We're an established UK online building-products retailer (large catalogue) levelling up our Shopify store, supplier by supplier. We're looking for a design-capable Shopify developer — someone who builds clean, well-structured Shopify and has a genuine eye for design. This first project builds the reusable foundation our whole catalogue will run on, then completes one product range (external cladding, ~11 products) as the gold-standard template. Sound design & final mix for a 2-minute video

I have a two minute corporate video for YouTube and web that needs professional sound design and a final mix. The voiceover and music are already in place and will be supplied as separate files. Your job is to bring the visuals to life with sound effects and deliver a polished, balanced final mix. The picture edit is near final, but some motion graphics may still be tweaked after delivery, so the file delivery requirements below are essential. Scope of work: - Design and sync sound effects to picture (transitions, motion hits, ambience and similar, as appropriate to the edit) - Balance voiceover, music and SFX into a final mix - Master to around -14 LUFS, suitable for YouTube and web Deliverables: - Final mix as a 48kHz WAV - Separate stems for voiceover, music and SFX - Each individual sound effect also delivered as its own WAV, with every file exported from the same start point (00:00:00) so they all line up in my timeline. This is a firm requirement: if the motion changes, I need to remove or nudge a single effect without redoing the mix. I am looking for someone who can do two things: 1.⁠ ⁠Listen to my product idea and sketch it out clearly. 2.⁠ ⁠Physically build a rough basic model of it, using simple materials if possible. I do not want CAD files, 3D renders, digital images, UX design, branding, or a polished prototype. I need someone who can actually make a simple physical version so I can see whether the idea works in real life. The model does not need to look beautiful. It does not need to be factory-ready. It can be rough, basic, handmade, and made from wood, plastic, card, foam board, 3D printed parts, brackets, hinges, magnets, or whatever simple materials make sense. The important thing is that you can think practically, sketch the idea, and then build a physical proof-of-concept model yourself. I am based in London and would prefer someone I can meet in person first, but I am open to discussing options. I would prefer someone based in London and or near London. I know some designers are like "any designer who is worthwhile makes cad drawings and renders". Back 200 years ago, there were no computers, yet people made things, inventions were still created. I need an 'old school' mindset because I just purely want a person who can and does make things in their home.
