Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are Terra Visus Ltd, specialists in high-resolution 360° street-level imagery and mobile LiDAR data.
We need a public-facing interactive map application that will showcase our coverage areas and datasets available for licensing.
The application should allow users to:
* View vector coverage layers (street-level imagery, LiDAR, etc.)
* Toggle between datasets and basemaps
* Zoom into national, city, and street levels
* Click on coverage to see metadata (capture date, type, etc.)
* Search or filter by region
We already have an ESRI ArcGIS Online account, but we are open to MapBox, Leaflet, or other modern GIS web frameworks if they provide the best performance.
Key Requirements
* Interactive, branded web map application
* Display vector coverage layers with toggle controls
* Clean, responsive interface (desktop + mobile)
* Fast loading of large datasets (vector tiling/optimisation)
* Easy process for us to update layers as new data becomes available
* Hosting via ESRI ArcGIS Online, MapBox, or other recommended service
Deliverables
* Fully working web application hosted on our domain
* Source code + documentation
* Instructions for updating coverage data and deploying updates
Skills Needed
* Web GIS development (MapBox, Leaflet, or ArcGIS JS API)
* Experience handling large vector datasets
* UI/UX for map applications
* Hosting and deployment experience
Timeline & Budget
* Prototype within 4–6 weeks
* Final delivery within 2–3 months
*Budget: £4,000 – £8,000 depending on scope and developer experience
Next Steps
When applying, please include:
* Examples of similar map/GIS projects you’ve delivered
* Your proposed approach (platform, framework, hosting)
* Estimated timeline and cost
