UI Design + HTML/CSS Templates for Book Catalogue Web App
I’m looking for a frontend designer to help improve the visual design of an existing web application. The application is a book catalogue / library system. I handle all backend development myself; what I need is a clean, modern, reusable frontend design, delivered as static HTML/CSS templates that I can integrate into my app. The look I'm after is fairly minimal, clean, for instance goodreads or rightmove. I do have a crude logo and some other icons/assets but am looking for all new designs. Scope of Work: Create an overall visual design / theme for the site Apply the design to 3–4 sample pages that I will provide (existing content and layout) Deliver: Responsive HTML templates CSS (plain CSS or SCSS is fine) Any images / icons / fonts required for the design Design should be consistent and reusable across additional pages I’ll apply myself later. This is a design-first task, not backend or JS-heavy work. I will supply content and structure for pages such as: Book listing / catalogue view Book detail page Simple form page (add/edit book) Basic navigation / layout shell You’ll restyle these using the same content but with an improved visual design. Technical Preferences: Clean, semantic HTML Modern CSS (Flexbox / Grid) Minimal or no JS unless genuinely needed No frameworks required Easy for a backend developer to integrate and extend What I’m Looking For: Strong UI / visual design skills Experience delivering static HTML/CSS templates Clear, well-organised code Good communication and willingness to iterate on design feedback Please include examples of similar work (especially dashboard, catalogue, or data-driven UIs). Deliverables: 3–4 responsive HTML pages CSS + assets Brief notes on how the layout is structured (optional but appreciated) Budget: Open to proposals — happy to pay fairly for quality work.
19 hours ago77 proposalsRemoteAPA Article on 2026 Financial Discipline
I’m preparing a series of papers that explore how credit will look in 2026, and I now need a stand-alone, publication-ready article that drills into Financial Discipline in 2026 within that broader context. The piece must follow current APA guidelines from title page through references, and it should feel at home in an academic journal: formal voice, third-person where appropriate, objective tone, clear citations. Main emphasis The discussion has to stay tightly focused on debt management as the cornerstone of financial discipline. Every argument, statistic, or projection you include should connect back to how disciplined debt practices influence—or are influenced by—the evolving credit system and credit-scoring methodologies expected in 2026. What I will provide • My existing outline and notes on debt management trends, regulatory changes, and projected consumer behaviors. • A short list of source articles already gathered. You’re free (and encouraged) to expand the research base, as long as all additional references are peer-reviewed or come from credible financial institutions. What I need back • A complete APA-formatted manuscript (Word or Google Docs) that integrates my outline, adds well-sourced analysis, and flows logically from introduction through conclusion. • An APA reference list with DOIs or direct URLs for every citation. • In-text citations double-checked for accuracy and APA compliance. Acceptance criteria The manuscript must: 1. Maintain an unbroken focus on debt management within the larger 2026 credit landscape. 2. Anchor each key point in verifiable research published within the last five years, unless the source is a foundational theory. 3. Observe current APA 7th edition rules for headings, tables/figures (if any), citations, and references. 4. Be free of grammar errors and plagiarism, passing Turnitin or equivalent. If you’re comfortable writing in strict APA style, have a solid grasp of credit-industry terminology, and can weave debt-management insights into the projected 2026 scoring environment, I’d love to see your approach and timeline. I need an article in APA format (my writings and articles are about Credit in 2026, Financial Discipline in 2026, The Credit scoring system in 2026) Credit System in 2026 Financial Discipline in 2026 in relation to the Credit System in 2026 The article needs a short bio about the writer (To learn about the writer you will need to Google them to get an ideal of them and their style of writing etc) and there are several key words the article needs to mention, such as Dr. Credit King Your Credit Defines Your Creditability like the book title, However, I already completed 60% of the article, so please use what current research already done, but Some of the subtitles mention in the article are the following Keep The 202 Landscape. Your Financial Creditability Consumers Effect Credit Scores Volatit and Credit Access The Discipline of Finances as the Differentiation Also incorporate writer new book (published in April 2026) with the article DNA (Data Numerical Accuracy) keep Conclusion Financial Sobriety in in Informational Age. instead of saying Keep The 2026 Landscape. of credit . use my book title and you can title the The DNA of Credit in 2026. or some kind of why make up a title relating to my book title or titles Remove In the article, please remove The Adaptation of the Card Issuers! in the attachment articles Key word is to use is Dr. Credit King and insert his new book titled DNA will be out in March 2026 and also the quote mention in the article on Page 1 is Your Credit Defines Your Credibility it's a Book by the same author, its needs to mention and again we dot use the work Rental Landlord, so there needs to be a different word or change the entire paragraph it's up to you and to get information on the Author PLEASE Google him Dr. Credit King or CHAYO BRIGGS to learn about the author and there is no work count. Backend Game Logic Engineer
