later; currently in development) * Load testing or scale testing * Security testing or pen testing * UX/design feedback (we’ll gather that separately) Timeline and access * Beta runs from [DATE] to [DATE] * You’ll get portal access for your own stores, using your real data—not test data. * We’ll keep an eye on logs and collect diagnostics if something fails. Please report any issues as they happen via a feedback button. * We’ll have a weekly sync call to talk about any blockers or patterns you notice. Who should apply * You run 1-5 stores across 2+ of these platforms. * You can verify data accuracy (you know your actual margins, traffic, and sales numbers) * You’re willing to spend 2-4 hours per week auditing sync health and data correctness. * You’re okay with bugs and incomplete features since this is a beta test. When you apply, please indicate: * Which platforms you currently use (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy etc.) * Rough store size (monthly revenue or annual, average order value, SKU count) * Any specific data quality concerns you have with your current setup

AI Video Artist Needed – Photorealistic Cinematic Sequences
Looking for an experienced AI video artist with strong experience using Google Veo, Kling AI, Runway, Pika and related cinematic AI tools to create approximately 12 photorealistic video sequences for a feature film. We're looking for an experienced AI video creator to collaborate on a feature film project. The role involves creating approximately 12 cinematic AI-generated video sequences, each between 30 and 350 seconds in length, using two live-action cast members as the basis for the scenes. This is not a typical social media or marketing project. The goal is to produce photorealistic, cinematic-quality footage suitable for integration into a professionally produced feature film. Experience with some or all of the following is preferred: Kling AI Google Veo Runway Pika Midjourney Nano Banana (or similar image-generation workflow) Topaz AI ComfyUI (advantageous) Adobe After Effects / DaVinci Resolve for compositing and finishing Ideally, you'll have experience creating: Photorealistic human performances Consistent characters across multiple shots Cinematic camera movement High-quality environment generation Professional compositing and integration Please send: Examples of your best AI video work The software and workflow you use Your estimated turnaround time Your day rate or project rate Any experience working on film or television projects This is potentially the first stage of a much larger collaboration, with additional sequences planned as the project develops. Please only apply if your work is genuinely cinematic and photorealistic. Please read before applying Please write your proposal yourself. Generic AI-generated responses or copy-and-paste applications make it difficult to identify suitable candidates and are unlikely to be considered. To help us shortlist applicants, please include the following in your response: 1. Which AI video tools do you use most? (e.g. Kling, Google Veo, Runway, Pika, ComfyUI, etc.) 2. Have you created photorealistic videos longer than 30 seconds with consistent characters? 3. Have you integrated AI-generated footage with live-action footage? 4. 25 days ago24 proposalsRemoteWhite-Hat Local SEO Link Builder / Citation Specialist
OVERVIEW I run a portfolio of ~16 local service businesses (luxury transportation / black-car, home services, pet care) in San Diego and the US–Mexico border region. I need a white-hat link builder and local-SEO specialist to earn relevant, real backlinks and build accurate local citations across the portfolio. Ongoing work for the right person. SCOPE - Build and verify local citations with consistent NAP (name, address, phone): Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Yelp, BBB, chambers of commerce, and industry-specific directories. - Earn niche-relevant backlinks through manual outreach: travel/tourism blogs, local news, event and wedding vendors, hotels, and partner businesses. - Digital PR / HARO-style placements where relevant. - Deliver a report with a LIVE URL for every link and citation, the page it sits on, and one line on why it's relevant. HARD RULES — READ BEFORE APPLYING - NO PBNs, link farms, blog-comment spam, directory-blast tools, or "X backlinks for $Y" packages. Links from auto-generated or topically irrelevant domains will be rejected and unpaid. - White-hat only. Every link must be a real, indexable page relevant to a local service business. - No link schemes that violate Google's guidelines. Quality over quantity — I would rather have 10 relevant links than 500 junk ones. TO APPLY (I ignore generic/templated proposals) 1. Do NOT tell me how many links you can build per month. Tell me your PROCESS. 2. Name 3 directories or sites you'd target for a luxury airport car-service business in San Diego, plus 1 for a cross-border travel service. 3. Share 3 live URLs of relevant links you've earned for past clients (actual links, not a screenshot of a dashboard). 4. In one sentence: what's the difference between a citation and a backlink? TERMS Paid trial first: 10 verified citations/links on ONE site. If the quality holds, scale to all 16. Budget: This is a paid trial — 10 verified citations on one site. Fixed: $30 per trial site. Upon successful completion of one trial site, you will be assigned 16 additional sites.

