I'm looking for an experienced line editor, or two or three editors working in parallel, to help polish my next book. It is a data-led non-fiction guide to how part of the film business works. The first full draft is finished. The structure is settled, the research is done, and every figure and quotation has been checked against its source. The spelling is clean. Now it needs a good ear. I'd like the writing to: * read more naturally, more like one person talking to the reader; * lose any waffle, repetition or stiff phrasing; * keep a consistent tone from chapter to chapter.
