Logo Design Brief — Chef Idris
I’m looking for a designer to create a logo for my personal brand, Chef Idris, launching in 2027.
I’ve been cooking for the past 10 years and have built a reputation for bold, beautiful flavours. My cooking sits in the Afro-fusion space, celebrating African roots while bringing together influences, ingredients and techniques from different cultures.
I want a logo that captures who I am: expressive, creative, warm and confident. It should feel contemporary and distinctive, with a sense of quality that makes people curious to taste my food and book my services.
Creative direction
* Bold, elegant and recognisable.
* A thoughtful connection to my African heritage and culinary identity.
* Personality and warmth, alongside a premium feel.
* Open to a strong wordmark or a distinctive “CI” monogram.
The logo needs to work across social media, my website, menus, chef jackets, aprons and packaging. Please include a primary logo, a simplified version and versions that work in black and white.
Above all, I want an identity that feels true to me and can grow with my brand.

Would you prefer the identity to focus on a strong Chef Idris wordmark, or a distinctive “CI” monogram that can become a signature mark?
