Need website transitioned to a new theme; some function updates
We are a non-profit organization and have a great website that we love but the theme of the site is apparently expiring and unable to function properly for much longer (or so we've been told). We are looking for a proposal to help select a new theme, transfer our site to that theme, and enhance some of the areas on our site, specifically the events section. We'd like to have some thoughtful proposals that: 1) recommend a new theme and why it would be good for us 2) address enhancing the following pages: >>>Homepage - we want the homepage to better highlight the services we offer >>>Events page - we want the events page to be a landing page that will feature all the topical events we host and provide a clear, fabulous looking archive of our past events >>>we'd like the membership and information page to have a chatbot with either AI or some pre-programmed answers and eventual connection to a staff person if necessary >>>Section of the proposal that would suggest updates and changes to industry standard. >>>coordination with our news site -- automatic updating of the industry and people on the move section of the news site, with our home site The site is also coordinated with a back-end run membership program, growthzone. We only need the site to support sharing information about our organization and upcoming events similarly to what it does now. What we like: >>We like a modern streamlined feel but we do understand that our format could use a refresh >>We like movement and interactive panels >.We like clear, bold features that would allow us to make a big impact on a new visitor with all the services we offer. What we don't like: >>Lots of scrolling >>Difficulty finding information >>Lots of clicking to get to the page you need We will only consider proposals that speak to our requirements. Thank you for considering this job.

You must live in Libya. Once the equipment is set up, your responsibilities for this project will be minimal (e.g., carrying out small tasks like resetting our phones and purchasing SIMS, making sure the phone is online for us to connect remotely, etc.). It's a great way to earn some passive income. We pay a monthly fee of 100 EUR. You would be hosting 1 Android phone with a Post paid Singtel sim card. We work alongside a compliance company that monitors mobile ads worldwide for mobile operators (like Orange, Tigo, Express, Zain, etc.) and content providers, in other words, we check ads on phones and make sure they are compliant. We make sure that our clients are following the correct norms and regulations in the countries they publish their ads. We achieve this by connecting remotely to phones where our clients publish their ads, in this case in libya. (We are preferably looking for staff who have a Samsung phone that they are not using, as we need these devices for our work operations. However, if you don't have one we can provide you with a device).

Phased AI Chatbot Development: Self-Hosted RAG System
Project: We seek an experienced AI/ML developer to build a self-hosted AI chatbot system utilizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for our health related course Website. We have a wiki, over 1,200 articles, a 70k Youtube channel, podcast, lots of content. End goal is to have everything relevant RAG-ed for LLM use. We plan for users to have access to two tiers of LLM to answer their question: Free Tier: Intelligent FAQ using public content, guiding users to resources. Paid Tier: Expert-level assistant with secure access to proprietary support databases and premium materials. **** This project is structured in paid, progressive milestones, beginning with a full prototype. We're looking for a long-term development partner. ****** Milestone 1: End-to-End RAG Chatbot Prototype (Pilot Phase) Objective: Deliver a complete, functional RAG chatbot prototype. This milestone will serve as an immediate proof-of-concept, demonstrating core RAG pipeline functionality, response quality, and technical execution in a self-hosted environment. Scope of Work: Ingest and process a small sample of public website content provided. Implement text chunking and generate embeddings using a local embedding model. Store data in a local vector database (e.g., ChromaDB, FAISS). Set up local LLM serving (e.g., Ollama) with open-source models (e.g., Mistral, Gemma). Develop Python script: Query -> Retrieve Context -> Prompt LLM -> Generate Response. Implement a simple Command-Line Interface (CLI) for interaction. Deliverables for Milestone 1: A fully functional Python script demonstrating the RAG process. The populated local vector database files. Clear setup instructions for local LLM serving and running the script. A brief README explaining models and prototype functionality. A demonstration of the chatbot responding to example queries. Milestone 1 Budget: We have allocated $800 - $1800 USD for this pilot milestone. Please quote your price for this specific scope. Evaluation Criteria: Functionality, AI response quality/relevance, code clarity & documentation, technical competence in local LLM/DB setup, communication. Full Project Vision & Long-Term Income Potential: Successful Milestone 1 completion leads to an invitation for subsequent phases, building the complete system. The estimated total development budget for the entire project is $7,000 - $20,000+ USD. Future milestones will involve: scaling data ingestion (public & proprietary), building a web UI, implementing secure paid-tier logic, and production deployment. This offers a significant opportunity for a stable, long-term engagement. Preferred Technology Approach: Python, LangChain/LlamaIndex, Ollama for local LLM serving, and local vector databases like ChromaDB/FAISS. Experience with FastAPI/Flask for backend APIs and Streamlit for UIs is a plus. We value documented expertise in open-source LLMs and RAG principles. We are open to well-reasoned alternative technologies that align with our self-hosted, cost-effective, performant goals. How to Apply: Please submit your proposal including: Your quote for Milestone 1. A brief outline (max 500 words) of your strategy for the full project's future milestones. Your relevant experience with RAG systems, self-hosted LLMs, Python, and related frameworks. Links to your portfolio or examples of similar AI development projects.

Ticket sales website for multiple events
Hi, I'm looking for someone to help build a website that can sell tickets to three events that we run throughout the year. Currently we have three separate ways that we sell tickets, and we would like to bring this all under one 'events' website that could run all year. The event types are different - one awards dinner where people have the option of buying pairs or tickets or tables, one day conference where people can buy different types of ticket and one evening party where people can buy a ticket or hotel package. The events themselves are spread out throughout the year but the plan is that people could start buying tickets from the day after the event so we don't lose momentum. Each event would need to be hosted in a separate page of the website so we can include the full details and the booking options. We currently use Stripe for payments. Ideally this would be built using Wordpress. We have a tech team but we would be looking to outsource the setup project and it be built in a way that they could easily update it going forward - or it be so simple that our editorial team could update the content of the website without any dev skills. However we would consider different platforms if there was something you thought would work better. We already have one website for the conference and would be looking to keep the overall feel in the same style. If you think this project could be for you I can share more details of our own brand etc. We have an in-house design team too so would be using their design work and they would be able to work with you for specific elements of the website if you needed it. There isn't a budget for this project so please ignore the one given. We're looking for someone who can build something professional that will last so happy to pay for the right person.
