Arc GIS training for 2 members of our team
Hi, we are looking for someone who is expert in Arc GIS to help us with some internal training for 2 or 3 members of our team, online training is fine, and we would record the session for future reference back. We do a limited number of things in ArcGIS which creates the mapping for LVIAs as follows: - we create Site Context Plans of the project site we are looking at and a defined radius for residential developments, from 10 to 4,000 homes. We include datasets of designations, from government and local council websites. - we create topography plans for the same study area as above - we create landscape character plans which uses downloadable datasets and sometimes we have to draw the data if it is not available for the same study area as above - we create ZTVs and viewpoint location plans, using GPS points we have taken on site. So its training for creating the mapping, creating the sheets, downloading and importing the data, importing OS mapping, Its not complicated stuff, and some of it is already templated. but it is about helping the team to be confident with using GIS and giving them a good grounding into GIS. So I think perhaps training split into a couple of hours each session, over a course of sessions is probably the best way to train. We need good communicators who are experienced at training and explaining basics through to more complex ideas. I have included an example of mapping to give you a feel for what we produce for projects.

I need two complementary datasets built from the same elevation source: 1) precise hydroplane tracing that captures natural drainage lines, gullies and flow paths; 2) a full set of elevation contours. Both outputs will feed into agriculture planning, flood-risk checks and some small-scale construction decisions, so accuracy is critical, especially around low-lying paddocks and potential building pads. I will supply current property boundaries and any existing DEM tiles I hold; if higher-resolution data or LiDAR is available in public repositories, please factor that in. The work can be completed in ArcGIS Pro (preferred) or an equivalent GIS that produces identical results. Acceptance criteria • Hydroplanes snap cleanly to the underlying DEM and respect watershed breaks. • Contours are smooth, logically nested and free of spikes or dangles. • All layers align perfectly with GDA2020 / MGA Zone 55. • Metadata records processing steps and source datasets. Deliverables • Layer files (shapefile or GeoPackage) for hydrolines and contours. • A ready-to-print PDF map for each property at 1:5 000 showing both layers, legend and scale bar. • Brief method note (PDF or DOCX) summarising tools, settings and any interpolation used. If something here is unclear, let me know so we can pin down exact contour intervals and file naming before you begin.

Draft accounts to be prepared for mortgage advisory firm.
I am a Directly Authorised mortgage broker. It is an FCA requirement that I submit my accounts to them bi-annually. I need someone to prepare draft accounts for my company for the past 6 months of trading, with specific requirements and broken down into the following categories: • Commission from broking regulated mortgages • Commission from broking non-regulated loans split between: • Limited company borrowers • Non-limited company borrowers • Commission from broking protection policies • Commission from broking GI policies • Income from any other non-regulated activities These accounts do not need to be filed, only prepared and I need to have these back and submitted to my compliance company before 6th May. For the suitable freelancer, this will be an ongoing arrangement every 6 months and for the accounts to be prepared in March, these will need to be filed and attached to companies house etc. Accounts are not my forte, so I had an accountant do all of this for me, however, their charges are excessive for the little work that is required. I use Xero accounting software, if that is of any significance.
