Colour banding fix, posterisation fix, masking for short film
Objectives * The objective of this project is to tidy-up some of the scenes in a short film. Deliverables * To remove or reduce banding in some shots. To remove or reduce posterisation in other shots. And to mask a small object in a couple of other shots. If anything else is spotted during the ‘clean-up’ then we can take a view as to whether it is distracting enough to warrant a tidy up. This may include some colour grading to match existing shots once banding issues etc have been resolved. Timescale * To begin as soon as possible. This should hopefully not be a long process, but it would be important to ‘walk through’ the video with a view to picking up on any other spurious challenges. Much of the video is fine, but when it’s not fine, it is quite noticeable - particularly (as you might imagine) on larger screens. Hopefully everything should be easily completed within a week after the ‘walkthrough’. Spec * Editing to be done in Final Cut Pro if possible. That’s not absolutely essential. However any rendered file would need to be able to be imported and also edited in Final Cut Pro. Files should be rendered in 4k, highest bit rate possible. The file to be edited has already had some grading done. It’s not pro res footage. Context * This is a short zero budget Indie Film. Music, soundscape and pro audio have yet to be added. I’d like to do that after this work is done. The film itself is mystery/spooky/metaphorical and would probably be rated as no more than PG if it were in such a classification system. N.B. Re the aforementioned ‘walkthrough’, I would really like to talk through the film (which is circa 10 mins long) whilst pointing out what is specifically required. To that end, someone based in the Central Belt of Scotland would be preferred. Not absolutely essential but I think things would be smoother, easier, more straightforward that way. This website was created a while ago, and its main problems are: - Uses old Vue2 - Contains a weird, tweaked copy of Bootstrap v4.0.0 (from the original developer) - References old versions of various libraries, some of which have been dead for multiple years - Has some SEO-related suboptimalities The deliverables of this project are: - Upgrade to Vue3 - Upgrade to relevant newer libraries (some may be dropped as no longer necessary) - Migration to Bootstrap 5 (or whatever the newest version is), including removal of most of the files from src/assets/scss (mostly exact copies of Bootstrap v4.0.0 files) and replacing them with only modifications to the default Bootstrap 5 behaviour (i.e. custom variables, other custom code, etc.) - Adding some SEO optimizations that will be further specified later (e.g. including meta description to individual pages, automatic generation of sitemap and robots.txt). A testing environment has been created on an AWS EC2 instance where full access will be granted. Once the site looks the same as the original one, the result will be deployed to the production site. The intention is to keep the site looking the same; however, any improvement suggestions will be considered, and extra workload may be granted if the change makes sense.

Hi, I have a client working in food preparation who stores dry food and frozen food to make meals. The expiry dates of the food is important and they need to avoid waste. I need a Google Apps Script to check a Google Sheet for the background colour of cells in two columns that turn red (using conditional formatting) when the expiry date of the product is soon. This tells the client which ingredients to use first when making meals. I would like the script to send an email if one or more of the product lines has a red background colour (indicating its imminent expiry).
