Description

Experience Level: Expert
*We’re a small music collective working with a limited budget but we’re flexible depending on the scope and artist.*

At RYLB Music we have a strong vision to have beautiful visuals to further explain the deep lyrics of our songs. We've created *very rough storyboards* of the scenes we’d like to see in the video and what part of the song it matches with, hopefully to make collaboration easier and we'd be happy to share that.

We'd like to get an idea of what the process of working with you would look like and how much your services would cost us. *No sound design required*, we're going for a serious, cinematic and ethereal 2D illustrated style, similar to BibleProject. We’re looking for painterly/textured artwork, symbolism, earthy/beautiful colours etc. Scenes are based on song lyrics or biblical references.

Clarification Board Ask a Question

  • Uthman M.

    1. Could you please share the rough storyboards and any visual references you have, so I can gain a clear understanding of the creative direction and expected animation style?

    2. What is the total duration of the song, and approximately how many scenes would you like to be developed and animated?

    3. Will the illustrations, characters and other visual assets be provided, or would you like the animator to create the artwork from the ground up?

    4. What level of animation are you envisioning for each scene, such as character movement, camera movement, transitions, lighting effects and atmospheric elements?

    5. Do you have a preferred completion date or release deadline for the finished music video?

    6. Given the project's current scope and your mention of a limited budget, do you have an estimated budget range in mind for the animation?
