Financial Analysis in real estate

I am posting on behalf of my client, they are looking to instruct an experience financial analysis asap, work available as of Monday 9th Feb

We are looking for an experienced financial analyst to support ongoing financial analysis work focused on Public Limited Companies (PLCs).

The role will involve analysing financial information, reviewing company accounts, and producing clear, structured insights to support strategic and investment-related decision-making.

This engagement will initially be on an hourly basis, with ongoing work available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Analysis of PLC financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Review of historical financial performance (typically 3–5 years of accounts)
- EBITDA analysis
- Identification of financial risks, trends, and key performance drivers
- Financial modelling and scenario analysis where required
- Preparation of concise written summaries, insights & recommendations

Candidate MUST be fluent in English and able to participate in video and phone discussions to explain findings clearly

Requirements
- Proven experience in financial analysis, equity research, corporate finance, or similar
- Demonstrable experience analysing publicly listed companies
- Strong understanding of financial statements, EBITDA, and valuation fundamentals
- Advanced Excel / financial modelling skills
- Fluent spoken and written English (must be comfortable on video calls)
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely

Preferred (Not Essential)

Experience analysing companies in real estate, asset-backed, or capital-intensive sectors
Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS)
Experience working with international clients or investors