Marketing & Strategy for Launching Membership Programme
Membership Launch Specialist — Online Courses & Communities (UK Hours) About us We're a UK-based, people-first business coaching and skills platform built for small business owners. Our membership combines live coaching, online courses, community and a proprietary smart business app — all at an affordable monthly price. Think of us as a trusted business partner in your pocket, not another tool. We're live, we're trading, and we're ready to grow. We need the right person to help us find our first 100 members — and beyond. What we're looking for An experienced membership and online course launch specialist who has done this before — multiple times, with real results to show for it. You'll know the names Stu McLaren and Amy Porterfield. You'll have strong opinions about what works and what doesn't. You'll be comfortable owning both the strategy and the execution. This is not a role for someone who has read about membership launches. We need someone who has run them. What you'll do You'll take ownership of our membership launch — from strategy through to sign-ups. That includes: Reviewing our current funnel, messaging and positioning and identifying gaps. Building and executing a launch plan designed to convert our first 100 members. Running or overseeing paid and organic acquisition across the right channels. Managing email sequences, landing pages and conversion optimisation. Reporting clearly on what's working, what isn't, and what we're changing. You'll work directly with the founders. No layers, no committees. Fast decisions and real collaboration. Must-haves Proven experience launching online membership programmes or course communities — not just marketing generally. A track record you can point to: real member numbers, real conversion rates, real results. Familiarity with the membership industry — Stu McLaren, Amy Porterfield, the Membership Guys — you know the ecosystem. Full-stack capability: you can lead strategy and get into implementation. Excellent written and spoken English. Available to work within UK business hours (GMT/BST). Nice to haves Experience with small business, coaching or B2B audiences. Familiarity with AI tools and how to use them in a marketing workflow. Experience with webinar-led funnels as a conversion mechanism. How to apply We will only consider applications that include the following: Two or three examples of membership or course launches you have personally worked on. For each: the platform or product, your specific role, the number of members acquired, and the key tactics that drove results. A brief note on what didn't work in one of those launches and what you learned. A short paragraph on how you would approach finding our first 100 members for a UK-based small business coaching and skills membership — what would your first 30 days look like? Applications without this information will not be reviewed. The opportunity This starts as a project focused on our first 100 members. If the fit is right and results follow, this becomes a longer-term and potentially full-time engagement. We're building something with genuine long-term potential — and we want the right people growing with us.
24 days ago29 proposalsRemoteExpires in 5I have written a poem, I want videos played throughout.
I have just this evening written a poem, I still need to revise it slightly, but I would ideally love someone who could compile a 3:29 video with background music 'Sand Drawing - Judah Earl'. I have read it out loud with this song playing quietly in the background, I am no video editor, but with weeks of planning and software and time - which I do not have - I may be able to pull something off. Alas, I require the help of a professional. I have worked out roughly, each video needs to be 3-5 seconds long. I don't know whether it's easier to compile them all at 5 seconds and then shorten the clip to match the words? I have details below the scenes I would love to have based on the chronological order of the poem. The one caveat, is ideally I would love to make all the clips my own, using me, my friends and family. However, that will take much longer. Therefore, I thought, if I can pay someone to get the whole video created, with the text and timing done to a tee, then I could ideally work with you again to revise some if not all of the video clips and swap them out with my own. How does that sound? I don't know the price, might have to be an hourly basis. It would also be lovely if you have your own video footage, to make it personable, otherwise stock footage is fine. As I say, with potential revisions done later. Video Scene Order: 1- A man sat quietly on a bench in the background, looking somewhat sad, with hustle and bustle, crowds of people in the foreground passing by as he looks around. 2- A man or woman praying in a church, chapel, then looking out the stained glass window at the end. 3 - two friends hugging and talking 4 - A Mother and Father dancing or grandparents 5 - A man crying looking to the skies, cloudy grey skies, close up of the eyes, filled with sadness - this could be a couple of videos 6 - Sky scenes, clouds, rain, sunsets in the sky, birds flying, a few montage scenes 5-8 seconds 7 - Flying birds, like a murmuration of birds would be wonderful 8 - Crying person with great emotion, letting it all out, saying goodbye perhaps 9 - someone skimming with a stone, the stone disappears - farewell. another drop in the ocean so to speak. 10 - Traveller, explorer, filmed from behind, with a rugged backpack, climbing a hill, mountain, coast path, adventure themed, moving on, going forth with great strength. 11 - Young couple kissing, intimate, young love 12 - Older couple embracing, long lasting love 13 - Seasons Montage - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. - beautiful. 14 - Clocking spinning, turning, large railway clock, maybe a time lapse of people at times quare station flying by - hinting time flying by. 15 - Someone thinking, deep in thought, pondering questions, maybe sat somewhere quiet. 16 - Something to portray gladness and sadness - good times and bad times, laughter and difficult times. 17 - Workout video, a man or woman pushing through the pain, close up shot in their eyes lifting heavy weight or at the gym, showing power, strength and resilience. 18 - Heartbreak, someone alone by a tree, in a park, relationship ended, sad tears, something to show the world falling around them, maybe leaves falling from a tree as a secondary video. 19 - Clear, calm seas, a beautiful shot of calm waves and maybe a sunset or a whale breaching. 20 - Trees blowing in the wind, shot looking up through the trees. 21 - Moonlight, a breeze at night, a night time scene, maybe the night sky and a shooting star afterwards. 22 - Sunrise, the most beautiful sunrise shot, maybe even with someone in it, looking at the sun as it rises. 23 - A man - me eventually - sat in a meadow, a lovely field, an old English Oak Tree, a wooden field gate, something such as this, looking into the sunset, the shot filmed from behind, contemplating life and lost in thought. End Scene. Thanks p.s. I don't have bags of money, but this is so special to me, I want it to be the first video on my new Instagram account, dedicated to my film making and poetry, reigniting my old self.