I’m building a persistent, browser based strategy MMO. The UI is largely in place, I need an experienced backend engineer to implement the core game engine and logic, strictly following a written specification. This is a logic heavy role, not a UI or design role. What you’ll be responsible for You will implement the backend systems that power the game, including: - Colony state and ownership - Resource production, storage caps, and protection - Build / research / training / shipyard queues (time-based, server-authoritative) - Fleet travel, ETA calculation, and recall windows - Deterministic combat resolution (no RNG) - Colonisation, conquest, and hard anti-griefing rules - Technology effects on units, fleets, and travel - APIs consumed by an existing frontend UI The game is fully deterministic: Given the same inputs, outcomes must always be identical. - Non negotiable constraints Please do not apply if any of these are a problem: - No randomness in combat, travel, or production - No “simplifying” mechanics - No redesigning rules or systems - No adding features that are not in the spec This role is implementation, not interpretation. What I’ll provide - A detailed game design document defining all mechanics - Clear formulas for combat, travel, sensors, queues, and tech - An existing frontend UI to integrate against - Fast feedback and decisions (no stakeholder mess) Tech stack - I’m flexible on stack, but you should be comfortable with: - REST or equivalent API design - Relational data modelling - Time based systems (queues, timers, delayed resolution) - Writing automated tests for deterministic logic Please state: - Your preferred backend stack - How you would test deterministic systems - Deliverables (initial milestone) As a first milestone, I expect: Backend logic + API for: - Colony command screen (timers, resources, queues) - Fleet launch, ETA calculation, recall logic - Active missions list - Basic automated tests validating core formulas - Budget & engagement Open to hourly or milestone based pricing - Looking for quality over speed - Long term work possible if this goes well When applying, briefly describe: - A system you’ve built where correctness mattered more than UX - How you avoid logic drift over time

I am restructuring six “Creative Brief Plans,” one for each short video I will be filming. Alongside these, there is a separate Notion database called Visual Content Specs, which serves as a centralized visual reference library. It contains mood boards, image references, and detailed visual options, and is designed to be easy to expand. The purpose of the two databases is distinct but complementary: - Creative Brief Plans focus on written direction and storytelling. - Visual Content Specs focuses on visual details and imagery. Together, they provide a clear, consistent guide showcasing options, direction and uniformity for the visually desired story, helping me decide what to include in each video. ---- DELIVERABLES The data across both databases is heavy in both text and images, and it needs to support text-driven and image-driven views equally. I need help auditing and restructuring the system so it is intuitive, efficient, and easy to use without confusion. - Specifically, I need the structure to support: - A simplified, centralized overview that makes the big picture of both databases immediately clear. Clear call-outs to the most efficient “starting point” (whether that is a dedicated overview page, a space-level page, or the main database view) - Correct and consistent property formats so each piece of information is understandable at a glance. This is especially critical for image-based content - Purpose-built database views for both Pages and Properties with particular attention to image viewing, comparison, and reference - Clear, intuitive navigation from *All Pages*, including a clean and logical “Cultures | Archive” structure - No redundant or duplicated information across pages, properties, or views - Both databases must remain easy to add new research and images to without breaking the structure. - It is essential that all key information can be understood directly from the database level, without needing to open individual pages—using toggles, collapsible sections, and multiple database view modes (or other appropriate tools). - Finally, Visual Content Specs must be easily and frequently referenced from within each Creative Brief Plan, reinforcing a clear link between written direction and visual execution. - This model will be for 6 videos at first, but there will be 6 more in the future utilizing the same model, 6 more again and so on -- PLEASE NOTE — I’ll be asking to sign a NDA - non disclosure agreement, requesting full privacy of this project once we begin working together
