I would like artistic impressions of three barns which already have approved planning permission for conversion to residential dwellings to show what they might look like when complete, for marketing purposes. Finished impressions would ideally show an external view for each barn complete with landscaping and views which I can then pass to my estate agent to be added to the sale particulars to help attract interest in buying the farm as a development opportunity. The Mersey Water Boys
I have adapted my narrative poem 'The Mersey Water Boys' to song lyrics. The piece set initially in 1969 and tells of two scousers working on a sewage farm which they accidentally set on fire. This initiates Greek God vengence and revenge by the pollution of the uk water system. In a fully abstract, artistic video that pulls viewers into a an initially optimistic mood and then darkens then into chaotic pollution and shareholders greed. The concept hinges on bold, vibrant colour work (1960s, reds oranges to darker 1970s browns purples) muted tones and unmistakably surreal imagery—think floating shapes, impossible landscapes. The finished piece should run roughly the length of the song (about four and a half minutes) and flow rhythmically with the beat. I’m open to how you realise the visuals. Key words, phrases from the lyrics could be effective as the lyrics are central. Maybe mixing the sound track in a vibrating guitar string like or jagged sound track shape. The track has a male and female lead singers with a chorus. Audio will be supplied in WAV; you handle everything visual, including any motion graphics, compositing, colour grading, and subtle effects sync. Deliverables • Final video in 4K MP4 (and a 1080p down-res). • A 30-second teaser cut suitable for social media. • Project/source files so I can archive or commission future edits. Once we agree on a direction and cost I’ll share the song, a rough beat-synced storyboard, and reference images to guide the mood. I'm looking for a comic/sequential artist to produce a set of sample pages and character reference sheets for a Kickstarter campaign. If the campaign funds (which is the intention and the plan) this becomes the start of an ongoing commission to illustrate a complete graphic novel (approx. 70–100 pages), with you as the artist throughout. This is the important part: I am looking for a reliable long-term collaborator (I've been burned before), not a one-off gig. The Kickstarter package is a paid trial for both of us (I expect no freebies). If it goes well and the campaign funds, there is a substantial, properly paid body of work to follow: full-page-rate, staged payments, clear deadlines. Please only apply if you can commit to ongoing availability over several months if this progresses. Flakiness at the sample stage is the main thing that would rule someone out of the full work. The story A decades-spanning graphic novella (working title: Get In, Get Up, Get Out) about two men — one white, one Black, both drawn as genuinely desirable in their own distinct registers whose relationship begins with a paid encounter and becomes a lifelong, unlabelled attachment. Told in short, mostly-dialogue vignettes across roughly 35–45 years, from a hotel room in the late 1980s to old age. It is frank, (probably) funny, emotionally restrained, and set in London. Art style Naturalistic. Real anatomy, real light, real ageing. Not stylised, not cartoon, not manga. Faces need to hold likeness across dozens of pages and communicate a lot with very little (a look, a held silence, a hand). If your portfolio is mostly stylised or cartoon work, this probably isn't the right fit. However, if you're not sure, ask. Content and themes — please read before applying The story is adult in subject matter but not sexually explicit — nothing sexual is ever depicted on the page; everything happens in the gutter between panels. That said, the themes include: ** Sex work (male escorting) as the origin of the central relationship ** A gay/bi relationship between two adult men, spanning decades ** An interracial relationship, handled without the story ever making race the subject of dialogue ** A lot of swearing ** Ageing bodies, injury, and mortality (the story ends with both men elderly) ** Class and money as a recurring, sometimes uncomfortable thread Please only apply if you're genuinely comfortable illustrating all of the above. Audio Fixing - Denoiser, Deesser type job
I'm working with a short piece of audio (2min30sec) for community river education piece about our local river history and something funny is happening with the audio on these narration snippets I've been given - just noisy and too much sibilance. I've tried the standard Denoiser & Deesser that comes with FCPx but I feel like these tools distort the audio too much... I just want it cleaned up. I'm more of a visual artist than an audio expert and I just have not been able to get it clean without distortion. I have a feeling this is the kind of thing that someone with an ear & experience repairing audio will be able to fix quite easily. I need to create a keepsake retirement book scrapbook style
I need a designer who can help put together lots (approximately 100-300 messages) of kind messages from clients (we'll be receiving them via email) and put it together tastefully - can be scrapbook art style or any way artistically that is easy on the eye. I will be having a front cover with our logo (see blank attachment - i want the front cover to look watermarked and semi-transparent like on this page) and the first page with a nice retirement quote, the next several pages with messages from clients and then at the end a page with sticky-note or scrapbook style messages from our team dedicated to our retiring colleague and on the final page, a QR code that I will provide that will link to a video file that our retiring colleague can scan to view messags from the team. The attachment showing internal quote page style is how I want the messages from clients and team members to look like perhaps with rough/worn edges as a border so it looks like it's been glued onto the page. It should look worn and scrappy on purpose (i.e. scrapbook style) I will be collating client messages over the course of the next 7 days. Ideally a quick turnaround of a draft would be helpful so i have time to get it printed before her retirement party at the end of the month.
